“I am closing in on 40 and have been coming to this restaurant since I was a small child, some of my earliest memories are family dinners at Da Chen. The staff here are amazing— kind, attentive, helpful, and generous. Their house made duck sauce and crispy fried wonton chips ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD. Do not sleep on them if you only ever order take-out! You receive the crispy wonton chips with any soup order, but you have to ask for their homemade duck sauce on the side (costs like 25¢ iirc)!!! My favorite foods from here are: wonton soup, their complimentary jasmine tea, shrimp toast, beef & broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, general tso’s chicken, pork fried rice, and the bao bao platter (it’s such a fun treat eating this for dine-in). You will always receive the same quality service and food here, and somehow over the years it’s even gotten better! Da Chen is child-friendly and has high chairs available to use, and is wheelchair-accessible straight from the ample free parking lot and into the restaurant. Da Chen accepts cash, debit or credit. The prices for all of them were about the same, but this place doesn't charge a really high additional fee for using credit/debit to pay. The General Tso's chicken was excellent with a great sauce and just the right amount of spice. The portion sizes are very generous, so we actually had plenty of leftovers for the next day. The pickup time they quoted me was very accurate and the staff was great when I walked in. The place can use some upgrades and upkeeping but before you hurt a business, ensure you reflect how you are treating workers. “This is now a favorite spot to get Chinese food. Honestly, it will probably be the only spot for here on out. Second timw ordering from here through Uber Eats. I ordered the rib tip combination. It was absolutely amazing. It definitely was not what I am used to getting. The meat was tender and juicy with just the right amount of sauce. No grizzle. I ordered the fried rice with bean sprouts and egg. It was so delicious and perfectly made. My food arrived hot and was delivered by the most beautiful driver. “I grew up near Gao Sheng and have been eating here my whole life. I’ve traveled all over the US and abroad, always trying Chinese food to get a taste of home—and nothing comes close to this place. The flavors, the consistency, the comfort… it’s unbeatable.

My go‑to order: Singaporean noodles (mild) and General Tso’s with chicken fried rice. Perfect every time. I usually dine in and swear the goldfish are the same ones from when I was a kid—it’s part of the charm.

The family that owns this restaurant has been serving the community for decades, and I’m genuinely grateful for them. No matter where I go, Gao Sheng will always be my Chinese food.

Lots of good frozen selections and lots of spices, herbs, legumes, lentils, sauces in jars and spice packets.
