“Usually I would walk past Chain restaurants since not a fan. I am an absolute fan however of any restaurant that has consistent great customer service on all fronts from supervisor to the kitchen crew. The cleanliness and layout also wonderful. They have self service if you are the type in a rush however my preference is to deal with people . I can only say be patient when waiting for someone to assist but overall great experience each time so far.“

The shrimply the best tacos, which was originally on a tostada last summer, was just as amazing, but didn’t sit as heavy as a tostada. Love the move to a light tortilla. The Mexi-Avo toast was so filling and the flavors melted together so nicely. Don’t forget the decor inside is so cozy, boho/havana vibe and perfect for a date or girl’s brunch. 10/10“

“I love having a Dominican bakery so close. Everything we’ve had there has been FABULOUS!!! Honestly, some of the best coconut macaroons I have ever had and that includes ones I’ve had in DR. I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly. Next time I need to try the pastelitos (empanadas).“

I had halloumi cheese seasoned with zatar and well grilled with honey and I had a cortada to drink. the whole experience was so perfect and it really made me feel so satisfied. “The Fro Yo cafe in Matawan is my happy place. I love the decor and the nostalgic atmosphere. The frozen yogurt is delicious and authentic and the topping bar is always so clean and organized with lots of variety. I especially appreciate that the fresh fruit is consistently high quality. Their attention to detail with customer service is exemplary! It's the little things, like having a plastic rewards card instead of a paper one and the more premium cup and spoon option, that make Fro Yo Cafe such an enjoyable experience. The staff are really accommodating, helpful, and friendly! I recently went in when Sydney and Derek were working and they both made my experience so seamless and positive. Sydney goes the extra mile to assist customers and is clearly very competent at her job. It does not seem like any of these details should matter at a frozen yogurt cafe, but honestly coming to Fro Yo Cafe can be the highlight of my week sometimes. “I went to this cafe for the first time with my friends and I found it very enjoyable. The poke bowls and tea are delicious although it can be a bit pricey. They have 3 ordering stations and private seating places which are perfect for studying but a bit dark lowkey. They also have free water which is a blessing. Parking is also easy to find🙏.“

“I was doing another errand around the area and needed coffee but didn’t want Dunkin.

This place looks like a rest stop restaurant. It’s connected to a pizzeria and bakery i think.

But I will say……. I had the BEST cold brew here. So flavorful and had sugar free syrups!

I got the cold brew with oatmilk and sugar free vanilla syrup and I finished the whole thing!

I typically only drink half my coffee due to acid reflux but man, the woman who made my drink. THANK YOU.

“Lifehack - although you need a membership to use the facilities inside the YMCA, anyone can come in and get their snack fix (workout optional).

Its a small cafe, but offers enough essentials. They sell pizzas, empandas, burgers, fries... as well healthy juice bar and variety drink options.

But their main feature is the acai bowls - acai, pitahaya or coconut base options. There's a handful of pre-built choices (loaded with fruits, granola, nutella or peanut butter) or create your own. Quick and efficient and beautifully prepared... our Berrytella and Dragon Kiwi bowls came out fresh and delicious.

It’s a small place, with tables. A surprisingly large menu, with lots of choices. Gabriela took our order, which was made on the spot and well packaged for the trip home.
