“This place bring such a nice aroma and nice customer service, Food is 10/10 always hot and fresh , I would say my favorite thing on their menu would be their margaritas sampler since it brings a variety of food eat such as the chicken wings and flautas with their delicious “
“We enjoyed the food and amazing service here. The ambiance is cozy and perfect if you’re going in a date night. Also this is a BYOB place so you can get your own bottle. The Guac & chips were fresh and delicious. The tacos were good too.We also tried a new dish - Salta Patras Ceviche and it was delicious.Special mentioned to the Tres leches which wasn’t over sweet.Definitely try out this place. It deserves more spotlight.“

“I've gone 2 times within the past 2 weeks and I'm hooked. You might not expect it walking in, but it's the perfect little gem for Hackensack. The taco tuesday specials are great but the delicious tacos make it more worth it. The margaritas are yummy too“
“I’ve been to different locations of la fortaleza but this one is by far the best. Incredibly great service and the food was so good. Karen made our experience incredible and gave us amazing service. My wife had the chilaquiles and I had chiles rellenos I loved it.“
“I had the pleasure of visiting today and they did not disappoint! The food came out pretty quickly and tasted delicious. We ordered a buffalo chicken panini and it was cooked to perfection. The buffalo wings were also a hit! Everything was flavorful.“
“The exquisite food with a flavor of Mexico, the excellent service Valeria and Irma are always friendly and attentive to their customers, they are two of the best, from the Passaic Fortress 204 Hope Ave we are in the county of Ocean County and we travel more than once time to enjoy the best authentic Mexican food, and the excellent service of Valeria and Irma and thanks to the entire team that makes up the fortress of hope ????????????????“
“When I find a gem, I share it! Yes, yes, yes! Hallelujah to good food! We were trying to find some tacos to eat before going home and I came across a little taco truck that I had to try! They have the pastor tacos in the traditional rotating-roster, and they were delish! I also had an elote ? with everything, and a tiny bit of the powder-picante was enough for me to get a kick of spice in my mouth that turned on all the right taste buds! The lady who took care of us was polite, fast, and so kind! I will definitely be back to try the other tacos they have!!“
“Wonderful weekend lunch! We really wanted breakfast, however we arrive at 12:30 on a Sunday. They were very accommodating when we asked if they could put fried eggs on top of our Nachos Rancheros, they said yes.Nachos RancherosFresh crisp tortilla chips (flour)Topped with black beansCheesePico de GalloAvocadoJalapenosWe ordered without meat, though there is a choice of meat if you like, and added 2 fried eggs on topMy daughter ordered Pechuga de pollo a la plancha (grilled chicken) platter with rice, beans, salad, tortilla, it was so much good, only $12! The chicken was like 10/10 Delicious, a little smokey, xxx really tender, beans and rice were amazing. Salad was plain but fresh.Arroz con leche was warm, comforting, full of cinnamon flavor, like a warm hug in a mugCafe Con leche was perfect, the best cup of coffee!Breakfast served 7:00 - 11:00amVegetarian options: Almost every menu item could be ordered with rice and beans, thank makes it vegetarian, they also had a veggie taco, nopales taco. Burritos, tostadas, nachos could be ordered without meat. If you order without cheese, then I believe it can be vegan.Parking: Residential neighborhood, very difficult to find any parking spotKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, though they did not offer us a kid menu“
“Wow!! So we had a group of 8 and was pouring rain so looking for a takeout place. Found Tacos Polos because it was only 5 minutes away. We ordered tons of food for pickup. The price was great and the quality and amount for the price was unbelievable. We ordered a 30 tacos combo ?they were amazing. Everything was so good. We are so happy we found an amazing takeout place nearby.“
“It was my first time visiting here. It was an amazing experience!.? You must try the frozen margaritas. ?The customer service was outstanding.????? While at the bar "Alexa" was very attentive to all out needs and making sure we had the best experience ever! I would definitely come back soon! I'm gonna recommend this place to my family and friends!??“
“We recently had the pleasure of dining here today. This restaurant brings out the food of its people with great prices. The tacos are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the flavors are truly authentic. We tried the fried pork, beef birria and chicken birria tacos and churros they were excellent. The tortillas are made fresh daily. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, we had a wonderful meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Mexican food.“
“I’m addicted! The menu is simple, the food is flavorful and well presented. Service is wonderful and great value. Casual setting with beach-y/food truck vibes vs a restaurant-proper. I suspect that this place would have a lot more foot traffic if it were in town near Bloomfield Ave or Watchung, but I’m happy to have it so nearby in Upper Montclair, and I hope they are a long-standing fixture here (have seen a few places coke and go in this spot). The food here stands out miles ahead of a couple of nearby Mexican options, albeit smaller menu.“
“This is without a doubt the best banh mi in town. The bread is utter perfection, the ingredients always fresh, and just the right level of spice. The staff are very friendly and the owner is actively involved. I had a problem with my order, which he personally resolved. I was very impressed why his commitment to customer satisfaction. I will be a customer for life. Keep up the great work!“
“If I could I'd give this place 100 stars! Their chicken tacos are by far my favorite, after four years of not living in NJ I had to come back to get these tacos, they are so delicious. Their guacamole flight is also so good, must try their pork belly guac and spicy jam one. Órale is doing it right!!“
“I stopped by on my way home from the gym. I order an al pastor burrito. It was really seasoned well and flavorful. It wasn't small and it wasn't huge either. It was a good size. I left feeling full but not stuffed. I'm looking forward to trying their tacos.“
“Tl:Dr was tasty but had terrible gas afterward, do not recommend for those with delicate systems!Recommend: tongue tacos, burritos, birria tacosI LOVE tongue tacos. They were a little bland by themselves but we're perfection with some salsa. The pico de gallo is quite spicy which was unexpected but not unwelcome for us.Birria tacos were nice but too cheesy for me (although for cheese lovers it may be perfect). The portion sizes on the burritos are pretty hefty.“
“We absolutely love coming here! The service is friendly, the food is delicious, the drinks are yummy. A big shout out to Lily! What a beautiful soul and a superior attitude! Thank you for the best food and drinks! Salute!Parking: Lots of spots to park.Kid-friendliness: The kids love the colorful atmosphere“
“The food is AMAZING !!! was a last minute thing and we are so happy we went ! Taste so authentic, and family owned. Out family had an amazing time ! Fries , Barria tacos , horchata, burritos.. all recommended! We will be back to try there pupusas. “
“Absolutely delicious! Large portions, great service, and phenomenal prices. We got an order of nachos, tacos and fajitas for $34 and had leftovers.Notes:BYO - They’ll put your extra cervezas in their fridge if you ask!Cash only! They have an ATM on site.“
“Burgers and Chinese food at one place, never would have thought! Burgers were good, big and juicy, and relatively inexpensive. The "caramelized onions" were those fried onions you get from a can and not really caramelized onions. But for 10 bucks with fries and a can of soda, im ok with it.“
“This is the best Mexican food I've had in Jersey!! It's family owned and the family is incredibly friendly. The food is authentic, it tastes like it was served straight out of abuela's kitchen. The homemade sauces and dishes are delicious and unique in taste. They serve birria tacos occasionally which are to die for !!! The place is cozy and bright. They deliver, prices are reasonable and the food tastes great even reheated. I love this spot!!!“
“This was my second visit to the establishment, and the experience was as positive as the first. I ordered a carne asada burrito and an Elote. The burrito was substantial and satisfying, although I would have preferred a more generous serving of chips or none at all. The Elote was delicious, but it is advisable to allow it to cool slightly before consuming.Upon entering the establishment, we were greeted cordially and directed to a table. Menus were provided, and we were informed that orders should be placed at the cashier, where drinks could also be obtained. The decor of the establishment is noteworthy, featuring a luchador theme. Spanish music was played at an appropriate volume, creating a pleasant ambiance.I intend to return to sample additional dishes from the menu.“
“While out picking up wedding cake samples nearby, my fiancee and I literally happened on Victoria's by total chance on Saturday, 01/13. We arrived at around noon and may have been the first people to show up for the day. Given how quiet the restaurant was, we didn't want to get our hopes up but BOY did this place deliver. As soon as we took our first bite of the complementary (and addicting) warm black bean dip with fresh, salty tortillas we knew we were in for a treat! I ordered the burrito which was loaded with the most flavorful and perfectly cooked chicken. My fiancee ordered tacos (4 per order) - 2 fish and 2 barbacoa. The tacos and salsas were super fresh and tasty. I love that they didn't try to overcomplicate anything - just extremely delicious food without the need for gastronomics and extra flair. Even though this is about a 25 minute drive from us, I definitely think we'll be making another trip back!“
“they have a great menu of foods. there burritos are so amazing and filling. other than there menu food they also have freshly made dinners that are so mouthwatering. any foody would love this place and there portions are very genrous and not expensive at “
“The mole poblano is divine. Mushroom quesadillas with blue tortillas are so fragrant and memorable. Birria is always a pleaser. Plus their salsas. The quality of their tortillas is unforgettable—fresh, floury, colorful. Love the interior decor. Will definitely return when in the area. Also, don’t forget to keep a lookout for the cute neighborhood cats (outside the shop down the block).“
“This place has the best avo toast around best home fries. Delicious omelets. But the avo toast. I'm coming here almost every wknd for it!!! Perfect poached egg. And the arugula that goes on the multi grain toast. Devine!!!! A must try!!!!“
“Be careful what you wish for. One torta here completely eliminated any chance I'd be doing any more climbing yesterday at the gym we were at next door. Delicious lunch though next time I'll opt for something lighter if I hope to continue climbing.“
“The family at Los Hermanos is a quality group. The meet you with a smile and their space is delightful. Nice for a quick bite whether that’s for a breakfast quesadilla or a lunch entree. A great addition to the 4th ward of Montclair. Also, side note - they wear gloves while preparing your food and it’s a very clean establishment.“
“Tried their birria tacos, tacos al pastor and the horchata and everything was perfect. Everything was fresh and delicious. Probably some of the best birria tacos I’ve ever had. The customer service was also very good. Definitely going back!!“
“Seriously some of the best food I’ve ever had. The chicken burrito is fantastic. The guac is always freshly made. Churros are also great. My girlfriend always gets the spicy shrimp tacos, even though it’s not listed here on the menu. But if you call them they will accommodate. Very nice hidden gem in Lodi.“
“I love Dario's Tex Mex, the first time I got put on this spot I couldn't stop going back, I put my mom on this spot and she now loves it, the owner is a charm very friendly and the food is soo good please don't sleep on Newark NJ food spots we definitely have some hidden gems here ???“
“My son goes to Woodrow Wilson near this restaurant, and every time that I visit him, or pick him up. We go here. I highly recommend this restaurant, because the food is amazing, and the family that works at this place are very kind, and have great service.“
“My wife and I went to Bitol for Saturday Brunch and all I can say is WOW. We were both extremely surprised with the great service and food. We sat at the bar and Hailey was great, one of the best Bloody Marias (Mayan Maria) I have had. My wife loved the Butterfly Pea Tea Mimosas that came with her Mimosa flight. They had great brunch food options and we both really enjoyed our dishes, their guacamole app with the Sikil-P’ak was on point!! We will be back again for brunch, looking forward to their Taco Tuesday night, as well as future dinners at Bitol.“
“I didn’t know what authentic Mexican food was until I came here. This is hands down the most delicious Mexican food I have ever tried. Carlos, the son of the chef, provided outstanding service and was extremely professional as a server. I love this restaurant!“
“A very pleasant and delicious experience, a service 1A Alexandra, the girl who served me, that woman knows that it is a good service, and everything she recommended was super delicious, she told me you are going to leave the plate empty and she was right, you feel in a little piece of Mexico ??, after I traveled there I became more demanding with the Mexican food I get in the USA, this place is perfect to try a little bit of Mexican gastronomy.“
“I always order burritos from here, also love their chips and guac (just wish there was a smaller size for chips cause I never finish them). They always do a great job preparing the food. Presentation is always neat and they always get it right. Their guacamole is always fresh and I’ve never had to spend a long time waiting for my mobile order. Would definitely recommend this spot.“
“Went on a Saturday and they are a club also and we were not expecting that. The food was great and service was very good. Just had a little difficulty talking over the musicParking: Only a few spots available but had we not gotten there when the "club" started i believe we would have been able to park“
“Spoke with a owner today and had to tell her that one of her employees is always outstanding with service and goes beyond even when they are about to close. I know the owner told me the girls name but im going to spell it wrong but Andrea thank you for being pleasant. I noticed there was no more salsa out and asked her if there wasn't any i wouldn't buy that night and I'll come back another day because i knew they were closing and i know the hustle and bustle of that. Usually ppl say no and go about what they were doing but not her she looked in the back, front and said i have some gave me a cup and i was on my way. Everytime i have come to this location i get greeted and there is no hesitation to give great service. Thank you guys!!!“

“I have been coming here for about a year, always good service and the food is good too, French fries are excellent and I like the quesadillas or the Caribbean burrito with plantains. Also the Agua Fresca with cucumber is really good. ?Parking: It is sparse.. and metered parking only“
“I thoroughly enjoy my meals at this restaurant. they provide a good quantity of food and the flavors are great. They make amazing rice and beans too. the staff is always super nice and service is fast. Definitely a go-to for Mexican food in my area.“
“I’ve been coming here for years (even back when it was in Hoboken). Best Mexican food you will find anywhere in the area. Each item is more delicious than the next. The flavors are incredible, the ingredients are fresh and top shelf. Every time I eat here, I fall in love with the food. DELECTABLE!“
“Overall it was a great dining experience. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was good, and pricing was typical. What was missing was the old days when Mexican restaurants typically gave you free chips and salsa for the table. A relatively small expense like that can go a long way towards enhancing the dining experience. It's like an Italian restaurant giving you free bread and butter/oil. Still, it was a good meal and the Sangria was good, though it could have had a little more fruit... Definitely worth a trip to try it out.“
“Natalie was such a great help! Explained everything very clearly and ? super helpful when I asked for a to go she even asked to pack it for us. Braught out the food quick and it was nice, hot & delicious! Great little spot for you and bae on a rainy night! Or any occasion. Cute little local spot. They speak Spanish and English also! Horchata frescas def give you that made at home made feeling. Overall we left super happy and full!“
“Their catering service is amazing! I wish I took pictures but everyone at the event ate every birria taco before I can take a picture. Ordering was great and the guy who picked up the phone was extremely sweet. They give you the salsa red and green. It was just amazing and great flavor. They work with you and make sure you get what you need. The consome was so tasty. Thank you guys for the amazing service !! ❤️❤️❤️❤️“
“Stopped by this local dot because I was HUNGRY! Lol. Also needed to get something before heading to my next appointment. I walked in and although the place was empty, the employee at the front was patient, helpful and friendly. I liked the decor and cleanliness of the establishment. You could tell they worked hard to keep this casual spot warm and inviting. Down to the flower vases on each table. I ordered the pupusa and chicken tacos. The food was flavorful and ingredients fresh. Even the radishes and cucumbers as garnish was fresh. I'll be back again. I love finding local spots with great food! Let me know if you have any to recommend.“
“It was our first time trying Salvadorian food and must say, we were very impressed!! The pupusas (stuffed flatbread made out of corn or rice flour) were incredible. We tried two different varieties - Loroco (a herb) with cheese and squash with cheese. There are several vegetarian filling options for the pupusas. We also had the pechuga a la plancha (chicken breast) and the typical breakfast. Both were delicious, with such a great mix of flavours. They also sell many local snacks and drinks. Overall, we loved this place and it felt great trying out a new cuisine.Vegetarian options: Pupusas (flatbread made out of corn or rice flour) have many vegetarian selections. Two other dishes available for vegetarians.“
“One of my favorite dishes at Los Jarros is the vegetarian taco salad. It's made with a bed of lettuce, rice , black beans, pico, cheese, (add jalapenos for spice!) and sour cream. The star of the show, though, is the guacamole. It's made with fresh avocados, cilantro, onions, and tomatoes, and it's absolutely delicious. The whole meal is incredibly flavorful, and it's a great option for vegetarians or anyone looking for a lighter meal. I highly recommend it! Wonderful service every time i order“
