“Very good take-out Chinese food option for the area. Food is hot and cooked well, with a variety that is typical of Chinese take-out. We enjoyed their fried rice, orange chicken, and steamed chicken with broccoli. The fried dumplings were on the oily side, so we’ll probably get them steamed for our next order. Prices have remained reasonable over the years.“

“I was at first excited when Dao Madison moved into town and even more excited when I was told they can accommodate gluten free as I have celiac. After several miss steps with mixed up orders, Dao is now cooking on all cylinders. We recently were there with friends and everyone loved it. Moreover, they have successfully accommodated my need to eat gluten free (I have celiac) several times, and have been pro active in suggesting what is easier and safer to make gluten free. “My family and I come here all the time for large family gatherings. The food is absolutely phenomenal here, especially the pecking duck buns and sweet and sour pork. We also love the soy sea bass, crispy chicken, ginger scallion lobster, pork chops and corn egg drop soup. One time we brought them king crab legs to cook and they cooked all of our king crab legs to perfection!! I don’t usually write google reviews but this place is so special to me and my family and adore this spot. The service is so fast and attentive and they are kind enough to provide free dessert whether that be fresh oranges, fresh fruit or even sometimes sweet red bean soup! “New Ho King kitchen Chinese food to take out or deliver is absolutely delicious.
Whether you're picking up or having it deliver, the food is always piping hot. Their Szechuan Beef is perfectly flavorful, with the right amount of spice. The vegetable Lo Mein is incredibly fresh and not greasy. The portions are generous, and the pricing is reasonable for the quality.
The staff is always super friendly and efficient. This is definitely our favorite for Chinese takeout!

“This Chinese restaurant is a hidden gem. The food was outstanding. The dumplings were delicate and filled with delicious fillings. The Sweet and Sour Pork was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right balance of sweet and sour flavors. The restaurant also pays attention to detail in presentation. However, I was displeased to see that we were charged for six portions of rice when we ordered four dishes totaling $90. An incredible loss to Pompton Lakes and the many customers who called Golden Garden their regular place. I did for well over 10 years. Please keep the two wonderful ladies, if you are a regular you know who I mean, in your thoughts as they and their families chart a course forward and eventually come back from this devastating loss. “One of our favorite sushi spots in NJ!! They use environmentally sustainable packaging and almost always give us something “on the house” usually either some crab Rangoon, or a few extra pieces of different kinds of sushi to try.
They recently took their sweet and sour chicken off the menu which was a bummer since it was sooo good and crispy, but it got my picky eater to branch out and try sushi and he ended up loving it! Hands down the most bang for your buck sushi spot in the area. I would order takeout from here every night if I could! Can’t rave about Epoch enough!“

“I’ve been ordering Chinese takeout back to living in Brooklyn for 20+ years. In almost all Chinese restaurant reviews, people always complain about delivery and how many shrimp they got. Just order pick up and don’t go to pricy places if u want to avoid being disappointed. I’ve bought from Madison Wok for 15 years now and never had a late order when ordering pick up here (usually 15 mins). The food tastes exactly as my local restaurant when I was a kid, so I can’t complain. For the price, consider how little you are paying for the amount of work and manpower going into it •• esp since it’s done so fast. Dao nearby has slightly less oil and flavor for a lot more money. I wanted to like it but just poor value since your deliver or pick up order price needs to support the wait staff. No American style Chinese food is healthy for you so stop thinking you’re doing something good by paying someone extra to do less oil, msg, etc. in summary, this is an old school place that gives you the standards for the least amount of money you’ll pay in this zip code. Not something to eat everyday, but when you need your fix for this kind of stuff. I recommend the pork dumplings, fried wings, curry chicken, wonton soup and any fried rice, plus the chow fun and generals chicken. My 3 kids never complain and no one has ever been sick. Sometimes I’m not crazy about the amount of meat but remember that I’m not paying $15 or $20 for a pint here, and the low prices are supporting a skeleton crew.“

“Man, this was our first time ordering from here. We live in a nearby town and the Chinese food is just really not great here, however I’m happy that we found Panda world in Butler. The food is very good. I especially enjoy the crab rangoon and fried dumplings. I had it delivered so I can’t comment on the atmosphere but the food was excellent and I used Uber eats since we live about 15 minutes away. Delivery was quick, food was priced well, cooked well, and tastes great. I did notice like one of the other comments said, there are no utensils in the bag, but it didn’t bother us much because we are home, with our own. I would have been pissed if I was like, somewhere without. Other than that, great!“

“I just love going to Master Wok at Rockaway mall! It's a bit of a drive, about 25 minutes from my home, but let me tell you, the food is so good. My favorites are the Barbecue pork and the Chicken & Broccoli. They're simply delicious! You can get two meats with fried rice or lo mein for just $9.35. I called for delivery 1/2hr before closing. They were very kind on the phone and at delivery, even though it was at closing. The food arrived hot and VERY DELICIOUS!! The only downfalls were that the General Tso's were a bit soggy but that was from the steam in the container. I understand that. The other downfall was that I wish I ordered more!! The General Tso's, egg rolls, pork fried rice ( it had plenty of veggies for fried rice) and cheese wonton were all very tasty. THANK YOU for the great food and service!!
