“I went to see No Surrender last night and went early to grab some dinner. We had the chicken cesar salad and chicken quesadilla. Very yummy. The staff was lovely and helpful and very friendly. The band was fantastic, although the mix wasn't what it should have been. My only complaints other than that - it was too cold inside and the indoor ladies room ran out of paper towels and the hand dryer didn't work. The band is a must-see!“

“R Bar is always a joy! New Orleans is one of my favorite cities, so it's nice to step into R Bar when I'm in the gumbo, second line band, gritty state of mind. The drinks are fabulous (Fireside Chat) and the seafood gumbo is the best in the land. Service is always great and do catch the Ocean Ave Stompers there if you ever get a chance! It turns into a mini Mardi Gras! It's one of those places where you want it to be popular so it thrives and stays around for years and years, yet you don't want it to get too popular so that it becomes snooty like every other popular NJ restaurant. The holiday decor is a whole vibe—the owners and staff really went all out to provide a warm, inviting experience for their customers. We are always greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. I always enjoy the time spent at Woodys, whether with friends or family. The seating options are many as the heated outdoor area is available all year long. “On an ordinary day, we go here for beers and a burger with cottage fries and always have the best time. I have to mention this weekend specifically though because we had our wedding after party here. The owner, Kevin, is truly one of the nicest people and always provides service with a genuine smile. He is courteous and made all of our family and friends feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our evening. “Great atmosphere for sure. 3 different bars to choose from. Stopped by for a quick bite after a long day of travel because it was walking distance, but the food was just okay. The effort is definitely not there food wise, but it's my first trip to the Shore, so I can't really compare it to any other food spots. At $20 bucks a head for food, it's too expensive for what you get.“

I guess it would be good bar food, but the fries weren't seasoned, so it was good with the sauce they put on, but when we got fries with the sandwich, the plain fries were unseasoned. We didnt really think this should be under "dive bar" so yea. Refers to food as nips and idk if it was the chicken tenders or just some other item used“
