Corn was mushy, shrimp was , potatoes were a little hard, eggs were missing most of the white because I guess they couldn't peel it and one egg was not hard boiled . Whiting fish sandwich was not that good. My daughter liked the lobster roll though. Very hot in the restaurant, with flies.“

Everything was made to order, so it was hot and fresh. The salmon is tender and perfectly cooked, I just wish it was seasoned a bit more. Fries are fantastic, and the overall meal was affordable. Will be coming again!“

“5 stars all day! I drove 2 hours just to try their famous family recipe sauce, and it did *not* disappoint. The warm, family atmosphere and authentic recipes make Jay's Fish Gate a must-try!“

“They hooked me up! Delicious food; good portions. I usually get oxtail from Jamaican restaurants. I'd say it's one of the top of the restaurants I've eaten from.

That said, oxtail is generally an expensive meat to buy and can be hard to cook right. So, it can be difficult to find places like this that give you a decent amount. And I've orderd from them a few times, so I can say their potion size is generally consistent from what I've seen.“
