“Second baptism brunch I've attended here. The staff and food the last time were incredible but the staff this time were above and beyond incredible!! The food was very good and the place was extremely clean! Only issue I had was they put salad on top of each meal after serving a salad to start the meal. Didn't make much sense to me. But I still highly recommend this place!!! Too bad I could only give 5 stars to the service as it deserves 10!!!“

“Good place to eat, located on the main street in the city of Maplewood. Outside there are several tables and chairs to sit in the summer. The atmosphere is good and the service too. The food served is satisfactory to the customer's taste.“

“HLS is an absolute true gem! The wraps are not only healthy but incredibly tasty, with the perfect balance of fresh ingredients and bold flavors. My favorite is the chicken cheesesteak with a side of sweet potato fries. Every bite feels like it’s made with care, and I love the variety they offer—you can’t go wrong no matter what you choose. The smoothies are out of this world too—smooth, refreshing, and made with the best fruits. I come here for lunch everytime I'm in town for work because the food is consistently amazing, and it keeps me energized for the rest of the day. “Jeff made us feel at home! I originally came in from Brooklyn, NY to come visit a friend out in Jersey! My first time here felt like I’ve been here before. Jeff recommended some special sauces to us for the wings and it stands out compared to other places. We allowed us to taste test a hot sauce, which wasn’t just hot, but flavorful as well! He held wonderful conversations with us and was able to relate to us in a lot of ways. His engagement made us want to come back! I’ll be here once again if I find myself around town again. “Had a few hours to kill before my flight at EWR. Looked up restaurants near the airport, found this and I’m so glad I did. Friendly staff, delicious Beyond Burger wrap w sweet potato tots, and a deeeeelish freshly made strawberry lemonade. Highly recommend! I’m keeping this place in my fav saves. If I’m ever back in Newark NJ I’m def stopping back. That drink was so perfect for the hot day!“

“New Providence Bar and Kitchen was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. We came for lunch and immediately the staff made us feel very welcome. The menu, from the drinks to the entrees, put a fun spin on familiar dishes—just enough to be unique without deviating too much from traditional favorites. The calamari appetizer with chili peppers and capers was the best I’ve ever had— flavors were amazing. The Parmesan-crusted salmon was also tasty and my wife loved her meal too. “Highly recommend! We had our wedding at Galloping Hill Golf Course in the summer of 2025. The day was everything we could have hoped for and everything went so smooth! We worked with Emily throughout the process and she was great to communicate with. Any questions were answered right away. We wanted a venue that had both inside and outdoor options and loved that it had a covered patio for use all night. Ellis was our day of coordinator and both of our bridal attendants made the day run so smooth. Our guests loved cocktail hour and dinner. There was a great amount of food we went with the seafood station, pasta, Brazilian, and Chinese. We also did the breakfast sandwiches to go for the end of the night! The golf course made great photo backgrounds as well. We had the best time and would do it all over again if we could!“

With an assorted buffet menu and a live band, our members had a memorable evening in the private room of Tavern 73. The cash bar was very busy, and people raved about the food as they left this 4-hour event. Special thanks to Kaya and Gail for the excellent job they did to help to organize and execute this event. “Terrific and nostalgic fare. Got Turkey club for my meal with their delicious French fries. The sandwich was good enough to conquer my hunger and I only ate half. Took home the leftovers. My husband had the classic burger with French fries and it was huge and cooked to perfection. He said it was juicy and full of flavor with all the toppings. We both liked that the French fries came in a metal cup container because it kept the temperature longer which allowed us to eat them warm. I chose the green tea iced tea and thought it was perfectly not too sweet. Hubby got plain iced tea and it was unsweetened and terrific too. Prices are comparable to the area with tip just under $60.“

“We chose Paragon Tap and Table to meet up with great friends who had moved out of state. Hadn't seen them in a year and it was the perfect setting! Service was excellent, from our arrival, thru dinner and even as we were leaving. Staff and managers were all present and engaged in making our dining experience the best it could be. Food was great. The table had fried calamari, a burger with fries, fish tacos and surf & turf tacos. All were delicious. Desserts were far from boring and we devoured them! Beers with dinner were equally good! A great evening all around! Highly recommend!“
