“Ordered vegetable lo mein and vegetable fried rice, and was pleasantly surprised. Both dishes were better than any airport Chinese food that I’ve had, and the servings (in large bowls) were generous. Utensils and chopsticks were provided. The low mein wasn’t ruined by excess cabbage or celery, and the fried rice wasn’t eggy. Service was okay (10-15 mins). Pricing was pretty good, given the silly mark-ups that you’ll find for most food and drinks in EWR. Seating is first come - first served, at the same kind of tables as you’ll find throughout EWR. (So you might meet a mystery dining companion across from you.) The only surprise was how early the restaurant closes (7:30). Other than that, a great experience, and I’ll be going back next time I’m travelling through Newark.“

“I’ve always ordered food for delivery here and the food has always been great. Tonight was my first time dining in. The food, service, and ambiance was amazing. Our server Deedra was very attentive and provided great service. The music playlist was perfect. I will definitely come here again!“

“Had a bowl of ramen here before my flight and it was a 10/10 — exactly what I needed before a long journey. The staff was fantastic, especially Emmanuel, who went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Great food and even better service!“

“I really enjoyed the ceviche – it was super good and not too expensive. The chaufa was good too, but I forgot to ask for the green hot sauce that it would’ve make the food a 9/10 but with out the green sauce it was a 7/10, so I’d say it’s more of a 4.5. Still, I’m giving it 5 stars because the waitress was really nice and made sure my order was right. I definitely recommend this restaurant!“

“We've been meaning to to try so many of the new restaurants in the area. We finally got here for a late lunch today. Not surprisingly on a Thursday at 2PM and snowing, we had the place to ourselves. It was fortunate because the woman who took care of us explained everything to us in detail. I wasn't familiar with the Kurobuta pork. Apparently it's known as the, "Kobe beef of pork." All their pork come from Berkshire pigs. They come from a farm in Jersey. I'm guessing North Jersey. (Lot's of cool info if you Google them) Cooking is done using White charcoal which is used in traditional Japanese cooking. We started with the crispy cauliflower. It had crispy shallots & tahini vinegarette on them. They were delicious! Then the Shanghai bao. Filling was pork. (naturally) So delicious and juicy! When you slice them in half watch for the juice to squirt! We ordered six skewers. Two with pork jowel (cheek) Two regular pork and two fish. Again, delicious. i also had a bowl of spicy miso ramen. Our server explained how the broth is simmered for eight hours with pig bones and marrow. I could tell as the broth was very rich! That was it for us. We were both very full and i even took half of my ramen. We can't wait to return and bring friends! Highly recommend! ✌️“

“The place is great and feels like a dragon ball z lunch with Goku. Me and my son loved the food and the serve was fabulous. Even the food to go when heating it up tasted awesome. I would highly recommend going there.“

“My husband and I stopped in on our way to an event in the area based on reviews. It's a very small place with no indoor seating. However the service was friendly and quick and the chicken bao was very good. If we are ever back in the area, I would try more items from their menu.“
