“I'm so grateful that the original owners are back. I take the train to NY weekly, and get my morning breakfast and sometimes my lunch. Coffee is fresh, many choices for bagels and the fillings. The sandwiches are amazing. More so by the newest worker AJ. His sandwiches are the best and almost looks too good to eat. I was not happy with the previous owner, but I'm glad once again. Thank you Marty, Diana and AJ.“

“I stopped in on a whim because I was in the neighborhood. I got 4 bagels for the family and the veggie cream cheese. Fresh, excellent top-tier bagels! Black Russian and Egg! Plain! All delicious. We're all lucky in NJ that most bagels we can get are at least okay, but these were a cut above! And the cream cheese was delicious and fresh - vegetables still had a little crunch!

Also, I appreciate that they discourage people coming in and just buying up all the bagels. In the 5 minutes I was in there, lots of people popped in, clearly regulars, for their breakfast. It definitely felt like a go-to place in the community and they make sure they can be open to serve as many as possible. That's cool. I look forward to returning!“

“Located on Millburn Avenue in Short Hills, New Jersey, Bagel Pantry offers breakfast sandwiches and approximately 15 types of bagels and a few other items. The plain bagel was fresh and the cream cheese very high quality. Take out is popular, while others take a break at the 8 or so small tables. The lighting is somewhat dreary, and the ceiling and walls perhaps worn, but the service was pleasant and the prices certainly reasonable.“

“We visited the place last Saturday. The cheese bread is fresh but not really the bagels we got. We waited so long ; we found out that my daughter’s order was given to someone else but they did not care to replace it at once. When we asked about our order, that’s the time they rushed to prepare it , in less than five minutes, the sandwich was handed to us. When we were in the car since we’re already late for our next appointment, my daughter found out that the replacement was wrong. She paid for plain bagel with double eggs, bacon, and cheese but she was given with plain bagel with cheese only. They asked for our phone number but did not initiate the call. I hope they will do better in their team work.“

Don’t be fooled by the diverse menu because everything on it is a HIT! I may or may not have shed a tear when the delivery guy got here.“

“Its rare that you find an establishment that absolutely kills it in service quality and food quality. I've ordered online here a number of times--usually during Mother's Day, birthday, and New Years day. The bagels were good especially the asiago flavor. The smoothie chillers are top notch. Same goes with the fruit platter, presented in a color block that screams detail. Unlike some grocery grade platters, the fruit seems ripe and sweet. Their specialty cream cheeses are good just a notch below Philadelphia's lmaooo. The manager and staff were very pleasant and Im glad I braved the snow to visit the shop New Years day.“

“Great breakfast bagels, flagels, bialys, and more! Every morning made fresh, savory, and delicious. Food is consistent. Customer service is on point. A family run shop. They treat you with love and respect. Like you’re walking into grandma’s kitchen. Great sense of humor. Best part (besides the great food) is that if you call like 10 min ahead, they’ll have it ready for you when you come in. No wait time! As a Montville resident, I will always be back!“

The girls in the kitchen are always very friendly, but the older woman at the cash register always seems to be in a bad mood and has a terrible attitude.
