Food is incredibly amazing! I ordered a New York strip steak with a side of French fries and a house salad. The price was unbeatable; everything I ordered was under $40. My steak was Nicely cut, Nicely seasoned and I must say, I’ve been to some high-end steak restaurants in NYC, but this little gem is definitely better & worth it. The owner is also an incredible person.“

“Just wow! Having been to Taqueria Ramirez, I already knew the tacos at Carnitas Ramirez weren’t going to let me down. And they certainly didn’t! Every taco I had was outstanding. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the corn tortillas were top notch. There’s also a nice assortment of salsas and toppings at a DIY counter so you can dress them up however you like. Everyone was super friendly too. Absolutely worth the trip, and I can’t wait to return.“

“Taqueria on 10th was honestly an incredible dining experience! The food was absolutely amazing, authentic, flavorful, and you could immediately tell that the quality of the ingredients was top-notch. We ordered the carnitas tacos, steak tacos, nachos, elote, and churros, and everything was delicious. The tacos were packed with flavor, the nachos were loaded and perfectly balanced, and the churros were the perfect way to finish the meal.

The margaritas were INSANE and definitely some of the best we’ve had in NYC. A huge shoutout to Cesar, our bartender, for making such amazing drinks!

But what really made our experience stand out was the service. Louis, our server, was phenomenal—so attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely made us feel so welcomed throughout the entire meal. Excellent service can make such a difference, and Louis truly went above and beyond.

“This was the best Mexican meal I've ever had outside of Mexico City itself. Note that the food here is based on the cuisines of two Mexican states in the southern and central western parts of Mexico: Oaxaca and Jalisco. Two friends, my wife, and I really loved the tuna tostados, truffle esquites (street corn), arrachera, veggie tacos, and churros that were all part of the Power Lunch menu. We also enjoyed their Sangria and Gringo drinks. Our server, Sharon, was very frinedly and knew the menu well. My only minor nit was that she asked us how our appetizers were before we had even touched them. I highly recommend Kahlo to people who like flavorful food and would like to try a different kind of Mexican food.“

Nice atmosphere under natural light from skylight with low noise to comfortably chat and hear everyone from one end of the table to the other. We started with some guacamole which was super fresh and delicious. I had the Enmoladas Xico: 3 chicken enchiladas in a smokey and deeply flavorful mole sauce. And finally, the beautifully prepared desserts: a coconut flan, tres leches cake with toasted meringue, and an elote corn cake with caramel sauce and ice cream. We were blown away.“

“I cannot sing the praises of this place and the staff enough! We had a long day at the museum and we were all starving and the kids were very cranky. We took forever trying to find a place that they would all find something to eat at but that place didn't work out so we came here not realizing how lucky we were. After having a quick glance at the menu I realized two of my children would probably not eat anything. Two of the ladies that work there helped us work it out to piece together a meal for them with components they already have. It took quite a while figuring everything out but they were patient and helpful. The food was outstanding and the cocktails and mocktails were phenomenal. After looking at many places on Columbus that just didn’t thrill us, we were SO happy to find the incredibly delicious Mexican cuisine at Nina’s last night I had the Cochinita Pibil (with an orange habanero salsa on the side that will let you know who’s boss…) and my old friend had Enchiladas Mole with chicken. Excellent and authentic food with warm, friendly staff, and a great bar selection with many tequilas. Nina’s is great! Reasonable too! Glad to give credit where it’s due to this 7mo old establishment that I hope stays for many years! Will return for more!“

“Everything was good. The only complain i have is they give you only 90 min to eat and drink. After that time they just bring the check with out us asking and they refuse to keep serving you. They said they have others reservation and people waiting outside for your table. I think they should let you know when you do the table reservation or when you arrive to the place so you can have that on mind. We Drove 1 hr just to get there with a party of 6 and we were consuming all the time . So basically they kick us out.“

Went with a friend to try out Comal tonight and hmmm had a quite mid experience.

To start, the staff was kind but service was quite slow. Also when we arrived the iPad was dead so they didn’t have our res up until it was plugged in and booted up which left us standing awkwardly beside some others who were eating and was a little uncomfortable.

I had ordered an NA taller 116 drink and really did enjoy it! I think that some places have NA drinks but they are just syrupy sugar bombs… not the case here as it was a very balanced and enjoyable drink.

To start we had the bluefin aguachile, the sungold tomato salad (recommended by server), and the beef tartare. The beef tartare was incredible!! A must order if you go here… easily the best dish of the night as it was balanced and super tasty with the chapulines. I really enjoyed the bluefin aguachile as well, but my friend had said that the aguachile tasted “cheesy”. The most disappointing dish was the sungold tomato salad. The tomatoes were not sweet and were overall quite bland.

For the larger dishes we got the crunchy lobster, smoked chicken, and the salsa flight.

The salsa flight was great! Each of the 3 were very tasty and mixed well with the chicken. The chicken was easily the second best of the night behind the tartare. The chicken was SUPER tender and the smoking method is something not seen too much in NY at a restaurant. The adobo was incredible as well!! The crunchy lobster was not as good. The lobster was pretty soft and also came completely covered by greens to hide the small amount of lobster given. Overall also quite bland.
