Crowded on weekend night- does tremendous take out business. Bring your own. Staff is friendly and eager to please.“

“This is my new favorite sushi restaurant. I’ve never been disappointed with any of the food I’ve gotten. My favorites are the salmon and tuna fashion rolls but everything is delicious. It’s small inside and I’ve never seen anyone eating there, but for takeout this is some of the best sushi in the area.“

“My experience at Morgan Steakhouse was nothing short of amazing.

From the moment you walk in, the restaurant is absolutely elegant with a beautiful Western-style feel. The menu truly has something for everyone from steaks, incredible surf-and-turf pizza, fresh sushi, and a steakhouse burger that is beyond delicious.

Sherry is an absolute doll, so sweet, welcoming, and passionate. She shared the history and vision behind Morgan’s, inspired by her extensive experience in the industry, and it truly shows in every detail. You can genuinely feel the heart behind it all.

The staff is professional, attentive, and they truly care about the guest experience. Our waiter, Gerardo, was outstanding!

This was my first time dining at Morgan’s, and I already know exactly what I’ll be trying next time😉

“The food is top notch. From the soup to the sushi. Even the ice cream is delicious. What really bothers me though is the service. There is a 90 minute time limit which I get but when you are rushed to get out by an hour that’s not right. Also when you’re hounding tables waiting to literally take a plate because you have nothing else to do that’s a problem. Finally when you’re coming up to tables and asking them for platters back because you don’t have enough supposedly that’s not good either. Last night I was hounded constantly. Twice I had people tell me to move my sushi to my paper plate because they needed the platter. May I suggest buying more platters. Love the food and yes I know I’ll be back but the service was ridiculous in your face. Don’t come here for date night because they don’t leave you alone“

“We had dinner at Matsu on Friday......its a little gem in Hillsdale. We were pleasantly surprised, by the quality and quantity of the food. The Staff went out of their way to accommodate us. They very friendly and warm. It was a most enjoyable dinner. We have ordered food to takeout but hadn't been inside the restaurant since the pandemic.... We will definitely go again soon. “Masa is our sushi place. It’s like home. We had to go to another sushi restaurant because masa was all booked up. I wanted to cry because these other places just don’t compare. “Wow! The fish is so fresh, and buttery, comparable to omakase without the price tag.

I usually don’t order sushi in the summer considering the heat, but this spot has such high quality fish that I’ve ordered 4 times this week in 98 degree weather.

The salmon pieces melt in your mouth, I dream of them.
The tamago is perfectly done, tender, and not too sweet.

The Triple Alliance roll was my favorite. The salmon was perfectly balanced with a bit of spice, sweet eel sauce, & refreshing mango.

Saddle River roll and spicy salmon rolls were also delightful, but a bit too much crunch for my taste.

In my opinion, the dressing that came with the garden salad, not that anyone gets sushi for the salad, needed a bit more ginger and sweetness.

So excited to have found my new go to sushi spot.“

“Really good sushi and a cute vibe on the inside. They have some pretty creative sushi options too like ones with Thai chilies and pesto?? I wasn't sure how I felt about the pesto on sushi when I tried it but I appreciate the creativity nonetheless. Would love to see one for people who really like spicy food. Also appreciate they have clear soup, one of my favs.
