“They hooked me up! Delicious food; good portions. I usually get oxtail from Jamaican restaurants. I'd say it's one of the top of the restaurants I've eaten from.

That said, oxtail is generally an expensive meat to buy and can be hard to cook right. So, it can be difficult to find places like this that give you a decent amount. And I've orderd from them a few times, so I can say their potion size is generally consistent from what I've seen.“

“Not the older women but that lady at the counter needs to be fired. Her attitude , her appearance is sooo gross that as much as I like the food it makes me spend less money in this establishment. Asking for any more sauces, chicken , utensil can send her off the deep end and because she’s is dealing with your food you are forced to play nice. The first time I figured she was having a bad day or her husband left her for that bad attitude which I can understand but it’s every SINGLE time. Put the older women back at the register please before we lose it . Thank you“

“I had an amazing experience here. The food is truly authentic and tastes like real home-cooked Jamaican meals. The curry goat is exceptional—perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor. The rice and peas with the brown rice was absolutely amazing and paired perfectly with the meal.

What also stood out was the service. The staff is patient, welcoming, and very helpful. They take the time to explain the dishes if you have questions and are incredibly flexible and accommodating. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the experience they provide.

Everything was perfect from the food to the service. If you are looking for authentic Jamaican cuisine and great hospitality, I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be coming back.

“My partner and I decided to try this place based on the reviews and let me tell you it did NOT disappoint! We ordered the large jerk chicken meal, macaroni and cheese, and small chicken soup! This is a hole in the wall spot! Our food was DELICIOUS! I will 100% be ordering again but a LARGE chicken soup. The soup had so much flavor and the chicken just slipped off the bone! The mac also had so much flavor and was so good! The jerk chicken was a bit spicy for me but I don’t have a high tolerance to spice. My partner said it was good! He couldn’t decide what part was his favorite and said he would go back again! The service was great! Next time you get gas, help yourself to some hearty, home cooked Jamaican food!!“

“All of their food is good here but the Oxtail Mac n Cheese beef patty here is absolutely mouthwatering and sensationally great. You've gotta come and get it. Don't mind the $12.99 price lol It's worth every penny and more. You'll crave it Everytime after tasting it. It's Oxtails and Mac n Cheese in a beef patty wrapped with cocobread. Pay no attention the the Carbs and calories either lol. Just make sure to exercise and enjoy! I don't even care about the beef patty anymore after eating this. Everytime going forward it's the oxtail Mac n Cheese beef patty for me.

“First off, I want to say that I never planned on stopping in. I was in the area because I was touring and Dean greeted me with a smile and a wave from the window. When I came back around and let him know I was interested in the menu options, he started tell me about his discounts and promotions. Unfortunately most of those things were meet, and I'm vegetarian so I asked if he had any vegetarian options and that I was hoping for patty and plantain.

He told me he did have callaloo+ kale and an ackee patty. He made them himself, and even gave me a complimentary drink. I chose sorrel, one of my favorite drinks growing up.

He packed them neatly and gave me some extra bag so I could carry it, and when I finally got to the house I was able to take a bite of each patty. At least I planned it to just be a bite.

When I tell you the flavors, the creaminess, the reminder of home just slap me in the tongue! I was in heaven. The sorrel was surprisingly sweet and delicious and I had to force myself to stop drinking it so fast. If I hadn't been so hungry and the food wasn't so good. I would have some pictures to show y'all, when I say I tore that food UP. I did not get paid for this, he did not ask me to write a review, but the food was just so.dang.good.

“I like that they offer a $10 lunch special, including veg and plantain with a soda...but it's only chicken. But seriously...you not gonna oder just that! You gotta get a patty or festival or something else that catches your eye. I had the curry chicken (a little spice but good) and a beef patty, bc they were out of chicken. I ate almost everything...and I don't feel bad about it! Will visit again, but try to avoid the out of school kids.“
