Bourbon slushy is a must! I’m not typically a burbon drinker but the flavors within this drink mix together so well.Bread pudding desert was average.R bar is a hidden gem in Asbury Park.“
“Best dinner, drinks and dessert! The food was amazing. We were a party of four and ordered multiple dishes to try. Everything we had was delish! The tostadas, lamb, duck and ceviche were all on point and delicious. The dessert special with yuca and pistachio ice cream was spectacular. The Tequilla Cream was a great drink to top off dessert. The whole table got one and love it!“
“This place is definitely worth trying. Every time we go there, I get something different, and they never disappoint. The owner, Anthony, is very sweet and personable. He greets and chats with everyone who dines there. His staff is great as well.“
“Wow! We may have found our new favorite place! Oceanside, veranda seating was warm and cozy, even in the rain. Highly recommend. The entire staff provided superb service and everyone we encountered was accommodating, genuinely friendly and on point. The star of the show, however was the food!! Huge portions, every entree was delicious and the meatball appetizer is a must have! We can't wait to return! Thanks for a wonderful evening!“
“I've been here many times and thought I had reviewed it in the past. The bread was divine- crunchy on the outside, warm & soft on the inside. The sangria was ok. The eggplant rollatini was scrumptious. The mozzarella sticks were OK. The accompanying marinara sauce was wonderful. The lasagna didn't have enough sauce, but it as good nonetheless. It tasted like the inside of the ravioli was unseasoned, and the sauce did not taste as well as the marinara that accompanied the mozzarella sticks. The tiramisu was very good and authentic. The service was immaculate.“
“Rods is a great spot for casual coastal dining. The food is consistently tasty, and they offer a reasonable menu of gluten-free free options for those with diet restrictions that don't leave you stuck with a basic salad or plain chicken (something not many places offer). It may not have the most eclectic menu, but there is certainly something for everyone (even kids!).The atmosphere is great for a casual date night or dinner with your family. Stop by on the weekends during warm weather to enjoy the heated deck with a delicious beverage.Overall, it's our go-to for dinner with the inlaws or a night out when I can't convince myself to cook or clean dishes .. my husband never turns down a night at Rods, ladies. ?“
“My absolute favorite place in Lavallette. The food is always SO good (and elevated beyond!) the ambience is great. Sitting outside in the summer is the best. They also have outdoor seating in the fall and winter with heat lamps. They offer live music a lot. They are kid friendly. Great menu options. Good cocktails, great selection of beers. The service is great. Cannot say enough good things about Castaways, a great addition to the area!“
“Hi, I decided to bring my son who was visiting - it was his last night before going back to Georgia. He is picky with restaurants because where he lives, they have phenomenal chiices. Trust me he absolutely loved his meal. In fact, he text me yesterday that when he comes back to visit, he must come back to this restaurant early in his visit! I have another friend that's a very picky eater and he loves La Dolce Vita - that's saying something trust me!! La Dolce Vita is an excellent restaurant. The food is fantastic consistently and absolutely always over the years I've come here.“
“Sinners Steakhouse provided a delightful dining experience this past St. Patrick's Day weekend. The ambiance was charming, with the live band, bagpipe player, and dancers. I recommend the truffle fry’s and Jameson Wings. Despite the busy holiday crowd, the staff remained attentive and courteous throughout the evening. I highly recommend Sinners Steakhouse for a memorable dining experience.“
“Yes, the food, quality, choices, taste, presentation were great. Excellent service and ambience. Only negative, noticed when I check the bill when I got home was that the prices charged did not match the menu prices on several items. A couple of dollars more on each. Maybe an outdated menu.“
“Came here with a group of 6 after a performance at the Algonquin Theatre (already wrote the review). The place was packed and I am thankful that they were able to accomodate my request to change my reservation t 5pm from 6pm! Starting off with their excellent bread, spices and olive oil gave us time to decide on entrees. Two of us went with the Pork Chop Murphy (Pan seared bone in chop with plenty of Murphy sauce with onions, mushrooms, hot & sweet cherry peppers and potatoes), Two went with Chicken Mirtilli & Gorganzola (carmelized shallots, sun dried cranberries and sweet gorganzola and a Sherry-Balsamic deniglaze. Add to that a Veal and Chicken Parmigiana with pasta and Shrimp Scampi with pasta. Shared desserts consisted of Apple Crum Pie a la mode and Chocolate cake. Both were terrific! The restaurant is BYOB and reservations are recommended at all times. As an aside, their take out area was extremely busy.“
