They offered us extra sauce and utensils and were willing to help my husband take the tray and drinks to the car.“

“Small place ran by a lovely couple with all the signature classic Romanian dishes! This place is a complete hidden gem! The eggplant salad starter is just like my grandmother and mother make, the meats are excellent - portion sizes are huge and everything tastes like a solid Romanian place on my visits to Romania. The star today was the Papanasi - a classic Romanian cheese donut! One of the best I had ever! Highly recommended! Will definitely come again!“

“I love Cubbys! From the food to the staff, it is always a great experience eating there. The pulled pork and sliced steak sandwiches are my all time favorites and my usual go-tos. The restaurant has a very homey vibe to it and feels more welcoming than a lot of restaurants. The food is pricey, but they make up for it in portion size (massive) and food quality. If you are looking for a place to eat with the family, I recommend eating here.“

Also tried the fries, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw as sides and can't complain about any of them. The one drawback was the jumbo shrimp was a bit on the salty side. Parking in the back. Pricing is great especially these days. All the food is made to order so be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes if you order there but it's def worth it. They have a high chair as well for those who need one.“

“I just wanted to clarify myself to the worker in that restaurant especially the one in the front. We went at the restaurant today around 2pm. We went inside the restaurant and did not talk right away to let them know we were 2 customers, instead I stopped for a second and checked if we went to the right door. The worker in the front thought that we went in there to look for a guy and be with guy and do something. I just wanted to let that worker in the front know that we went there to eat and not to look for a guy. When we finished eating, that worker in the front got replaced with a young guy. I just don’t want the worker in there to think that we went there to look for a guy. We love to go to the church. Now a days, it is very important to do the right thing. We have a song in the church “choose the right.” Don’t judge the people by just physical appearance.
But other than that, the food was delicious. I highly recommend the restaurant.“

“Everything is good for takeout, they are fast, at most 10 minutes waiting, for an order of 20 dollars they eat up to 3 and it is good and delicious, the problem is when eating at the premises, they charge like 15% for service, it is not convenient.. ..there is no parking, you have to park around it.“

“This small diner is serving huge flavor, and I'm here for it! Stopped by for this chicken and sausage combo, which came with half a chicken, a thick sausage link, rice, and beans, all for just $15! The chicken was charred grilled and smoky, the sausage was very meaty and svaory, and the rice and beans were just top notch. I also added some sweet plantains and they were nice, firm, and just the right amount of sweet.

The whole experience felt like you're eating at someone's house. Very reasonably priced, great service, and I can't wait to come back!

“Not to say every time I visit Carlitos everyone is so welcoming and sweet their fish tacos are the star of the menu. I’m a very picky eater and yesterday I happen to request something special and that’s never been requested. I ordered fish with everything that goes on top of the taco except the tortilla with their spicy mayo sauce on the side it’s something different that’s not in the menu (not my first time doing special request that aren’t in the menu). So anytime you need to make any adjustments or special request let them know. Thank you to everyone at Carlitos for always making my experience with them so great and special!!“

“Ordered for the first time today through Uber Eats. Had I ordered just the chicken I would have given 5 stars. The best Portuguese style chicken I’ve had in a long time. It was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The beef ribs (short ribs) were also good, just a little tough as it was sliced a bit thick and was slightly undercooked so that made it a bit chewy but had good charcoal flavor. The sweet plantains were the best I’ve had from a restaurant, perfectly caramelized. Beans, fries and coleslaw also good. Ordered the flan but I’m so stuffed I’ll have to wait to see how that is. This is a keeper for sure and I would love to order from them when having a crowd for dinner.“
