“Celebrated my moms birthday at Tabor Tavern today. The food was amazing & the atmosphere is gorgeous in the fall, but what was spectacular was our server Dianne. There were 7 of us in our party including a 3 year old and she anticipated our needs every step of the meal. We would recommend going here for a date night, family dinner, celebration, holiday party etc.“

It states no substitution, but add-ons seem to be a substitution and you get charged full price plus the add-on. Better communication up front would have been helpful, however the server did make it right for one of the items that was charged at full price.“

“New Providence Bar and Kitchen was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. We came for lunch and immediately the staff made us feel very welcome. The menu, from the drinks to the entrees, put a fun spin on familiar dishes—just enough to be unique without deviating too much from traditional favorites. The calamari appetizer with chili peppers and capers was the best I’ve ever had— flavors were amazing. The Parmesan-crusted salmon was also tasty and my wife loved her meal too. “I never ever ever ever feel obliged to review restaurants. There are hundreds of reviews that speak and echo anything I would say about the delicious meal I enjoyed. But what is compelling me to post this was truly the regarding the service I received here. It brought me to tears!!! Patricio and Dylan were the most considerate, kind, attentive and understanding waiters I have ever met in my entire life. After dining in the tri-state area my whole life, exploring cities like Chicago and LA through food, I’ve been conditioned and numb to lackluster waitstaff and typically take the approach of trying just to avoid them spitting in my food, but Patricio and Dylan completely floored me in their attention to detail, knowledge, and service that showed me exactly what good waiters could be. Living with GI issues and intolerances, I consistently feel like an inconvenience at restaurants and that the entire responsibility of making sure I don’t fall ill after dining is based on how I modify the menu and pick around my plate. EXCEPT here at Rails with Patricio and Dylan, I had the first care-free dining experience in my life, their thoughtfulness allowed me to be truly present with my family, enjoy the wonderful food being served, and just live in the moment, which is so important to me. Dylan was explicit in the detail of every dish and always helped me navigate what was coming around and being served. Now, back to the tears, when I subtly mentioned in passing to Patricio that I couldn’t eat dairy and couldn’t partake in the birthday cake, he brought me a delicious sorbet flight, unprompted, just so that I could feel a part of the festivities. “We stopped here on the way home from MA to PA because I searched for an added stop in Google. We weren't sure about it at first because the parking lot only had a few cars , but then again, it was 2:15pm.
We were greeted warmly by Tony and one other gentleman and seated in a comfortable booth. Our server, Tony, was friendly, helpful , and obviously cares about their customers happiness with their service.
There was a great variety of food available on the menu, and the prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes. In addition, music was quietly playing in the background
