“We’ve become “regulars” at this wonderful restaurant, soon after they became kosher. We visit regularly, and get takeout pretty often. The food is great! It’s consistent and just SO tasty. And the staff… Absolutely terrific!!!“

“Had a really lovely visit today to Pappardello. We’ve been many times, but today when we arrived, we learned they had a new chef who had recreated the menu. We really enjoyed the brunch style items they added (my husband had Florentine Benedict and I had the French toast) and Chef Alexander brought out tastes of a few other new dishes for us. It’s clear he’s very committed and passionate to his work, and we are excited to enjoy the new version of Pappardello!“

“Was impressed with the decor, service and food. The BBQ burger was cooked perfectly! Made with fresh meat (not frozen formed patty) - not sure whst the English would be but I know it in Yiddish as “hockfleish.” The BBQ sauce added to the taste of the meat without being overpowering and the onion, pickle, lettuce and the challah bun were all extremely fresh. Looking forward to coming back snd trying the other choices!“

“This kosher restaurant serves very good food, with a focus on quality ingredients and careful preparation. While the portions may be a bit smaller than expected, the flavors are complex and satisfying. A bit more noodles would add some welcome heft to the dish. The atmosphere is equally impressive, with a cozy and intimate setting that makes it perfect for special occasions.“

“We had lunch at the new restaurant in Highland Park. We had the falafel plate which had great flavor and was very filling. My sister had a slice of pizza which she said was really good. The new place is a vast improvement over the old store in East Brunswick.“

“Had a Fantastic experience with customer service, as i was looking for some suggestions on a fairly large order for a kids class presentation. The owner and her staff member, who was on a break, kept giving great suggestions as to how to best package the items i was thinking about. The cookies and pastries were very tasty, a total hit with the school! --- Will be coming back for more for sure.“

“I reached out to Bovelas last minute after I realized that through all the crazy planning of my 25th party, I completely forgot about my cake! I contacted them about a week and a half before my party, super nervous that I was too close and they wouldn’t be able to do it. They excitedly took my order and shared how much they loved the idea for my Brazilian carnival themed birthday. Not only did they make me feel super confident that they would execute my idea perfectly, but they guaranteed that they’d be able to get it done on time. I am super grateful to Bobby the baker and the team over at Bovelas for adding such a special and personalized aspect to my party that was literally the cherry on top of the cake ! lol. Everyone loved my cake and my cupcakes and I’m still here eating my cake two days post party.“
