“Definitely a bit of a little Greek sidewalk cafe feeling. It's located right in the middle of the mall corridor near the Apple store. Coffee is excellent and a good selection of yummy bakery items. Try their Spinach, Cheese or Mediterranean Pie slices. Nice seating area with eight little round tables. Great for people watching. Quick and friendly service.“

This little place is tucked-away on the second floor by the checkout lanes of the Food Bazaar grocery store, so don’t give up on trying to find it. They have a clean marble counter seating area overlooking the corner of 125th St and 3rd Ave with a nice open view. The owner/manager even came over to check in with me. Overall, a great experience!“

“You really can’t beat getting authentic Greek breakfast in Bloomfield. The spanakopita and Koulouri are amazing. I love the tsoureki French toast, which is really made with tsoureki bread. The pricing is great and they provide service through DoorDash, which is a plus. I can’t recommend this place enough.“

“I walked in here after a long shift at the ER. I was so tired and was greeted by this lovely smiling woman. She explained the entire menu to me. I needed it. I asked for whatever her favorites were, and took home the platter. She was so incredibly kind!! Then I took home my food and it was delicious. Will definitely be returning. “It is probably the Best Greek restaurant in the whole Bergen County. I was impressed with the layout, the waiters were very helpful, and gave us the best advice, even for the pickiest of us. After the Greek salad, crisp zucchini, and grilled calamari, the Pastitsio, Moussaka, and seafood Giouvetsi all cooked in clay pots filled us up, but then the lamb chops with lemon potatoes arrived, and nobody could resist them. For dessert we had a platter of galaktobureko"milkpie" and one called ekmek, that we could not decide which was the best. We will definitely come back, but we better fast in advance.“

“Our group from Grace Episcopal Church of Rutherford had a remarkable time at our "Brunch Group Outing" on Wednesday, August 14th. Everybody enjoyed their meals, with most of us taking some home. The servings were abundant and tasty, and the wait staff was attentive and sensitive to our needs. Your place was a great choice for this event. “We went to Samdan Mediterranean Restaurant on our last day in New York. We went with 2 kiddos under 10 and ordered the chicken nuggets for them. For the adults, we ordered falafel, tabouli and hummus for an appetizer, and both were very good, had lots of flavor though the portions were smaller than we expected and we needed to ask for the Nan bread.

We followed up with the sultan platter for the table, and it came with rice, we also ordered a bruschetta salad. The portion for the platter was more than enough for 4 adults, and it had an assortment of meats, including lamb, chicken. We accompanied the meal with a bottle of red wine and found the pricing and portion sizes to be good for our group.

Overall, great atmosphere and place to have a nice dinner out for a group of adults.“

“Having moved to NJ from Brooklyn we were looking for a great Turkish restaurant as we missed Turkish food and Bosphorus was beyond incredible! My partner is Turkish and I’ve eaten all over Türkiye. This place is top notch!! We had Iskender Kebap, Adana Kebap, and the Shepherd salad. Amazing! I think my heart sung! The Adana kebab was one of the best I’ve ever had. It has a wonderful spicy kick and cooked to perfection. The tzatziki (cacık) yogurt base on the side was perfect to bring down the heat. The Iskender Kebab was absolutely delicious. The Sheppard salad was perfect and the feta was so fresh it melted in your mouth. I can not wait to return here. The restaurant is family run and the owner was absolutely lovely! We promised to return and we shall. Prices did feel a tiny bit on the higher end but it’s honestly so worth it!“
