“The Black horse diner outdid themselves in helping provide outstanding chicken pot pies to celebrate my dad's 90th birthday. the pot pies from the Black horse diner are one of his favorites and I wanted to serve them the party I had.... the team at the diner was so helpful and accommodating and the food was absolutely over the top outstanding. I have never seen so much chicken in a a pot pie dish. am I entire life!!! thank you to the entire staff of the Black horse diner you have a fan for life!!!”

“The Love. was simply incredible! We came here with our 6 year old son. Our waiter was fabulous and very accommodating to our 6 year old which you don’t always find in Rittenhouse. The atmosphere was light and airy and the food was great! Make sure to try their Dubai Chocolate Sundae and if you’re going with children they do have special kids cups and will accommodate the menu for them.”

“We had the perfect cozy, comforting meal on a frigid winter night! The servers were attentive and took the time to answer questions and led us to pick the best menu items. The drink selections were excellent and I was happy to have a number of non-alc choices. We started with the layered lasagna and the “not Caesar” salad, both unique and delicious. The star of the meal was the gnocchi with local mushrooms. It was incredibly savory with so much flavor and the right amount of crunch. We will absolutely be returning to see what’s next on the menu rotation!”

“In all fairness, it’s been years since I’ve been there however, when I did go with my wife it was an awesome experience. I had my most favorite drink that I have ever experienced there. It was a vanilla-raisin old fashioned. I enjoyed it so much I have re-created it to the best of my ability many times over. You will love this place!”
