“We had such a great experience at Wonder in Livingston! We ordered the fried chicken sandwich from Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson with the seasoned chips, and everything was delicious. The chicken was hot, fresh, and juicy, and the chips had so much flavor. Prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was really nice for dining in, and our food came out super quickly.

We’ve also ordered takeout from other restaurants inside Wonder in the past and have always had a great experience. It’s such a convenient option for families since everyone can order from different places all in one order. Definitely recommend!“

“I decided to check this place out because it was close to where my sister lives haha. She's never been there before, and it was her birthday. I was a little worried because I wasn't sure of how big this place was and what kind of offerings they would have. Their menu, however, is extensive. So many options. We got a paella-like dish, chicharrone, a fried mariscoes appetizer, a steak dish, a chicken dish, a limeade, a purple sweet potatoes drink.. and a sample of pastries on top of the birthday tort.. a very good experience, and a very accommodating and patient staff . I highly recommend this place ! ! And I plan on coming back sooner rather than later ! !“

“My wife and I decided to stop by there today for our 1st time ever and try their Breakfast. The place is very cozy, clean and very nice looking inside. The owner was very friendly and is true to his heritage. I had the Lomo al jugo con pan- so delicious with amazing flavor. My wife had un tamal de pollo- nice size portion and delicious. Can wait to go back 5 ++++ Stars from us.“

“Absolutely incredible experience! The food was fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavor. Every dish had that perfect balance of seasoning that Peruvian cuisine is known for. The ceviche was bright and delicious, the lomo saltado was cooked perfectly, and the sauces were out of this world.

The service was fast, warm, and genuinely welcoming — you can tell the staff takes pride in what they do. The restaurant itself was clean, stylish, and had a great atmosphere.

Overall, one of the best Peruvian meals I’ve ever had. Highly recommended, and definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!“

“We ate in complete silence. The food was that good.


- The chicken was so moist and packed so much flavor. Even the breast was super moist.
- The green sauce that they gave with the chips was also a hit. We went through two batches of it in one sitting, lol
- The salad and dressing were balanced, simple, and fresh.
- The salchipapa (fries with sausage and dressing) was one of our favorite dishes. Really simple with punchy flavor. Fries were nice and crispy despite being loaded with stuff.
- We had a purple corn beverage that was also so tasty


- Our server was so sweet and friendly!


- Humble, colorful, friendly atmosphere
- The only reason I subtracted 1 star was because the photos on the menu were digitally staged, making them hard to read

“I was in town to visit to see cats at Rahway Kitty Hall. This restaurant is right next store. I stopped into get something to eat. I was impressed with the ambience of the restaurant. My Spanish is not so great, but the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The food I had was very good. I am interested in people from other cultures and their food. I will surely go there again and try another dish.“

“Good food, limited communication due to the staff have limited English. The dining area was small, very crowded. Food served pretty fast eventhough they need to redo my order because the waiter took the wrong order. Overall foods are delicious.“

“The food is amazing , I’ve tried many Peruvian spots in the Elizabeth / linden / Rahway areas and this place has the best of them all , great flavor to the food the portions are big and it’s affordable , only bad side is that they never answer the phone which is a huge issue because you have to go in person to order which is very time consuming. “This beautiful small cozy Peruvian restaurant has Real Authentic Peruvian dishes that you cannot replicate anywhere else. The owners were super cordial and kind. Excellent conversation starters while respecting your space while eating. The food was phenomenal and the portions are super reasonable and enough to fill even 2 people. “Love this place! Brought my family here for the first time now knowing exactly what to expect. First off, the waiters were very friendly! The menu has ALOT to choose from. And their portion size was ALOT bigger than expected! We ordered the seafood ceviche, Lomo saltado, and the beef heart bbq (anticuchos)- and it was DELICIOUS! We were even eyeing the food that the other customers had ordered talking about how good it looked. And FYI their crispiness is on a whole nother level. The restaurant is tiny inside but they do have enough tables if you prefer to eat inside. I’m not sure what the theme or culture of the place is, all I know it’s hispanic. If you’re in the neighborhood come check this place out!“

“The food here is very good! The price is reasonable for the amount of food they give you. The service is fast! I usually go during my lunchtime and enjoy their arroz chofa with a natural juice. The last at the register is a very sweet girl and the owner is also extremely nice.
