I’ve been living in the U.S. for 16 years, and the thing I’ve missed and loved the most is lahmacun. After trying it at PIDDE, I’ve never had lahmacun anywhere else again. At other places I’ve tried over the years, I always experienced heartburn afterward — but never at PIDDE.

“So I just had iftaar with their tikka paratha roll that I had got last Sunday evening. It just tasted so good even though I ate it cold straight from the fridge. 😊 It didn't taste as good when I had ordered it on site. Then, without me even asking for anything, they remade it and gave it to me to take it home with me even though I had told them I was full. 😊😊 The largest portions I have ever seen anywhere, good food, clean, best interior and decor, excellent service. I have yet to see a BETTER or even equally nice place in NYC. 🤍 Jo baat hay. Food makes/breaks the mood.“

The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. “I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

“My husband and I went to Forefeathers tonight for dinner, it was excellent. The chicken tenders were delicious, the pink dipping sauce was very good. “I’ve tried over a dozen Halal carts in the city, and this one has by far the best chicken over rice. Once you try it, you’ll go out of your way to come here every time you crave halal.

The chicken is juicy and always perfectly flavored and cooked. All ingredients are fresh. The sauces are great, and the red sauce is VERY spicy (love it)

The folks running it are super friendly and the cart is kept clean.

I’m legitimately concerned that once people find out about this place, there will lines around the block. It’s one viral TikTok away from becoming an overcrowded tourist spot.“

“Tasty halal food just a few steps away from the hotels near Queensbridge 21 street. It's delicious, clean, and a fantastic deal. The gentleman cooking the food is super nice. I highly recommend it. I was really craving that halal food. The chicken is well-seasoned, the rice is cooked just right, and the fresh sides like salad and onions are great. Definitely recommend it. You get a ton of food for around $10. Thank you!!!!!
