“I was here when they first opened. it was not really "for me". Recently tried it again and loved it. I am vegetarian and my friend is vegan. we found options. Really enjoyed the eggplant sandwich. Would love more options (saw on one of the burger challenges a portobello on a burger, so loose the beef and just do the portobello) then I would definitely be there more often. Plan to check out the events that they have in the winter. So nice to have a quality and nice place locally to go out to at night.“

“The mango special roll with shrimp tempura was a little slimy because mango was very ripe and cut into small slices which were falling off the roll. It was ok not great. I did not care at all for the consistency of the chicken in the noodles dish. I ate around the meat and just ate the noodles.“

“We had lunch on Saturday afternoon. I would rate the food as pretty good, and better than Red Lobster which is right across Rt. 18. However the presentation of the food leaves a good deal to be desired. They serve on paper strays with plastic spoons. Paper would be fine if it was of a higher / thicker quality. The plastic utensils would also be fine if they weren’t of the kiddie party variety. The We had soft shelled crab, fried shrimp and catfish with boiled Cajun pototes and French fries. All of the food was good, neither over cooked not undercooked. The soft shell carb was pretty good. What was annoying was that the (soupy) boiled potato(s) side dish was served in a Saran Wrap baggie tied in a knot and put in the same paper tray with the fried soft shell crab. It was hard to tear it open without spilling the contents all over the table. However the side dish potatoes were good. The problem was the plating. The French fries were also good, neither overcooked nor undercooked and tender. While the food is good you and the restaurant is decently decorated, you get the impression that they have a very very tight budget for necessities as in utensils, plates and trays. Nevertheless we will eat there again or have their food delivered. They do not have a delivery service so you must use Uber or Doordash.“

“Long time patrons but Blue Water has gone downhill over the last several years as far as seafood choices and food taste. Seafood Fra Diavolo ordered medium was tasteless and calamari were the Shop n Stop frozen rings. Key Lime pie slice the size for a mouse maybe and tasteless, no presentation like back in the day. Another “ former “ old time patron sitting next to us was furious as his swordfish was maybe 1/4” thick. We both agreed never to visit Blue Water again. We both remembered when it was the best ! My spouse and I were customers when the place would be packed now 4 tables only at 6:30pm ( guessing others feel the same) and long gone is the special menu had lobster cakes, halibut, monk fish , red snapper etc. Sadly and honestly not even better than a pizza restaurant but 3x the price. Bye Blue Water Seafood .“

“We order from here all of the time they are always fresh and today we ordered churros and it came as strawberry churros and strawberry ice cream for Valentine’s Day! It was such a nice surprise! I love eating in the establishment but we often order through door dash and they are always perfect“

“First time here and great experience! Outdoor dining only. Food is unbelievably fresh and tasty! The porta potties are upgraded bathrooms and surprisingly clean. Off street parking but not bad. Outdoor patio is going to be extended over the dunes for 2025. Can't wait to go back next summer!“

“First time eating at Umi but it definitely will not be the last time. This place is heaven to anyone who loves Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Sushi, or American fast foods, and desserts. The best thing is its all you eat. Btw, this is the first restaurant Asian or American that has a sign that reads: TWO HOUR limit on consuming food. Two hours is a long time to be eating. After six trips to the buffet dishes and one hour's time my party of five and I were full and couldn't eat any more. This buffet offered the most diverse sushi bar I've ever seen. Umi also offered a few dishes never seen at other Asian buffets. Umi offers an array of foods, and is now my favorite Chinese Asian buffet/restaurant“

“Our server Steve (bald guy) was incredibly attentive and kind. The dine-in experi3nce was nice and clean. The food was honestly some of the best chinese food I have had. I don't know how the ratings are not higher for this place. The chicken wings were some of my favorite fried wings that I've had. They were big, flavorful, cooked to perfection, and had a hint of spice. The shrimp and broccoli was delicious and the shrimp were big. We also had egg foo yung and my mom loved it. The only criticism I would have is that I would want more soy sauce on the rice for flavor, but even that was a small thing. I would rate this place a 4.7 out of 5. I live about an hour away but if I'm in the are again, I would definitely make it a point to stop here. Loved the food, service, and the place itself.
