“Had an excellent dinner at Paper Lantern of Montclair. The short ribs were excellent for an appetizer, delicious sauce. Wonton soup and dumplings were perfect and the sesame chicken and spicy Szechuan chicken were also wonderful. All of the staff were nice and the restaurant is cute inside.“

“Little disappointed at this place. Saw they had Crispy Beef with Fresh Honey Walnuts Beef with a bed of steamed broccoli in a sweet brown sauce topped with sugared walnuts. Not crispy as from can see in pic. Was this really beef also? Walnuts were plain as well.Steamed Spinach Dumplings were a bit dry . Hunan Dumplings Spinach and beef dumplings topped with spicy peanut sauce. Spicy. I got not spicy but were very good. Would I try again. Yes think I would.“

“This restaurant most closely resembles the chinese food you get in nyc, it's good. The food is tastes great. They have a lunch special. It's affordable compared to other "Chinese" restaurants in town. They also deliver.

Parking: Parking along Bloomfield Ave is always tough. I wouldn't recommend double parking. There are paid lots in town.

“My wife and I ordered dinner in October 2025. I apologize for the long delay in posting this so late. We enjoyed our flank steak skewers, mixed vegetable tofu soup, and chicken with bok choy and black bean sauce. All of these dishes were so delicious and we look forward to placing many more take out orders with this restaurant.

We miss the days when this business was open as a dine-in restaurant. Perhaps one day this business will become a dine-in restaurant again.“

“Fair disclosure.. I don’t like Chinese food but the kids do🤷🏻‍♀️. Ordered thru Wonder app. Was able to track delivery, food arrived on time and hot. I am a new believer!! It’s delicious, fresh, not salty, not bland. Size was fair for the price and the price was reasonable. Would recommend and will definitely order again“

“We ordered from here for the first time this evening, and overall it was a good choice. The portions were quite generous and they gave a quart of white rice! We had beef and broccoli, and the beef was tender and plenty of broccoli that was well cooked. It’s a little sweeter than I’m used to, as I like my food salty yet it was still tasty. The orange chicken was well cooked with a nice flavor. Most of all, I like supporting a small family business.“
