“Overall I had a good time with coworkers here for dinner. I was not impressed with the food. The meatball appetizer was very good actually, but the salmon with risotto entree was a definite No for me and another coworker who ordered the same dish.“

“We just had my daughter’s bridal shower there and everything was perfect. We chose the lunch buffet and the food was delicious. There was so much included and it was priced very reasonably. The room upstairs was very spacious for our group of 40 people. It was nice to have our own bathroom and bar. The servers were friendly and attentive and also very helpful. Thank you for making the day run so smoothly. It was perfect!!“

“Stopped by the newly opened Gigi’s in Long Branch on my way to the beach. First off, loved that they have a parking lot which didn’t stress me about finding a spot cause I was going to have that adventure when I headed to the beach. I ordered the grandma’s pie and garlic knots! The grandma’s pie had pesto on it and I am a s***** for pesto!! Love the crust style being crispy. Hands down the best garlic knots I ever had! Don’t sleep on this place. It’s 3 blocks from the beach, easy parking and they deliver. I look forward to some pasta dishes on my next visit! Other key likes of mine was the aesthetic, it’s beautiful Inside but decorated to make you feel outside. I was very impressed with the kid friendly atmosphere of the chalkboard wall, beanbag seats and they even have juice boxes on hand for the kiddos. They also accommodate our tweens and teens with a pizza wing mural for their insta! They really thought of everything. The whole staff were so accommodating and genuine. Thank you Tommy and Faye for a great experience.“

“One of our friend’s favorite restaurants, we braved the downpour and flooding to arrive early to a friendly welcome. Prompt service and a great menu, especially if you like seafood and plenty of other choices, beef, chicken, pasta and pork. The Appetizers were delicious as were the desserts. The carafe of house Pino Grigio was very good as was my Chianti. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, larger than I thought it would be with a very attentive staff. Definitely worth a number of visits to sample so many entrees.“

“My wife and I have dined at SF since it opened. We dined there yesterday, and had the pleasure of background music provided by a fine guitarist. In addition, for the first time in memory in a restaurant, we did not have our senses blasted by deafening and distorting amplification or pounding tympani. Instead of punishing us into submission, the music actually enhanced our dining experience. Why restaurants play insanely loud music at dining time is beyond me. But Scarborough Fair got it right.“

“This is a pretty good Neapolitan style pizza!
I wish they had a few more choices maybe with mozzarella di bufala (or some other classic toppings for this style such as prosciutto) and, more importantly, I wish they had delivery service available.
One thing to note is that they close the wood burning ovens after lunch and start using the electric ones during the afternoon/evening. At least, that is the case during the week. Not sure if it happens on weekends too. The pizza is still very good but there are a few differences when cooked in brick vs electric (I prefer brick-coal/wood fire)“

“Been going to Max’s since I was kid & they were on the Boardwalk. Still the best hot dog I’ve ever had. Also love their crispy onion rings, steak fries, zucchini fries & sweet potato fries. Other menu items look good however I cannot go to Max’s without getting their famous hot dog!“

“Swimcrush has a fun, laid-back beach vibe that fits Asbury Park perfectly. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the service was attentive throughout the meal, making for an enjoyable experience.
The food was good and well prepared, but in a town with so many outstanding restaurants, I’d describe it as slightly above average rather than a must-visit destination. The menu has something for everyone, but it didn’t quite stand out in Asbury Park’s highly competitive dining scene.
That said, if you’re looking for a casual spot with a relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, and a solid meal after (or during) a day at the beach or walking the boardwalk, Swimcrush is a good choice.“

“We’ve been going to Illiano’s nearly 36 years. It’s been great since day 1. We usually do takeout and find the pizza, subs and garlic knots to be the best in Monmouth County. When we moved out of town about 3 years ago we tried to find something that was comparable and closer, but that didn’t work out so make the trip back just about every Friday night. We highly recommend them!“
