“Ok, me and my partner was looking for a café and she googled cafés in the area and this one came up
So we decided to visit this Cafe28 and we loved it right when we walked in
We fell in love with the atmosphere
The food and service we give 💯
The cuban sandwiches and empanada are awesome
The expresso and coffee are amazing
The prices is very good as well
Juan, & his wife are very attentive to the customers needs and very warm hearted
If anyone is like us and love cafés who are in the area we definitely recommend that you stop in and give Cafe 28 a visit.

“The decor at Victors Cafe was absolutely stunning! I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and classy it felt, with a wonderful tropical vibe. Our waiter was truly phenomenal, constantly checking in on us and being incredibly attentive. And the food and desserts were simply amazing. “I've been here several times but, this was the first time I asked for veggie paella & asked them to add shrimp °•~ It was so good !!!

“The food we ordered from Casa Cubana for the surprise 50th Birthday party we hosted was a HIT! Everyone told us the food was delicious. They even provided serving utensils. We had black rice with beans (Moro), pork shoulder (Pernil), chicken and steak skewers, garlic shrimp, chicken and beef empanadas and sweet plantains. And yes, all of it was mouthwatering good. I was sold when I went for a quote and was given a chicken empanada to sample. So juicy! I highly recommend them for your next event, lunch or dinner. The cafe they have is lovely and the customer service is 10/10. You won’t be disappointed.“

“I ate at this restaurant during my Christmas vacation visit to New York. It is fantastic! The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is so tasty. It was better than the big advertised restaurants. If you want a real delicious meal and some great music while you eat, go to this place. It's a hidden gem.“

“My ethnicity is Cuban American and this restaurant checked off all the boxes for me.
I ordered the Oxtail which they served me 4 large pieces that were very flavorful and tender.
Yucca fries were nice and crunchy , I requested a small bowl of Cuban mojo to dip my yucca fries.
The white rice and black beans were very good.
Staff very attentive.“

“Came in around 3 PM on a weekday — totally empty, no reservations needed. I had the churrasco with rice and beans, chicken empanadas, shrimp skewers, and a peach margarita. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. No complaints! Oh! And the peach margaritas are exactly what you need before the meal and after.“

“I drive a lot for work and I’m constantly looking for nice wam plate of food! Usually I order to go! When I walked in the place is so cute that I thought it might be allowed to order and go! I was greeted nicely and they had no issues with my request! I paid around what I pay at other places for ox tails. I asked for it to be with Moro. My food came out with Moro on the side, beans, and white rice and the ox tails! But also, added plantain chips, and two cookies! I thought that was a great little gift! I’ll be back to dine here again“

“This was my first visit here. (I previously have had delivery on a couple of occasions and the food was very good.) Despite being a little early for our reservations and the place being very busy, we were seated immediately at the outdoor table I had requested in the reservations. The cocktails didn't take that long to be brought and were very good. The fried calamari appetizer (tapas) was outstanding- each piece perfectly crispy and not one piece was chewy. The sweet chili sauce worked very well with a mild heat in the middle of the tongue surrounded by sweetness. My wife enjoyed the jamon croquettas despite it lacking any sort of aioli or dipping sauce. My main dish of the deep fried Red Snapper was perfectly crisp on the outside, moist and tender inside and all around tasty. My wife enjoyed her fired cheese mofongo. Dessert of guava cheesecake and also the flan were good as well. Overall, service was good and the maitre d' walks around checking in on guests which is a nice touch. Overall, I thought the prices were very reasonable and you get nice size portions making it a good value. Just be aware that inside is fairly large and can get loud. Their windows are thick and outside you only really hear it when the door opens. Considering we live across the street and stare at the place from our windows, we'll be back, likely often.“

“Small corner store w some seating. Their Cuban sandwich is fantastic, especially with sausage. Love the steak sandwich as well super simple but everything just works so well together to create a great sandwich. By the way their coffee is excellent as well“

“I've been craving a good Cuban sandwich and finally stopped at Montunos. The Cuban sandwich was fresh and delicious! They add garlic butter to the sandwich, which enhanced the flavor. The pernil is well-seasoned, moist, and tender. I would definitely go back just for this sandwich. My husband had fried chicken from the buffet with yuca con mojo and tostones. My only minor suggestion would be to offer a mojo with the tostones, but aside from that, the food and service were excellent.“

“We came to The Cuban in Union City to celebrate my stepfather’s birthday, and everything about the experience was amazing! Our server, Asiria, was absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, and thoughtful with every little detail. She really made us feel welcome.

The team even surprised us with a birthday song and a flan, which was such a sweet and memorable touch! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was vibrant with great music playing in the background.

“I think that Rumba Cubana is so successful because, among other things, the staff is incredible and the food is delicious.
I have been to their different locations, but this past Saturday, I was in the vicinity of this particular one and decided to go for dinner. The place was packed and we had to wait a few minutes, but it was worthwhile.
I would like to send a shoutout to Matias for being extra accommodating. Thank you for understanding our particular situation and for finding us a table.
My friend and I had the chicken soup and the montaditos for appetizers. Then I had the arroz con pollo and my friend had the chuletas with rice and black beans. As always, the food was delicious, the portions were sufficient to take a little bit home for later and the service...the service is always magnifico.
I will definitely keep going back to Rumba and I recommend it highly.“

“A big shout out to my best latin place in Hoboken: Chango Kitchen. Traditional yummy latin dishes. Our faves are churrasco con chimichurri (skirt steakgrilled) and ropa vieja (shredded beef). My kids loved "alfajores with dulce de leche", "tres leches" and hot chocolate with when it's cold outside. Service is warm and friendly. We can visit the place multiple times and never get tired. #supportlocal“

“Hace poco hice un pedido para un evento social familiar por un valor de $540 pero decidí pagar con mi tarjeta de crédito, obviamente me cobran el impuesto tax 6.625% de venta, sin embargo, tuvieron el descaro de cobrarme un 2.9% adicional por el uso de la tarjeta de crédito. “We chose this restaurant out of the blue after a long day traveling and walking around downtown. This was a great restaurant... fresh, delicious food, great service and atmosphere. I highly recommend Havana Central Times Square for a casual dining experience for couples and families!“

“The food was extremely flavorful and delicious. If I am back in NJ I will come back for sure.
As a vegetarian I got served a meal that had meat in it. It was a large order so I don't fully fault them. I'm sure if I had ordered on my own they would have said something.

“The service makes you feel special—very warm and attentive, as if you’re a guest in someone’s home. The prices cannot be beat. I had a croqueta de jamón and found it bland. The cortado was heavier on milk than typical. The atmosphere was diner-like— not fancy, old school, embracing a theme of indigenous America including a very interesting & unique mural. Although I didn’t love what I ate on my first visit, I will come back if I’m in the area for a different meal.“

“Great food and great service. The food reminds me of home and is reasonably priced. We keep coming back for the ox tail stew, ribs, beef steak, porkchops, dumplings and the boneless chicharonnes de pollo. Most meals are served with white or yellow rice and beans or vegetables. If you want to try something different, they have the beef liver and squid ink fried rice which remind me of squid ink Paella. The combination meals are a great option to try out different dishes. The staff and owners always greet you with a warm welcome.“

“This place is one of the best places to have a healthy lunch in West New York. I am amazed that it doesn't have any review yet. I tried fish and also lunch specials twice out three times being there, I recommend fish and cow tail. A nice girl works there having very helpful attitude toward customers (unfortunately I don't remember her name but you will find her at lunch). You might have a little bit of problem communicating in english, but all of the times that I had lunch there, they prepared exactly what I meant. A meal size was more than enough for me and I am not skinny, unhealthy or anything. Did I mention the price? it is worth every penny.“

They never asked if I wanted to go or to stay, they gave it to me in ‘to go’ packaging and told me I can’t sit inside, which was weird. Especially for an empty restaurant on a Wednesday at 3pm.
