“A lot of places don't live up to the hype. That is not the case with Surreal. From the second we walked in, we were greeted, and asked if it was our first visit. The employee that helped us was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We were offered samples and suggestions. Our customer experience alone was worth the trip. The Thai milk tea was the best I have ever had. I was offered a sample of the taro ice cream (not something I would have ordered on my own) and WOW. It might have been the best ice cream I have had. Needless to say I ordered one. Check it out, my entire family enjoyed their orders too. Absolutely worth the trip.“
“Had a very lovely trip to the store. Was attended to by Micheal and he really took the time talk with us and show us the merchandise. Took time to get our full order with no rushing and even enrolled us in the rewards program for a free chocolate. Chocolate is very tasty and worth the cost, great for gifts and they also sell mini chocolate that is very well priced.“

“We visited while in the area and found both the food and service to be outstanding. The sushi was very fresh and there are some inventive rolls on the menu. They have several tea options, one of which is the Flower Tea, a beautifully fragrant mix of organic leaves of jasmine, rose, lavender, chamomile and marigold which my daughter and I found to be soothing and totally hit the spot on a chilly rainy night. “I went there recently and I got the Hot Fudge sundae, OMG, it was really delicious. It actually tasted like homemade soft serve ice cream that had a lot of chocolate flavoring to it. It’s definitely one of the best ice cream places I’ve ever been to in my life. I’ll definitely be going back there in the future. They even have different flavors of soft serve ice cream tree am, most places only have chocolate, twist and vanilla, but this place doesn’t just have that. I rated my sundae a 10/10“

After a hearty dinner at home, we couldn't resist the temptation for dessert, especially after hearing so much about their mango delights. They have soo many flavors, great service and always very clean. Its also in a really great part of town which is very convenient for me. Shorter wait, faster service, and you wait in a conditioned space to avoid summer heat and winter cold. Also, you get to see each of the flavors before you order. Here, you just go by the list and hope you picked right. So call me spoiled, because I live next to the best ice cream in North Jersey and here is only second best. But the noise of Route 23 and nowhere to really sit and enjoy yourself - it gets to me. 5 star ice cream if you're taking out, but don't even think about eating in. Oh, and don't order Italian ice. It was pricy but the portion was respectable and the flavor was great.I am not picky about pistachio flavor - I love cheap artificial pistachio flavor just as much as authentic pistachio flavor. Its first a crunch than light like rice. They come in different flavors. The flavoring is in the icing. I got mango and caramel. The Carmel was excellent. The mango was good but not my favorite. The woman in the store was very polite. They also have mochi ice cream and Korean hotdogs. I didn't try either. I will be back and suggest you try it too. They have two other locations. The place was very clean.“

This former Stewart's location in Denville, now known as Denville Dog & Grill, brings back some welcome nostalgia with its outside ordering, outside tables, and delicious hot dogs! I ordered one dog with onions and sauerkraut, and the other a chill cheese dog. The chili cheese dog was the better choice...delicious and the chili had a real kick to it. To top it off, they still serve Stewart's root beer! It was a beautiful day so it was fun sitting outside. Service was very friendly. Big parking lot. Fun choice!“

“Rita's fan for many years. Unfortunately the few around us closed down. Glad we found this one which is a few minutes away from our son's school. We almost always get the mango gelati (mango water ice with soft serve custard. They taste the same no matter which one you go to. The custard is very rich and smooth and it may not sound like a good combo but it's great when combined with mango ice. It also became our 4 year old's favorite dessert. He actually doesn't care much about ice cream but he likes Rita's. Staff is always nice. They have benches in front of the parking spot which is pretty smart.“

“My sister and I went to this location for lunch and while the food is good, the chairs are absolutely HORRIBLE if you’re dining in.We had ordered our food on an iPad, took a number and sat at a table. The food took about 10 minutes and a “server” took it to our table. About 15 minutes later she actually came back to check in and ask how everything was which was surprising but really a nice touch.The cheese fries are so good and were crispy. The single burger was a bit salty but honestly very flavorful and the lettuce and tomato were fresh. My sister said her cookies and cream shake was really good too - overall our meal was good but expensive, $40 for 2 cheese fries, 2 single burgers, a coke, and a milkshake.My only complaint was the chairs - absolutely horrendous. Prepare for your back to hurt (just look at the angle of the seat, who designed those?) it’s almost like they were designed so you eat quick and get out.Parking: Plenty of parking around the building and handicap parking off to the side“
