“I went here two weeks ago, very good food, I enjoyed my steak a lot, but there are couple things that I will point out, the music definitely must be more loud, you could barely hear anything it created the weird atmosphere since I could hear all what others around me are talking about, second thing they should inform you that the food will take a while go get ready, it definitely was worth it but just the server should be aware to inform us that it will be an hour wait for the food, also you can bring your own bottle of wine which is great!“

“I enjoy tasting empanadas from all types of places. Empanada Mama is by far the best of any place I’ve ever tasted!! The portions were stunning, the food was full of flavor, the menu is large, and the dessert empanadas are just as amazing as the savory ones! “Great Peruvian restaurant! I've eaten Peruvian food several times, and I appreciate their elevated presentation and flavors. I saw some reviews speak of slow service. I don't know if that occurs during certain times, but I found the service to be excellent. Maybe the management saw the reviews and took action--if so, kudos to a responsive correction! Great food, excellent service, and beautiful atmosphere.“

“So I came here for my birthday dinner and at first I did not want to eat there since I thought it will be a party vibe, but the lounge area wasn’t open. Which I get it since it was a Wednesday. But the Chef did not want us to leave disappointed, he did it all (Champagne, birthday sign, food, shots) all at a discounted price. & let me tell u the food did not disappoint. It was delicious! I was overwhelmed with his generosity. He really made my night special. And something I will always remember. Keep Being the kind person u are Wilmer. Good things will definitely come to u. “Aroma de Cafe is a wonderful spot whether you're stopping in for breakfast or coffee with friends. I ordered the Colombian breakfast with scrambled eggs, arepa, and fresh cheese, plus a cappuccino that was perfectly made. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The bakery case was full of tempting pastries, the staff was welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere made it easy to relax.“

“I tried this restaurant yesterday and really enjoyed it! I especially loved their lunch special—the portions were generous, and the food was great. The lunch special includes your choice of protein, two sides, and soup or salad, which I thought was a great value. They also have a nice variety of protein and side options to choose from.
Overall, a great lunch spot with good food, generous portions, and plenty of choices. I’d definitely come back!“

“We always enjoy the food and drinks here. Luisa was a great waitress and we had a nice time there. The chicken champignon (mushroom sauce) was delicious and loaded with mushrooms. Great classic margaritas for under $10 with lunch. ❤️“

I had to adventure all the way to Uptown Manhattan🗽on a rumor, fully prepared to be disappointed. “I came here for my birthday! I had such a great time! The drinks were really good! The food was very very delicious. “The decor at this morsel of Costa Rican culture is aesthetically pleasing and if you’re in the area, this is one of the better Tico spots. We watched Costa Rica beat Paraguay in a Copa America game while eating pupusas, un Casado and Tacos Ticos and totally hit the spot. Especially since they served some salsa Lizano on the side.“

“What a great place! Passed by here once and our daughter’s name is Madison so I thought it would be fun to try out. Made a reservation for Mother’s Day, probably not the best day to try a new place. We showed up for our 12:15 reservations and despite the mob scene outside, our table was waiting. The food and service were spectacular on a busy day. I can’t wait to come back on a normal day. I had the cauliflower tacos. Amazing, as good as they look in the picture. Wife and daughter had omelettes with salad and potatoes. Neither could finish! Not sure if I can post photos“
“One of my favorite restaurants! I’ve been here several times and I always have a great experience. The place is beautiful, the atmosphere is great, and the service is excellent. They have a great variety of food, everything tastes fresh, and the drinks are delicious.
It’s a great spot whether you’re going with a small group or a larger group. They also have a bakery section with different options, which is a nice plus. My personal favorite is the beef cachapa — definitely something I recommend trying!
I highly recommend making a reservation, especially if you’re going with a group. Definitely one of my favorite places!“

“Had a great experience at Mesón Criollo in Ridgefield Park. This is the kind of place that really gives you that authentic, home-cooked Dominican food experience. The portions are generous, the food is flavorful, and there’s a great variety of traditional dishes to choose from.
I really liked seeing all the different options, from mofongo and empanadas to sancocho, different rice dishes, meats, seafood, and Dominican breakfast favorites. Everything has that comforting, homemade feel that makes you want to come back and try something different next time.
The owner was also a pleasure to talk to. I really enjoyed our conversation, and you can tell there’s genuine pride in the food and in the restaurant.
Overall, Mesón Criollo is a great local spot in Ridgefield Park for authentic Dominican and Latin American food. Great portions, traditional flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out!“

“Looks can be deceiving, because when I first walked in it was a little underwhelming. The quality of food here, however, is exceptional and noteworthy. Everything was fresh, high quality, and seasoned to perfection. This time, I got Jalea and it did not disappoint. And, it’s enough for 2 unless you are a lumberjack or pro athlete. I wasn’t even hungry but finished everything and held back from licking the plate. Now I need to start walking. Highly, highly recommend!“
