“A 8/10 bagel place. Probably in the top 5 of bagel places in North Jersey. I highly recommend anyone new to this area or traveling from other states to check them out. Here is what i ordered:

I got an Asiago Bagel with bacon egg and cheese. The egg was cooked nicely and they are very generous to the portions when it comes to the bacon. The bagel was pretty big, all the flavors complimented each other well and it was very fulfilling. I felt like i got what i paid for.

I also got a panini bacon egg and cheese. The bread was burned, had to scrape off the burned pieces off of the bread, the bacon was alo burnt, it did not have much cheese as well. It was an OKAY panini, but its not worth $9.

Other than the panini, the service is amazing, they are always busy on the weekends so be prepared to stay in line for at least 7-10 minutes.“

“Great food and service! ? The food is literally placed in the storage area meticulously. You can tell they take pride in their food and how it is presented. Not only did it look good, it tasted even better. The softest bagel I've ever tasted. I got grape leaves as well (I usually only purchase these from Greek spots) and too my surprise, they were delicious. The staff was pleasant and wanted to help in any way. My mother has allergies and they stood with her for 5 minutes going over the menu to see what she could eat. Top notch service goes a long way and is rare. Sunrise Bagels has become a staple eveytime I'm out around their way in NJ!“

I found the bagels to be soft enough for my kid which was a big deal for him.

Ordered two iced macchiatos without the sugar which was really good

The lady at the register was sweet and welcoming.

It got busy and they handled it really well, it wasn’t a mad house like some places get.“

“There are tons of bagel places in NJ, but we always find ourselves comparing to House of Bagels. Definitely our favorite bagels - they’re so soft and fluffy on the inside, great crust with plenty of seasoning (our whole family loves everything bagel). What really seals the deal for us is that the bagels freeze and reheat beautifully. They taste almost as good as new. Our kids have them almost every morning 😂 We’ve moved quite far away but always stock up on our favorite bagels whenever we have a reason to be back in the area.“

“Absolutely the best bagel there is. Each one no matter the flavor is a delight. And their food that they put on the bagel is delicious. Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

“Really cute place with plenty of clean tables. Staff is nice and friendly and even brought my bagel over to me. A little expensive, I had an everything cheese egg and chorizo for $9. The chorizo is extra cost but very good, adds a nice zing and crisp to it. The everything bagel is also very flavorful. Best bagel I’ve had in Bayonne.“

“We visited the place last Saturday. The cheese bread is fresh but not really the bagels we got. We waited so long ; we found out that my daughter’s order was given to someone else but they did not care to replace it at once. When we asked about our order, that’s the time they rushed to prepare it , in less than five minutes, the sandwich was handed to us. When we were in the car since we’re already late for our next appointment, my daughter found out that the replacement was wrong. She paid for plain bagel with double eggs, bacon, and cheese but she was given with plain bagel with cheese only. They asked for our phone number but did not initiate the call. I hope they will do better in their team work.“

I called 5 Brothers from Wisconsin (not knowing anything about delis or restaurants in Lincoln Park, New Jersey—just going by google search) to order a couple trays of food for a memorial service in Lincoln Park which I could not attend. I am so happy my Google search led me to such a professional and helpful business. The two brothers I worked with listened to my situation and understood what I was hoping to provide food-wise, and then they suggested a mixed tray of baked goods and desserts that were perfect. They even sent me photos and a video of the finished trays of goodies after they put them together. And then they delivered. Amazing. Top-notch customer service. “I live in the area and attend college out of town so getting to the library on my off days is tough. I've been looking for a place with a chill ambiance, wifi, good tea, and coffee. Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. I totally recommend this place if you have similar needs or just want to hang out with some friends. I will surely be going back.“

“Some of the best hand rolled bagels in NJ. Great crisp crust and wonderfully chewy textured inside. For those that are complaining they do not have a griddle, I believe they have a Kosher certification which means no meat can be served here since they use cream cheese (dairy). This was our go to bagel place when we lived in Fair Lawn, now we live in SC, and we come here to stock up on bagels to take south on every visit to NJ.“

“This place is so damn good! A couple of days ago I got, Fresco’s Bagels, for breakfast. It was fantastic. I had ordered their Garlic Bagel Toasted w/ Cream Cheese. I’ve honestly never had a bagel that good before. The exterior was crunchy and crispy, while the interior was airy and fluffy. Absolutely amazing. The cream cheese was an awesome compliment too. “So after being in New Jersey and going to about 8 bagel shops, I guess this is the one. So... I pull up and the first thing you will notice, parking is an issue. Luckily, people are coming and going so it took around 5 minutes to attain a parking spot. From the look of things, there may have been a parking lot in front of thee establishment before but it would seem that they decided to fill the parking lot with outdoor seating. From speaking to a patron, I understand because he told me that he always walks to the place. So on a nice day, I suppose the outdoor seating is great. You go inside and it's a small space and they have a few tables and chairs inside as well.

Inside and I'm in a line. Probably about 8 people ahead of me. I'm already thinking that these bagels must be damn good. Took about 10 minutes until I put my order in. In total I spent about 25 minutes at this spot. As I'm leaving, there are more people in line than when I got there. Just from seeing the bagels, they look soft and fresh. Just happy to have found the place. I get home and the bagels are just as good as they look. This clean bagel shop comes highly recommended and will be back! Great job guys!“

“Love this place! Such a nice, cozy vibe. I usually come here after training at the ice rink across the street and always grab my favorite almond milk latte. I really appreciate that they use high-quality milk — it tastes great and keeps the drink low-calorie, which helps me stay in shape. Haha, athlete problems!

They also have super tasty pastries, granola, and other desserts. A bit more indulgent, but hey — that just means I’ll need to train a little harder. Totally worth it!

“This is one of my favorite food places. The bakery goods are fantastic. Bagels are made on premises and if you get lucky, you can get them fresh out of the oven.

Though not high end dining, this restaurant checks the boxes. Food is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is not fair to rate the atmosphere on the same plane as the other two. It’s not fancy but quite functional. Especially since it’s usually utilized as a take out place. Most of the time, I’m passing through. I phone in my order and pick it up shortly after. BTW, the tuna and chicken salads are to die for. Maybe the best I’ve ever had. The egg salad is no slouch either.“

“That was as close to perfect as a bagel can be. The shop definitely has seen better days as some of the cases for drinks were completely empty and it could definitely use a bit of cleaning but to me none of that matters because the bagel that I had was Perfectly crispy, amazing flavor, has the right amount of chew, and my vegetable cream cheese was chock full of fresh vegetables.
