“Love the atmosphere..went for lunch.
They put the soccer game which was cool...but it took forever for the server to check back on us so we can get the check even after I asked another staff to let them know since I didnt see our server. Note... the place wasn't that busy at the time.“

“Drove by this place the other day and decided to check it out today, I was not disappointed. I had the rabo (ox tails) with arroz con gandules (rice and pigeon peas) along with a green salad with avocado and a chicken soup that slaps. The rabo was delicious, I had them pour a little of the sauce on the rice and it was incredible. The portions were perfect for what the prices are like today. I don’t know how long this place has been around but it’ll definitely be a go to spot for me if I want some good Latin food.“

“I went here two weeks ago, very good food, I enjoyed my steak a lot, but there are couple things that I will point out, the music definitely must be more loud, you could barely hear anything it created the weird atmosphere since I could hear all what others around me are talking about, second thing they should inform you that the food will take a while go get ready, it definitely was worth it but just the server should be aware to inform us that it will be an hour wait for the food, also you can bring your own bottle of wine which is great!“

“Get the yucca fries! They are so yummy and the green sauce is amazing. Everything we’ve order from the place is delicious, but I especially love the carnitas sandwich. The chef was so kind and shared a slice of their new chocolate/dulce cake with us and it was wonderful. Highly recommend this spot!“

“The decor at this morsel of Costa Rican culture is aesthetically pleasing and if you’re in the area, this is one of the better Tico spots. We watched Costa Rica beat Paraguay in a Copa America game while eating pupusas, un Casado and Tacos Ticos and totally hit the spot. Especially since they served some salsa Lizano on the side.“

“Great food, it was tasty. I got the stew chicken and cuban sandwich. The cuban sandwich was great, no changes needed there. However, the stew could've used some achiote to give the chicken some color, it's very pale. Regarding the flavor I wasn't too happy with the kick, never had stew with a kick and this was a first. Would definitely order the cuban sandwich again but unsure about the stew. Overall not bad, good for the price and the portions are satisfying as well.“

I love that's it's most likely family owned as we own a family owned business also. We love to give our business to small local businesses. We ordered the chicken and rice and beans and it was well seasoned and cooked. Very tasty. We will definitely be back to try another item off the menu.“

“Authentic Dominican food, you get a lot of food for the value, and the staff is lovely and very helpful. There is a big selection of food options. We liked everything we had, I especially liked the avocado salad.

They have all the available food on display, cafeteria style, but they serve at the tables and the food is hot when it arrives. They have plenty of tables and free parking in front.“

The 11 dollar weekday lunch special is a better portion of food than I’ve seen anywhere outside of select shops in Chinatown, and it comes with ceviche or soup, a rice and beans plate with steak or chicken or pork, and a drink.
