“So good! Came here with my friend for dinner; I ordered shrimp tempura sushi (which was absolutely delicious), and my friend ordered miso ramen (seen in picture). When we first started coming here, my body was still a toddler, now he is in graduate school, this place is still an old reliable stand-by. The setting is not the fanciest but either is the price. Even after COVID, the price change has really been very reasonable. The same family runs this restaurant seems like forever. There has to be a reason a Chinese restaurant can survive for twenty years with the same ownership. The food is well seasoned, with pleasant texture, and served fast. “House of Wong is absolutely serving up delicious food and the high praising reviews did not lie. I was in their establishment for maybe an hour and I witnessed at least 20 people come in to pick up take out orders. In my opinion, that speaks on the quality of food. The fried pork dumplings are flavorful, the pork egg roll is as big as the plate it's served on. The pepper steak was tender and sauced well with a ton of peppers and onions. The rice was good and fluffy. The service was good, even though there appears to be one server for the 4 tables that were seated. I wish they would have spread out the tables a little bit because we were seated right in the middle and it was a little noisy. The ice cold water was good and always refilled without asking. It was an hour drive but in my opinion, it was well worth it and delicious. I would take the adventure again to try something new. Thank you.Vegetarian options: My friend is vegetarian and had to ask about a sauce served on a vegetarian dish and it was fish sauce so make sure to ask about what's in the sauces. “First time here and brought 20 of my closest family members for Saturday dim sum. We had a really good experience overall. The food, the service and the family friendly atmosphere was great! My family and I have been eating dim sum for many decades and all agreed that Green Lake has dishes we've never had before. The aunties made sure to drop by every couple of minutes to ensure we had everything that we wanted while the waiters made sure our tea pots were always refilled.“

Ordered the pork belly baos, pork soup dumplings and beef noodles. The pork belly in the baos was flavorful and tender. The boas themselves were pillowy soft and it came with crushed peanuts. It was a good bao except I felt like it could use some sort of pickled vegetable to cut the richness. The pork soup dumplings were steamy and filled with a good amount of soup. I wish the soup was a little more flavorful but the meat itself was tasty and the skin was nice and thin. The beef noodles were full of flavor and came with tender beef and fresh noodles and veggies. Overall this is a solid option for Shanghainese food. The prices aren't bad and everything tasted pretty authentic and like it was made fresh.“

“We love ordering from Ocean Garden and do it weekly when our daughter takes dance class. The owners are super friendly, and the food is always fresh, hot and delicious. The price too is super reasonable, hands down our fav Chinese takeout spot in NJ. It’s authentic too, I am Chinese myself and I appreciate the effort they put into the food. “We tried the China Wok for take out yesterday - the lady that answers the phone is quite helpful and pleasant and repeats your order back to you. There were 3 chefs cooking when I picked up the order. We got egg drop soup, crab meat fried rice WHICH WAS EXCELLENT and the shrimp egg foo young (3 patties with white rice and brown gravy). Also delicious! We will be returning ... I want to try their dumplings next and sweet and sour dish! “Everything was exceptional. Scallion pancakes were perfectly crispy. Dumplings cooked perfect and tasty. I normally don’t order sesame chicken because many places over-bread it. Their sesame chicken are big pieces of white meat with no breading. This is our new go to Chinese restaurant.“
