“This the best and the only original pizza place left in the area that has not changed owners. I grew in oakhurst and have been going there since I was a kid in the 1980s.The owners are 2 brothers from Italyand have owned it since the day it opened it's doors.The food is always is always perfect and the portions are always plentiful.The brothers are some of the nicest people I have ever met in my Life.My wife and I would not go anywhere else. The place hasn't changed and it gives that great 80sPizza place feeling and if you expecta fancy restaurant this is a pizza place, not a country club.Re the comment that someone felt sick after eating their food, you'refull of it.Been going there for over 40 years.“

“A must when in Monmouth County. Thin, pastry like crust that has the perfect crisp, antipasta chopped or not, New England clam chowder to rival Boston. It is always busy and filled with both regulars and Bennies, anyone who manages to find this hidden gem along the Route 35 bridge by Belmar, will keep coming back. If you're bold, take their t-shirt challenge and eat an XL Pie to go home with pride.“

“Ordered delivery through Door Dash, the pizza was really good but they should require Dashers to use a pizza carrier to keep it warm. It arrived almost cold and we had to reheat it, which always makes it taste worse. I bet at the restaurant or with a faster delivery it would have been great.“

“Just got off phone with the kindest young woman on a (Saturday night mind you) who was so helpful and read me all the specials (I felt terrible even asking) and she knew the details of the plates. I love this place and btw thank you for having vegetarian options that are also absolutely delish!!! I love it. All. I recommend everything. Way to be awesome @frannys“

“We chanced upon this place the weekend before Thanksgiving on our way to a concert pretty far from our home. I'm glad we did. The food was great and they were very helpful getting us fed and out of there in plenty of time for our concert. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we'll stop by for sure.“

“As a born-and-raised Brooklyn girl, I have pretty high standards for pizza. Naples Pizzeria exceeded my expectations and I met my new favorite pizza: the cheesesteak pizza! Yum! The chicken cutlet is amazing and the Chicken Fusaro hero has become a go-to for my son and my husband and my daughter loves the chicken vodka park hero. The indoor renovations are a great improvement and it’s nice to have the option to eat at the picnic tables outside, too. The staff is also super friendly making it a great experience!“

“Our family and friends went to SL Pizza on Wednesday. It’s our #1 go to place when we’re in the Irish Riviera. Once again the food was awesome. The service was exceptional and kiddos goes to Alyssa and Hobey. We can not wait to revisit Spring Lake Pizza!“

Be prepared. This is the type of place where you want to look at the menu ahead of time. You order when you get to the counter and pay ahead of time. This was a really nice feature because when you're ready to go, you can just leave.
The views, the atmosphere, the ambiance and the food are all top notch. The smoked eggplant and pesto pie and the margarita pie were both amazing. The NA menu is lovely for someone like me who doesn't drink. All in all, we can't wait to become regulars here!“

“We spent the day at Capelli Sports complex for a lacrosse showcase. At the end of the event we had a long drive ahead. We ordered 3 pizzas to take with us on our drive. Everyone was so accommodating and made sure our delicious pizza was ready as soon as we we heading out! Thankful for the wonderful folks that work there and the great pizza!“

“They normally have as more thinner pizza, for their peppers and onion pizza, but today the pizza was a little thicker. So so good with the peepers and onions and with sausage onit. Very very good. I just wish the price was under $4 dollars, or I would have gotten 2 slices. Still was worth it for me though.

“This is a great place to sit and have a meal with a friend or family. I've been to Merendino's several times and each time I was treated with a very friendly, warm , welcoming demeanor. The staff and owners are very courteous and ready to please and serve. The food is very delicious I recommend the meatball sub with mozzarella 😎. Their pizza is very good too and tuna wrap is as well.
Kid-friendliness: Yes very kid friendly.“

“Ate here with my family after a day at the beach. We were a loud hungry bunch and the pizza did not disappoint. The pizza was hot and very fresh and the sauce was delicious. It was not greasy and the crust was just the right amount of crunchy. We will definitely be back!! Highly recommend!!!“

“I was in Allenhurst visiting a friend I hadn't seen since the early 70's in new orleans. We drove over to Serpico's & i gotta tell you... The Best pizza i had in a very long time! Hats off to you guys, i sure wish yall could deliver down here in New Orleans but come packing more heat than your pizza. Crime is horrible👍“

“Excellent kosher pizza (that does mean no sausage pepperoni or meatball toppings) and falafel. Even a cheese-less pizza option. Falafel is legit good, but f you need the heat of Mamoun’s or Halal Guys hot sauce, then you need to sneak your own. Ambience is basic pizza place - very family oriented so don’t be surprised if when you go there are French fries strewn here and there - I prefer one of the two outdoor tables weather permitting. Kosher market on the same block has an amazing candy section, so don’t miss out!
Dietary restrictions: Kosher so don’t expect ANY meat toppings
Kid-friendliness: If you have kids, this is the place to go“
