“What a gem. This cozy restaurant has everything I needed after a long day. The staff is friendly and polite. The space is comfortable - not too fancy and not too casual. Most importantly- the FOOD. The Salad Tropical was the most delicious salad I’ve had in my life - fresher than fresh with a unique and perfect blend of subtle flavors. I judge restaurants by their pork and the Lechon did not disappoint. Delicate flavorful seasoning complemented by tenderness. I will definitely remember this meal and recommend this place. “We went on a Wednesday evening around 6:00. We wanted a slow paced meal on our last evening after being rushed at all our other restaurants closer to the Theatres. This was perfect choice. Our waitress allowed us a pleasant stay and the food and wine were great. We had a bottle of Pinot Grigio, the 38 Salad, and shared the Short ribs, which were as good as advertised!!! The star was our waitress from the first hello....she is a rare gem in NYC...sweet, interested in you having a good experience, and efficient!!! Highly Recommend!“

“This was my first visit here. (I previously have had delivery on a couple of occasions and the food was very good.) Despite being a little early for our reservations and the place being very busy, we were seated immediately at the outdoor table I had requested in the reservations. The cocktails didn't take that long to be brought and were very good. The fried calamari appetizer (tapas) was outstanding- each piece perfectly crispy and not one piece was chewy. The sweet chili sauce worked very well with a mild heat in the middle of the tongue surrounded by sweetness. My wife enjoyed the jamon croquettas despite it lacking any sort of aioli or dipping sauce. My main dish of the deep fried Red Snapper was perfectly crisp on the outside, moist and tender inside and all around tasty. My wife enjoyed her fired cheese mofongo. Dessert of guava cheesecake and also the flan were good as well. Overall, service was good and the maitre d' walks around checking in on guests which is a nice touch. Overall, I thought the prices were very reasonable and you get nice size portions making it a good value. Just be aware that inside is fairly large and can get loud. Their windows are thick and outside you only really hear it when the door opens. Considering we live across the street and stare at the place from our windows, we'll be back, likely often.“

“We hired Casa Cubana to cater my Goddaughters Sweet 16th last month. No hassle putting together a great menu for a very large family / friends' event. With constant changes on my end, the staff was always a phone call away, very courteous offering excellent advice to ensure the perfect feast. Oh and the food was amazing.“

Entrees were very good - only small complaint was I asked for ribeye to be cooked medium rare (closer to medium) but was delicious regardless. Services was outstanding- Rose was our server. -The food very good (try the mojito)
-The staff very respectful and clean (they are always cleaning & I love it)
-Expensive ? Tbh NO (is one of the cheapest places I’ve went) Ive taken my 3 kids, my mom and I and my bill wont make it to 150.
Can get packed on weekends I prefer to call and get an estimate wait time.
You can enjoy a nice drink by yourself at the bar or eat with family ether or I believe you will leave with a good experience“

“Great food and great service. The food reminds me of home and is reasonably priced. We keep coming back for the ox tail stew, ribs, beef steak, porkchops, dumplings and the boneless chicharonnes de pollo. Most meals are served with white or yellow rice and beans or vegetables. If you want to try something different, they have the beef liver and squid ink fried rice which remind me of squid ink Paella. The combination meals are a great option to try out different dishes. The staff and owners always greet you with a warm welcome.“

“I found this place through instagram and went in person had the sweet chilli wings and two empanadas, amazing! Loved it. Not a fan of the yuca fries they were a bit on the dry side but its always a hit or miss when it comes to Yuca / Yuca fries. “A big shout out to my best latin place in Hoboken: Chango Kitchen. Traditional yummy latin dishes. Our faves are churrasco con chimichurri (skirt steakgrilled) and ropa vieja (shredded beef). My kids loved "alfajores with dulce de leche", "tres leches" and hot chocolate with when it's cold outside. Service is warm and friendly. We can visit the place multiple times and never get tired. #supportlocal“
