“This was my first time ordering from here and they were so very kind. I ordered 5 pies for my son's class for an end of the year treat to be delivered to the school. They were incredibly thoughtful, took their time with me with my order. The pies needed to be delivered early for the class lunch at 11:30am and they guaranteed they could do that. And they certainly did by calling me at 11:28am that they were at the school. Thank you again for all your help, the pizza party was a big hit!!“

“I saw this restaurant on uber eats about a year ago. I have ordered from this restaurant several times at work via uber eats or door dash. Additionally, I realized a few months later that your restaurant is less than 5 min from where I live. I continually order and I refer this place to many people. Anytime I call the order in and have to pick it up, the service is great.
Today I ate inside for the first time and as always the food was delicious. Our waiter, Don was fantastic!
I will continue to order from here and I will refer the restaurant to others!!“

“I’ve been looking for a Neapolitan pizza place for a bit and I just happened to see one in my own neighborhood! The pizza was incredible. The dough was perfect and the toppings complemented eachother really well. Staff was so warm and welcoming. It’s a cute little spot and feels cozy and comfortable inside. Will be coming back! “My son has food allergies and as soon as we started inquiring about ingredients, the associate called for their designated allergy handler. Before we even got into his specific allergies, she wiped down the prep area, changed her gloves and showed us their allergy binder. She prepped everything right in front of us and chose ingredients from under the counter as to avoid cross contamination. Bravo, Jiya! When casually talking with the owner, he mentioned having friends with food allergies so he definitely understood the severity of being diligent with prep. We were so impressed by the process, we ate here twice on our trip. And yes - the pizza was quite delicious!“

“If you are looking for GOOD NY style pizza, you need to try Nonno's. There are many pizzerias in the Clifton / Nutley area, but in my opinion the pizza here is one of the best I have had. Sauce is favourable. Cheese is good quality unlike some places where they fall off the moment you pick up the slice. Service is super friendly and accommodating. “Had Tagliata (steak) with mushrooms and spaghetti w/clam sauce. SOOOO GOOD! Clams tasted fresh; spaghetti was delightfully Al Dente. Steak was cooked medium rare, tender, and delicious, and the mushrooms were bursting with flavor. Waitress Ersa gave us great recommendations and was professional and courteous. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!“

“Hi, just wanted to say. How great this place is. I ordered on Satuday. They forgot to add my 2 chicken empanadas to my pick up oder. I called and left a message but they were closed. I called on Monday spoke to Stepanie and she was very apologetic. She suggested i pick them up. Which I did. Long story short. They replaced it with 4 empanadas. Great customer service. “After finishing the kids' new school registration, we stopped by this pizza place for lunch. It was probably the first lunch I'd ever had in this neighborhood. We'd just finalized the house contract, so I'd taken a bus from a hotel in New York City to get here early in the morning.

Both my kids and I wanted a slice of Margherita pizza. But they only had two slices left! I was about to just order something else. But a kitchen staff member who was about to take a break came back in and made us a pizza. They willingly baked a whole new pizza just for one slice of Margherita. That pizza was so delicious, I still can't forget the taste of that Margherita. We were hungry and tired, but it tasted even better because of the staff's kindness in baking a fresh pizza just for us, for that one slice.

Since then, we've become regulars here and still order the Margherita pizza. And honestly, the pizza is truly delicious. It's not just because we feel grateful that we keep coming back.“

“First time visiting this gem after roaming the area for a good slice. I had them heat up a cheese, famous Giuseppe, and pepperoni slices. All were extremely delicious, thin, and crispy. Just the way I like it. I’m not quite sure what the crust from their special pies are but I LOVE it. The undercarriage is like a thin focaccia style bread. I sat down on the patio as well which kept me nice and cool throughout the experience. Oh and I got a complimentary drink for dining in!

Most importantly, Mr Jack Calandra served me (and my dog with two slices of raw pepperoni) and he was nothing but amazing to say the least. We got to chat a bit and he gave me quick story of how this spot and its specials pies.

“Went for dinner. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, devoting just the right amount of time to us. We ordered cesear salad to start, seafood fra diavolo, and the butternut squash ravioli with broccoli rabe and shallots in brown butter. The salad was crisp and dressed nicely, with shaved Parmesan and croutons. But the highlight was the seafood fra diavolo. The seafood was so fresh, plentiful, and the heat was just right. The platter was full of seafood and all of it was delicious. The butternut squash ravioli was stuffed full of puree and simply melted in your mouth. The broccoli rabe was somewhat bitter, but the shallot and brown butter sauce balanced it out. Both entrees were a nice portion size. We ordered pizzepoles for dessert which came with Nutella and raspberry dipping sauce. They came in the traditional brown paper bag for shaking to distribute the powdered sugar and they were hot and fresh. The atmosphere is upbeat with plenty of seating in comfortable chairs or bench seating. Lighting is good and music is not too loud. We were pleasantly surprised by our bill at the end despite having waited a little longer for the check than we liked, but we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will be back to try some of the delicious pizzas we saw come out of the oven. They didn’t but they created it by carrying a table and chairs outside for us - talk about customer service! I wanted my husband who’s from Baltimore to try zeppole, he’s never heard of it and for me, growing up in Bk and Staten Island it was one of my childhood favs. They didn’t have any made when I asked about it which was fine but while I was in conversation with their delivery driver the owner came out with some. He actually went out of his way to make me some zeppole, and it was delicious and extremely nostalgic for me. He has no idea how that made my day and brought back so many memories to me. “This place gives off that run-down beat up pizza joint vibe, but it’s actually pretty solid. The pizza’s definitely way too greasy, but it's good. Prices for slices are overpriced but prices for pies are very fair. Being open late is a huge plus in this area. Far from the best pizza around, but it’s one of those spots you end up going back to anyway. sometimes the staff is in a great mood and helpful and sometimes they look cooked.
