“Probably one of the best, if not THE BEST, Lahori /Pakistani restaurants in the US. The street food style menu is such a unique and authentic experience.

We tried the paratha rolls which were perfectly spiced, wrapped in flaky paratha with amazing chutneys and the crispy chicken sandwiches that were huge, juicy, and packed with desi inspired flavors. The gappa chaat was a showstopper too, tangy, spicy, fresh, and beautifully presented.

The place has such a cool, authentic vibe with vibrant murals and a welcoming atmosphere. Even the washrooms were extremely nice and well kept (wish I had taken a picture to show that)

If you’re craving real Lahori street food vibes in the US, this spot is a must visit. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, friendly staff, and flavors that hit home.“

“Great food, all tasted fresh and didn't disappoint..we ordered the dinner for 2 that included 4 choices of cold starters and calamari that melts in your mouth and the salad was so good and the mix kebab and koftas over rice was good too..will definitely recommend and we shall be back! 😋“

“New to town. Checking out falafel in the area. Came upon The falafel guy on my walk home from YMCA. A small mostly take out joint with Mousa, the master, running the show. Don’t expect the fastest service because everything is made to order. Falafel was top notch. While you’re waiting, don’t be surprised if Mousa offers you a small cup of the soup he’s cooking for the day. His lentil soup was spiced just right and delicious. Prices are reasonable as well!“

“First time trying both the Chicken & Beef Doner Boxes.I was pleasantly surprised how GOOD everything was! The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. Finally, we have a Mediterranean place close to home. You have to come try this place and by the way they have an outdoor in the back where you can have hookah for those who are interested.“

“My husband and I went to Forefeathers tonight for dinner, it was excellent. The chicken tenders were delicious, the pink dipping sauce was very good. The chicken sandwich that my husband had to amazing! Coleslaw was delicious, plenty of sauce and pickles. Fries were excellent….definitely will go back.“

“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

We both got chix shawerma platters which comes with 2 sides. Heads up, they come with side salad, and we chose tabbouleh as one of the sides. Had we known about the side salad it came with already, we would have chosen a different side. We mentioned this to the gentleman at the register and he offered us another side. We got tzatziki and baba ghanoush! Both were delicious!!

Kudos to staff for offering, this is true hospitality.

“Sooooooo glad they’ve an outpost in my backyard. Tastes like the one on 54th, without the long line in the cold. Seriously how is this place always near empty, must be a lot of pick up/uber orders. Usually come here instead of Starbucks neck door if I wanna do some light work out my apt. Staff are super nice.“

“I’ve tried over a dozen Halal carts in the city, and this one has by far the best chicken over rice. Once you try it, you’ll go out of your way to come here every time you crave halal.

The chicken is juicy and always perfectly flavored and cooked. All ingredients are fresh. The sauces are great, and the red sauce is VERY spicy (love it)

The folks running it are super friendly and the cart is kept clean.

“I am a chicken girl and can completely without reservation recommend any and all chicken dishes and sandwiches on the menu. I have had them all over and over. Also the French fries and green salad. They are my go to usually twice a week.Believe the listed menu needs to be updated price wise but still the best deals in town. “My favorite halal cart. Everytime I got Steinway I go there. The food is always fresh, chicken and lamb always flavorful and a lot of veggies included too. He offers me a falafel while I wait everytime. The falafels are great too! Very friendly, highly recommend.“

“Finally some good halal in midtown east! I got the chicken over rice with extra white sauce, it was really hearty and delicious. The chickpeas are a nice touch. Very reasonably priced for the area ($9 as of 7/3/24) and they take Apple Pay which is convenient. Definitely adding this to my office lunch rotation!“

“I usually visit Dave’s Hot Chicken at 7th Ave Brooklyn.
This time we went so late that it was just 40 minutes left in closing and they had put all the tables and chairs away (means the dine in was closed already) but the girl at the counter was so nice that she not only allowed us to take the chairs and sit but also suggested us to rate them on app to get a free drink (everyone loves free stuff..right??)
The food and atmosphere is always always so good. We love to go there at least twice a month (as far from our place). Highly recommended especially if you are looking for some good halal food.“

“Just found it on the way to our hotel when we stop at dominoes pizza ,so I just enter the restaurant and order burns road chutney paratha roll and mayo garlic roll and falooda for me and my husband. And don’t regret at all . Amazing food. And having authentic falooda after so long. I must say falooda was actually the hit better than Toronto. (We are visiting newyork from toronto.) very near by to our uncle’s home. So we will definitely stop by next visit to newyork for falooda for sure.“

“It’s my first time trying here. I bought chicken pita wrap. It’s delicious, halal and very reasonably priced (8$). Portion is not big, so it’s better for somebody who wants a quick meal-snack. The hot sauce is really hot, don’t underestimate!“
