“With a name as generic as Bagel Shop in NYC, you better be good. Any concerns regarding quality were quickly dispelled when we walked through the door. The place was packed. We ordered a very basic selection of bagels and assorted spreads, nothing fancy. Overall, the food was great and the coffee was too...piping hot which is a plus. This is clearly a solid local spot with a well deserved reputation. We are glad we visitied and would return.“

I purchased here a few times via the TGTG app and purchased bagels and their delicious home made assorted flavor cream cheeses. Always hits the spot and revives me! The bagels are consistently perfect, soft and delicious, my favorite is pumpernickel but their egg everything is also great. I go with SEC +avocado and hashbrown, SPK. The portions are always great and loaded. And lastly, can't beat their prices! We love Henry's!“

“This has to be one of the Best bagel stores in NJ. Eric and Christie are amazing owners and everything is made fresh, including the variety of Cream cheeses they offer. Have to try the sundried tomato cream cheese, it is a favorite. The staff are friendly and pleasant and very efficient in what they do. I call ahead my order being they are always busy. Don't be surprised if when you arrive there is a line out the door, they are that good. 👍“

“I always get great service in this place. The food is fantastic (especially for the price). Their salads are made fresh on the spot... they cut everything fresh as they need em... they don't store the lettuce pre cut in tubs like most restaurants do. This is just an example of what sets Ben's apart from most places. I also had a mocha ice coffee which was definitely made with love! The best was the stuffed bagel which was loaded with cream cheese, cheddar and swiss cheese, butter garlic, bacon and a fried egg!!! A huge thank you to Mudy, the owner, for his hospitality! Since it was my first time here a French toast muffin made in house was given to me as a courtesy. Which was very kind! The muffin was so moist, had great flavor, the texture of the muffin top was light and crisp as well! This bagel shop has amazing prices! “I stopped in on a whim because I was in the neighborhood. I got 4 bagels for the family and the veggie cream cheese. Fresh, excellent top-tier bagels! Black Russian and Egg! Plain! All delicious. We're all lucky in NJ that most bagels we can get are at least okay, but these were a cut above! And the cream cheese was delicious and fresh - vegetables still had a little crunch!

Also, I appreciate that they discourage people coming in and just buying up all the bagels. In the 5 minutes I was in there, lots of people popped in, clearly regulars, for their breakfast. It definitely felt like a go-to place in the community and they make sure they can be open to serve as many as possible. That's cool. I look forward to returning!“

“I come here every time I come to NYC. It's my favorite spot in the city. Today they had too much brown sugar cinnamon butter so they gave me some extra free. While I waited for my order, they gave some other people free bagels twhile they waited. You can watch them make the bagels fresh just behind the counter.“

Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

“I stopped into Knead a Bagel this morning and had to leave a review because it was honestly one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Rima offered to make me a special lox bagel, and wow was it good. I’ve had a lot of lox bagels, but this was genuinely the best one I’ve ever had. Everything was perfectly balanced.. the right amount of lox, cream cheese, and toppings. Nothing was overwhelming and nothing was lacking. Every bite was perfect.

What really stood out, though, was Rima herself. She was so sweet, friendly, and welcoming. You can tell she cares about the food she’s making and the people she’s serving. She completely made my morning and turned a quick breakfast stop into something memorable.

Great food is one thing, but great food made by genuinely kind people is what keeps you coming back. Thank you, Rima, for the amazing bagel and for starting my day off on such a good note. I’ll definitely be back!“

“this place is absolutely money! all the people working here are awesome and incredibly efficient. no matter how crowded it is i never have to wait longer than 5 minutes for my order. i make it a point to come in at least once a week for my sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel. they have a great selection of grab and go food and drinks as well. i seriously cannot recommend this place enough! stop in and grab a bite. you won’t be disappointed!“

“I tried the famous bagel with salmon, chicken soup, ice cream, and coffee. The ice cream was delicious and, most importantly, not too sweet!!! I especially loved the frozen yogurt, and the coffee was really good too. During my two weeks in NYC, I ended up coming back several times just for the ice cream. Definitely worth a try!“
