“Taste great Baklava looks good but too mushy“

“I had an appointment on Bay Area & had r have any breakfast. It was already after 2 pm & was very hungry . So I searched it up if there is any halal restaurant near me. I found this one, didn't even realized it existed until today . I don't live around that area & barely come to this part of the island . Upon asking I have found out that they had been open more than 6 months ! But it's never too late to try a new restaurant & get surprised!

Tell you the truth Turkish food isn't my regular food, but I do love it. There are so much I gotta try still & that's the exciting part !

So when I came in was seated right away. I decided to try something new which I never tried before. So ordered lentil soup, lamb chop & tried their spicy Mock-tail. It was soo good !
Lentil soup was ok, lamb chop was yummy, it was my first time trying lamb chop actually & because they had 2 different portions size I was able to order for me. I am so glad I did ! Altho it was only 2 pieces but it comes with rice, bread & salad. Very filling ! Then I had to order a dessert called Kunafe & it was so yummy !and of course I can't finish without trying some tea or coffee. So I tried the Turkish tea! After all this exciting food I was soo full but I will definitely be back !

The place is not that big but cozy! Restroom was beautiful & clean. Customer service was good, everyone does not speak English well & I don't speak their language! It did took some patience for both of us to communicate lol__

“Love those place. It was my first time here. We came a group of 5. The place is super clean. It’s a family restaurant. Everyone is super friendly. The food was amazing. Ordered humus with chips as an appetizer. We ordered a variety of things: Grilled mixed (chicken, lamb, beef with fries and rice), whole fish, salad 🥗 , eggplant. For dessert, it was a goatcheese with jce cream. Trust me and taste it. You can bring your own wine. Their Iced tea is good. Definitely coming back.“

“The Turkish food here is of high quality. We had the mixed platter of cold appetizers and the mixed meat entree. So yummy! The host and waiters were very welcoming and efficient. When they made a mistake and forgot a side we ordered, they still brought it late and did not charge us. Then they brought us tea and baklava on the house. They want you to leave happy. The sign of a well-run business. We’ll be back for sure.“

“I end up visiting this place twice in a month. I loved their food & service so much that I had to took my friends to try their food .

The price is on the higher side, but I rather enjoy good with excellent customer service; rather than cheap food with horrible service! I have a feeling because of the price I will not be able to come on a regular basis but whenever I wanna treat myself with good food , this will be my go to place. So glad I don't have to travel 3 hours just to go on a different borough to get good halal food.

Ambience is beautiful, very clean & the restrooms are excellent lol. Not just good taste they spent money decorating this place!

Food portions are great, my friends loved everything they tried. I am so glad lol, or else you know how friends are !

Very rarely I get to try Turkish cuisine & I am glad for trying . Thank you everyone for all your hard work!

Another thing I have to mention is that they serve alcohol, I m definitely sure if they take this out they will get much more customers! Because any place sells alcohol can’t be call halal. Maybe they can have some tasty mock-tails!“

“The food was absolutely amazing. The service was great and I loved the ambiance. I'm vegan and my guy is not. We struggle finding restaurants with hearty, delicious food to accommodate both of us. Toros was perfect. We'll definitely be back.

“We had a great dinner tonight at Happy Vegans. We were greeted warmly and offered a taste of their special dish kofta, which is a delicious mix of spices, tomato and bulgur. I had the happy vegan burger which was huge with three patties made from kofka, lettuce tomatoes and a large serving of fries. We were given mayonnaise and ketchup to dip the fries in. Baklava for dessert. I highly recommend this charming restaurant. Easy street parking.“

“A friend of mine brought me some Baklava from Beyti. What an absolute delight it was. The Baklava's were not too crispy, not too soft, just had the right texture. The sweet level was just perfect. Hopefully one day they will start shipping them out.“
