The cake was amazing, beautifully done, delicious. The custard and fresh strawberries inside were refreshing and light. The buttercream wasn’t overwhelming but very delicate and airy. I am definitely going to order from here again.

“I’m honestly obsessed with these cookies. They are incredibly delicious and so appetizing. What I love the most is that I’m usually not into sweets at all, but these are just perfect.

They’re not overly sweet — just the right balance. The almond flavor is so rich and comforting, and the cherry adds this slight sour touch that makes everything come together beautifully. It’s such an amazing combination.

“I went in to buy a cake and they were pretty nice, a lady there immediately asked me what I was looking for and I got my cake in like 5 mins the cashier was kinda shy but nice as well. Only thing is that last time I got like some candles and they just taped it on the box so by the time I was walking home i didn’t even notice it had fallen off which was very sad but other than that service was good ❤️

I was looking to order a cake for a birthday, and I was impressed by their photos on Instagram as well as the flavor of the slices they had for sale (one of which I received as a gift). I drove twice in 2 days to grab cupcakes and cookies… I cannot say what’s my favourite out of the cupcake, the brownies, the cookies etc because everything was decadent and not too sweet. You taste the quality of the ingredients and the love they put while cooking them. The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. They’re on the expensive side compared to other bakery, but once you compare you understand why… You taste the butter in everything! “I can’t say enough good things about One the Cake. After an order error left me scrambling last minute, the owner went above and beyond to accommodate me and completely saved the day.

The cake was absolutely beautiful and unbelievably delicious — truly the first time ever that an entire cake was finished at a birthday dinner. Not a single slice left. We even shared it with the restaurant staff, and they were so impressed they asked where the cake was from because they couldn’t believe how good it was.

I live almost an hour away, but it is 100% worth the drive. I’ll be ordering from here for all upcoming birthdays without hesitation. Incredible service, stunning work, and amazing flavor. Highly recommend!“

“Went here for the first time this past weekend and I found it really nice. I heard the old chef of Sultan Bakery opened this place up so I wanted to try it out. The desserts here were amazing but the tea was average. It was also very packed so be warned. There is a free parking lot at the back.“

Steph did a fantastic job, the cake was delicious and we ordered cupcakes in another flavor to accompany the cake. I had sent her some ideas and photos and she went above and beyond. For the toppers of the cupcakes I thought she would just do an icing decoration, but she added sugar cookies and they came out so cute and complimented our theme perfectly! Thank you again!“

I called a 11 ice cream cake shops in the area only to be told that it was impossible without the right mold. One place even asked me to order a mold for them and they would see if they could make the cake but wanted to charge double for the effort. I randomly found this Carvel in Hackensack and after explaining what I wanted, one of the staff members brainstormed ways to make the cake come to life. There was no line and I quickly received my to-go order. The ham, egg, and cheese croissant was delicious- fluffy and flaky, not at all greasy, and the perfect cheese pull. “Capy Tres Leche Cake is seriously one of the best tres leches cakes I’ve had. The cake is soft and perfectly soaked, so it’s really moist without feeling too heavy. The sweetness is just right, and the creamy milk flavor really stands out in a good way. You can tell a lot of time and effort goes into making each cake.

I came with a 2 year old, she needed a diaper change, they told me the restrooms were closed to customers and only for staff. I got my little girl her ice cream and a guy who appeared to be a manager told us to get out because they dont allow indoor seating. it's a shame because the ice cream is great and it's a great location“

“I have ordered from carousel cakes several times now and let me tell you …they’re fabulous! They come frozen (which is actually so convenient) and they taste amazing. I’ve tried the rocky road cake, the key lime pie, napoleon cake and the banana chocolate mouse. All so delicious. Definitely defrost them the day before in the fridge and they come out perfect each time. So happy to find this gem and will continue to use them for all my events!“

“As always, this Carvel location is always my go to. Their staff is phenomenal, honestly the best out of all carvels I’ve gone to. I only order cakes from this location because their decorator is always on point when it comes to designing. My son loved his cake and so did everyone else. I’ve learned to just give a theme to the decorator because they always do an amazing job and I have come to trust and appreciate their creativity. And while the Icecream is delicious, this post is to mainly reflect the greatness of the staff and especially the decorators.“

“I've been coming to this location for year's, and I've experienced it transition from different owners. Thank God this new owner knows what he is doing. I ordered this cake last minute for my Christmas day dinner. I was expecting them to tell me that it was to short notice for them to have it ready by that date since I literally ordered it 4 day's before Christmas. But to my surprise they took my order and had it done on time. It was ready by the time I got there. The cake to say the least was exactly how I wanted it to be and looked stunning and well crafted. And it was nice and moist it tasted like pure vanilla so good and rich.“

“Although the presentation only looks good from one angle (bald spot in the back etc. SMH) the cake taste delicious not too sweet just right the blue frosting had everyone’s lips blue tho it didn’t taste like dye the guava filling was on point we truly enjoyed it. The total for the cake was $80 and it was ready on the date and time I requested. Would recommend just don’t get any pictures on your cake they need to get their skills up. The passion fruit dessert is a go as well.“
