“Seek Coffee is a true find! I stopped in expecting a great coffee, but the baked empanadas were the real surprise. The chicken empanada was soft and warm, with the perfect texture not dry like other places. It was so fresh and flavorful, I couldn’t get enough! Pairing it with their strawberry lemonade was a treat refreshing and just the right touch of sweetness.

“I saw this place while driving . I wanted to try authentic Yemeni coffee. I tried Sana’ani coffee which is medium roast coffee with cardamom. I enjoyed this exotic taste. Store is clean and comfortable. Staff is knowledgeable about coffee. They offer authentic Yemeni desserts and America and desserts. They also nice selection of exotic teas.“

My gf and I ordered a slice of Banana Walnut Bread, Spearmint Hot Tea, Iced Passionfruit Black Tea and Kouign-amann. Johan was quite friendly explaining different coffee beans as he roasted them and brews the coffee. I tried the espresso as well brewed from 3 different beans, very tasty. Now this is our favorite place to have coffee when traveling to NYC. We talked with local customers, so good vibes and recommendations. Awesome place if you love good coffee.“

“Bluestone is a gold standard for brekkie fare on the UWS. While the service is spotty (definitely expect a long wait on weekends between 9-12:30 pm), and the menu has changed (why did they remove the folded eggs from the menu?), Bluestone has a friendly, cozy vibe. Waitstaff like Joseph are always welcoming and go out of their way to make sure their customers leave happy.

“This is a pleasant addition to town, and obviously quite popular. I only gave 2 stars for food because despite having a collection of 3 nondairy milks (75 cent upcharge not appreciated!) there is not a single food item a vegan or person with dairy issues can eat. Also, the only place you can sit and work on a device is the big table, which is usually full. Every other sitting area has tables that are the same height or lower than the chairs/stools so really not back friendly. Service is good and nice minimalist vibe-- will be back!

Response to owner: Regarding vegan pastries, if they are indeed vegan (dairy, egg, butter honey free) then why not label them as such or at least put up a little sign that says ask us about our vegan options?“

“We pulled off the highway for a coffee and stumbled upon this gem. The pastry menu is filled with unique items and great flavor combinations. I had the ube pan de sal and the Kashmir cardamom latte with oat milk. I absolutely love both! The location seemed surprising at first, it’s located in a larger office complex, but inside it feels comfortable with warm lighting and plenty of seating. They also sell records and prepared wraps and desserts. Check it out if you’re in the area! I will be sure to stop by next time I’m passing through.“

Coffee is smooth, food is good with a range that will satisfy everyone from breakfast food people to healthier "bowl" option people. Pastries --- the danishes really shine, and I really like the current seasonal Napoleon pie! Good balance of cream and raspberries --- and real proper raspberries without a ton of filler ingredients (of course, if you prefer custard-heavy or jam, this isn't going to hit the spot for you like it did for me).“

The coffee in the affogato was great but didn’t care much for the ice cream that was used, may be they should consider changing the brand they use. “I stumbled upon this inviting hidden spot on my way to work, and I'm so glad I did! The incredible smell of bacon coming from this cozy café was impossible to resist. As I stepped inside, I was warmly greeted by the staff and immediately felt at home.

The atmosphere is inviting and intimate, with a lovely corner dedicated to instruments which I discovered they host live music events on Saturdays.

I ordered the bacon egg and cheese sandwich, and it was nothing short of delicious.
