“I've gone to this restaurant a total of three times. The first time I went, (about a year and a half ago) I just got 4 pupusas de frijoles y queso, they were made fresh to order, and they were delicious. The second time I went, was earlier this week, I ordered two pupusas de frijoles y queso and 2 empanadas de carne and a chicharon, to my surprise everything I ordered was already made and they took the pupusas out of a warmer and also the empanadas, although I was skeptical by that at first, I didn't really have a problem with it, but I did skip out on the chicharon just because it looked a little dry, but she did offer to make me a fresh batch, which I really appreciated it, but I had already changed my mind. When I got home and I ate the pupusas and the empanadas they were still very hot and they were delicious and nothing was dried out. I went again today there was nothing already pre-made (which I would have bought anyways because they were still really good last time) so I ordered 2 empanadas and three pupusas and everything was made fresh to order. And as usual very delicious. So from my experience whether it was made to order fresh or made prior and in the warmer the quality of the food was the same and always delicious. As far as the staff goes, I have only dealt with one lady and she's always been kind.“

“The beans are flavorful and the flat white wasn’t bitter. I didn’t find the flat white as masterfully crafted as desired on top of paying a premium of $10 for an 8oz flat white. I appreciate and respect the original design of a flat white, which is essentially a more compact latte with smooth, silky milk conjoined with espresso. However this didn’t truly live up to the craft coffee expectations.

Owner took the trouble to explain all latte options though.“

“Perfect brunch experience!! The food was delicious. The live music excellent. Atmosphere was inviting and fun. The bread pudding was the best thing I ate in a long time. Incredible mixture of chocolate, caramel ice cream and of course bread pudding. Highly recommend!“

“Pricey but tasty! Love the iced rum-infused Coquito latte, but you can’t really go wrong with any of them! Packaging for iced drinks is really cute and the theme and culture make the coffee feel really unique. Pastries are also solid. There was one time we came about a hour after opening time but the doors were still locked and the person inside told us they were closed which was weird…but usually the service is also pretty friendly and helpful.“

“Walked past here to avoid the rain. I ordered a hibiscus tea, and it was very refreshing! The seating is comfy and the vibes are chill. Selam and Max were so friendly and welcoming (especially because I don’t drink coffee), they were able to recommend me different drinks without being pushy at all. Thank you guys!“

“Pass by this place on the way often to Astoria Park and so glad I finally stopped in. Got the Moroccan Tagine Special of the day Veal Meatballs w Rice. She recommends to sit down and eat. Phenomenal flavor savory, sweet, super tender meatballs. A must try!“

“Other 787 locations always seem crowded or have a line, so I was excited to finally try them at this quieter branch. And I now understand the rave -- I had the Supremo, best coffee I've tasted in a long time, found myself grading the flavor profile almost like it was wine. (And I also see why they don't offer traditional drip -- it's to steer you to a delight like this.)

Service was also great -- the Barista started out treating me like a regular, but was also able to quickly pivot once learning I wasn't one (though that may change). Adaptability like that = skill in my book.“

“My husband and I made the long drive yesterday (2 1/2 hrs each way) from upstate NY to visit our daughter in NYC just for the day. While strolling around her neighborhood we came upon your lovely bakery and cafe and after eyeing the beautiful carrot cake in the window, we had to go in. Carrot cake is my favorite sweet treat. There were so many beautiful choices, but we got 2 slices of carrot cake to take back home with us. After the long drive back home we were really looking forward to a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I opened one of the beautifully packed boxes, which revealed an enormous slice of yumminess!! The slice was big enough for at least 3 people. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Everything about this cake was phenomenal. The frosting was outstanding, the cake was so flavorful and moist. It was the best we’ve ever had. We have enough left for a few days. I’m so glad we stopped in. It was a great way to end our lovely day in the city and will most certainly go back on our next trek in . I will also have to get our daughter pick up some baked goods when she’s coming home for a visit. I highly recommend Crumbly Cafe & Bakery😊😊“

It’s a small space & got busy after 11:30am on a Saturday. We got seated quickly. The chilaquiles were shareable and had a mild spicy. The French Toast was MASSIVE and shareable. The crust was slightly too toasted making it a bit difficult to cut through. The arrangement of fruit was nice tho. They added mango which was a nice touch. The cafe con olla does well iced and definitely has the olla taste. Highly recommend the chilaquiles con steak y salsa verde. The staff were very friendly.“

“I live in the area and attend college out of town so getting to the library on my off days is tough. I've been looking for a place with a chill ambiance, wifi, good tea, and coffee. Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. “I work in speciality coffee and it is oftentimes difficult to find someone who will treat your pour over with the same care and attention that you would give it.

The barista was alone and the shop was busy enough that there was often a line at least three people deep. This did not detract from any quality that I saw coming from this shop.

The barista still made sure she purged the grinder, rinsed the filter, and spent the time and attention to brew the coffee well.

The coffee was a Colombia Pink Bourbon and it was wonderful.

Really cute neighborhood shop. Highly recommend.“

“i’m here to tell you the hype is true. The burritos are so freaking good. The sauce is immaculate. I always ask for extra sauce. My favorite is the sausage burrito and the bacon. I usually get both and eat half-and-half and split it with my partner. lol

“My Girl Scout troop of newly graduated Ambassadors spent 4 days in NYC and we stayed right next door to Bear Donut. We went there literally every day, sometimes more than once and cannot recommend it enough!! Friendly and helpful staff, delicious donuts, breakfast sandwiches and coffees!!“

“What a delightful little breakfast/brunch place!!! We went here straight from the airport on our way into town, luggage and all, and it was perfect! We sat in the little outside area with the fans because the A/C was broken inside. My mom ordered the Grey Dog’s Breakfast with her eggs scrambled, French toast, and bacon, and it’s served with home fries. I ordered the egg and cheese croissant minus the parsley (not my fave) and added bacon. I’m picky about my home fries, so the server offered me french fries instead. We had exactly zero complaints about our meal. The portions are big, the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the French toast had this sweet butter with it that I can’t even compare to anything because it was so unique and delicious. The home fries ended up being DELICIOUS. The French fries were also good. I enjoyed the seasoning on them as well. I’m not a big fan of the thing shoe string fries, but these were good! The three employees we encountered were all very friendly and I would be more than happy to eat here again any time.“

“Dropped on by after going to the stationary store next door. I’ve walked by it a couple of times but have always found it crowded. Today was a busy day but everyone here moved quickly. Ordered an iced Vietnamese latte and it was practically done in no time! I enjoy the rich creamy and deep flavor of the coffee. This cafe is quite small with less than 10 seats in the place. The window has a small table that can comfortably fit small people, its aesthetic. I would definitely stop by to do a grab and go again!“
