“Great coffee, the older lady who is usually there is very friendly and welcoming. A barista was there that I’ve never seen before and maybe it was a language barrier but I think not she was rude. I said bless you after she sneezed no acknowledgement when she gave me my coffee I said thank you once again just turned her back no acknowledgement. Could’ve been a language barrier or me not being Korean“

“Love Healthy in Dyckman. It’s a gem in the Kingsbridge area where it’s possible to find good quality, healthy food. I particularly love their healthy egg wrap and chai latte. “Came here by accident as my husband and I were about to goto Hmart right across the street and boy did we find a hidden gem! It’s funny because we were craving a sandwich and was about to shop for the ingredients to make at home and it was just meant to be!

We ordered a turkey cold cut sandwich and a chicken cutlet sandwich with a large coffee to share. The sandwiches were off the hook!!! The bread itself was so good and it just blew our expectations! It was so good that we had to order another breakfast sandwich to try and even that was really good. The place is very cozy and the ambience was just perfect. “Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“

When the place fills up (which it does regularly), the combination of music and surrounding chatter can make it difficult to carry on a conversation. Today was particularly challenging. Either the volume or the type of music made it difficult to hear one another. One of the owners was near my table, so I motioned to her. After a bit, she did come by, but seemed a bit harried. I apologized that our hearing wasn’t what it used to be, and we were having a hard time conversing with the music being as loud as it was. She responded that the volume was at the level it usually is. I guess she realized she was being somewhat dismissive, so she said she’d see what she could do. As far as we could tell, nothing much changed, but we moved a little closer to one another, spoke a little louder, and enjoyed our coffee and breakfast!“

Noticed some people working on their laptops. saw some families. Parking is a little tough and you have to pay metered parking via an app or coins. Once inside it is totally worth it. Reminds me of Italian cafe in Italy?? The girls Masiel & Yendi who work the counter were very friendly and helpful. They play Italian cards in the back and the front has outdoor seating to sip your expresso in the sun . Its on a busy street so parking is a little difficult but worth it to come just park on a side street .They do not have food here just Italian coffee , cold drinks and cornettos which are like croissants ? with cream or fruit inside.“
