“I’ve never felt more at home in a restaurant than Deser B. And his team made me feel tonight. He was the most authenticly kind and hospitable person I’ve met in New York and needs to be promoted to running all of the stores the way he runs this one.
This was the most authentic Mexican taco in north America. Corn tortillas made in House for each order fresh. I tried all of the protein sources and every single one of them slapped. 20 out of 5 stars. I mean if you don’t go here while you are in town you are crazy.

Order three or four tacos -- carnitas, chicken tinga, shrimp, and al pastor are the best, in that order -- with spicy salsa, and a tamarind Jaritos. Talk to (and tip!) the two kind, hard-working people behind the counter, and let them know you'd like your food to stay. Eat immediately, at the small metal chairs outside. “I tried two kinds of tacos and thought they were absolutely delicious! The birria taco meat was tender and really flavorful and the dipping broth elevated it even more. I loved the grilled fish taco with an unexpected creamy spicy sauce on top. My friend had the chicken quesadilla and while that might seem boring and simple, the chicken was so tasty that it made a simple dish so much better.
