“From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely cared for. This was my first time visiting, and the experience completely exceeded my expectations. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing, but what truly stood out was the level of attention and thoughtfulness we received. Being noticed and having the spelling of my name acknowledged made me feel seen and valued as a guest.

Ariana deserves special recognition—she went above and beyond by customizing both coquito lattes to accommodate my sister’s and my health issues, *without sacrificing flavor at all*. They were hands-down some of the best drinks we’ve had. Her knowledge, care, and exceptional customer service made this experience unforgettable. If anyone deserves a promotion, it’s Ariana!

“Pass by this place on the way often to Astoria Park and so glad I finally stopped in. Got the Moroccan Tagine Special of the day Veal Meatballs w Rice. She recommends to sit down and eat. Phenomenal flavor savory, sweet, super tender meatballs. A must try!“

“My husband and I made the long drive yesterday (2 1/2 hrs each way) from upstate NY to visit our daughter in NYC just for the day. While strolling around her neighborhood we came upon your lovely bakery and cafe and after eyeing the beautiful carrot cake in the window, we had to go in. Carrot cake is my favorite sweet treat. There were so many beautiful choices, but we got 2 slices of carrot cake to take back home with us. After the long drive back home we were really looking forward to a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I opened one of the beautifully packed boxes, which revealed an enormous slice of yumminess!! The slice was big enough for at least 3 people. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Everything about this cake was phenomenal. The frosting was outstanding, the cake was so flavorful and moist. It was the best we’ve ever had. We have enough left for a few days. I’m so glad we stopped in. It was a great way to end our lovely day in the city and will most certainly go back on our next trek in . I will also have to get our daughter pick up some baked goods when she’s coming home for a visit. I highly recommend Crumbly Cafe & Bakery😊😊“

“Best coffee in NYC, I've been a regular for years, and I bring my friends who become regulars, so I have to give it 5 stars! I was introduced to this place by someone so into coffee that he uses Bayesian optimization to roast his own beans. But, I must say, my wife and I were looking forward to the Yuzu Espresso Tonic they had last summer for the whole year and so were really sad they didn't bring it back this summer. In general, the summer drinks this year are mostly without coffee, yet this is a coffee shop! Espresso tonic is only getting more popular with time, and the Yuzu one you all had last year was the best we've ever had. Period. It's a winning combo. It's so good it should be on the regular menu. So please bring it back, especially since you have Yuzu!“

“Found this place online. We ordered chilaquiles con salsa verde , French toast & iced cafe de olla. The place gives a Mexican home style atmosphere. It’s a small space & got busy after 11:30am on a Saturday. We got seated quickly. The chilaquiles were shareable and had a mild spicy. The French Toast was MASSIVE and shareable. The crust was slightly too toasted making it a bit difficult to cut through. The arrangement of fruit was nice tho. They added mango which was a nice touch. The cafe con olla does well iced and definitely has the olla taste. Highly recommend the chilaquiles con steak y salsa verde. The staff were very friendly.“

“Had the breakfast burrito 🌯 been wanting to get to this place for a while.

Wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was good. The chorizo was the one I went with definitely wasn’t disappointed.

I don’t think it’s worth a far drive but if you’re in the area or it’s not completely out your way it’s definitely worth stopping in for a visit. The place does have seating but not a lot of room. There is a park near by and lots of outdoor seating near the area. That’s what I chose to do.

The breakfast burrito price was amazing especially for nyc the food was good quality and really delicious. The sauce everyone was talking about wasn’t over powering. Matter of fact I wish I had more next time I’ll ask for some on the side felt like I needed an extra pump 😂.

I truly enjoyed this place and I’m sure you guys will also the coffee was mid but it’s ok food makes up for it.

“My Girl Scout troop of newly graduated Ambassadors spent 4 days in NYC and we stayed right next door to Bear Donut. We went there literally every day, sometimes more than once and cannot recommend it enough!! Friendly and helpful staff, delicious donuts, breakfast sandwiches and coffees!!“

I came on a different schedule day and ended up waiting more than an hour for the store to open and the owners were so so sweet about it that I felt like I should apologize instead.

The store is only a few months old but they are nailing it!

I came for the mango sticky rice cheesecake with a super light mochi layer. This tbh was my least favorite as it was too sweet for me. The other cheesecakes though I sampled were amazing I ended up buying two others to take home to freeze, but I ended up eating it all over the weekend. Try interesting flavors like sweet basil and other lovely Asian flavors like ube and taro and black sesame.

Don’t sleep on their drinks either - they’re not too sweet and refreshing.“

“One of the best specialty drink cafes I've had in a long time. I visited twice and was recommended the calamansi latte (with macadamia milk) my first time even though I shared I didn't typically like fruit coffee drinks (or acidic leaning coffee in general). However, it was highly recommended by the gal at the register and now I'm a convert!

I went back for a pandan matcha latte to try out another drink and it's one of the best I've had.

I'm grateful they use real ingredients (such as the pandan and calamansi) because I hate artificial syrups. Will definitely be coming back when I can!“

“This place is 10/10 perfect.. We were looking for a late breakfast before heading to the airport and found this spot on Google Maps.. So glad we stopped in!! The staff were so sweet to us, and the food was absolutely amazing.. The donuts sell out fast but absolutely live up to the hype. The egg Sammy is somehow better than the one my mom makes (don’t tell her I said that).. Iced coffee was perfect.. But my fav was the lamb sausage (a first for me) and the fresh hibiscus iced tea.. I can’t recommend this place enough, and I’m literally down to drive back into the city from the Hamptons just to grab brunch!! If you’re in Astoria and looking for some good food and good vibes this place is a must..“

“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“
