“I tried the wings and whitings, the fish was a 3 out of 5 stars... But the wings were 5 stars ...seasoned nicely, crispy, not too big, and not to small. Over this one week I found this place..I've ordered 3x so far... Just for the wings!“
“This is a food truck that serves delicious soul food/seafood meals. The two gentlemen owner/chefs provide friendly service and meals are made to order and definitely worth the wait. The food is consistently full of flavor, prices are reasonable and they serve generous portions. Try their freshly made pineapple lemonade as well as peach cobbler for dessert. All forms of payment are accepted here and they are open on Fridays and Saturdays only, so call or get there early to place your order or they just may run out of your favorite meal!“
“I came in hungry with my family of 8 and everywhere there are hassles to get us out but here I felt welcomed and very well attended. The place was clean and tables were set to our accommodations, bathroom smelled amazing not like those nasty public bathrooms.. Let me Get to the best Part which is the food.. I ordered a traditional Honduran plater called “pollos con tajadas” and let me tell you I liked the plate clean. The chicken was juicy tender and flavorful, the tajadas were cooked perfectly and crispy, the curtido on the side was amazing, you could just devour it by itself. The wings were Good, the drinks were perfect especially the Pineapple refreshment.. all this was maybe because I was hungry but this is a 10/10 would recommend“
“It is a spectacular place, the food is delicious, it has a pleasant atmosphere, the attention is very good, they speak Spanish and English, easy to communicate, they offer sodas, natural juices, coffee, without a doubt, a place to visit again“
“Never get disappointed!!! bomb fish!!!! We’ve been coming here ever since I was 15 years old!!!! This is the spot to go to eat the best fish in Plainfield!!!! I love it!!!! My mother enjoyed it!!! One fish for the both of us since we don’t eat a lot!!!!! God bless those hands who prepared it!!!! Good Service!!!!“
“Popped in here to grab breakfast for the Family based off of my Son's suggestion. It's a small place located not far from downtown Plainfield. It's a no frills location with the typical "Chicken Shack" look. The staff handled multiple orders well without making mistakes. I didn't see them write anything down, they just took peoples complex orders & kept it moving. The food was very good. I watched them make it, & they are NOT shy when it comes to butter. I LOVE THAT! I am not one of those people that will ever say "hold the butter," or "light on the butter." They make everything in butter, lol....& I support that. They are Halal, so there is no pork on the menu, so if you're looking for bacon, you can only get Turkey bacon. We had the French toast w/Beef sausage. Waffle w/Beef sausage, & two orders of Chicken & Waffles. All of the food was good, the chicken are chicken tenders, definitely gotta deduct a star for that, Yes, just for that. Why? Cause their setup they could easily do the "chicken shack" style chicken on the waffle. That would be epic! The food was good though, so no complaints. Syrup is a little weak though. Could be a bit sweeter. French Toast w/Beef Sausage: AWaffle w/Beef Sausage: AChicken & Waffle: B-“
“BJ Fish Soup in Edison, NJ, is an absolute feast for the taste buds! From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, the warm environment and friendly service made me feel incredibly welcomed. The decor is elegant, creating a warm and comfortable dining atmosphere, perfect for family gatherings or catching up with friends. The highlight, of course, is their signature Sour and Spicy Fish. The fish is fresh, tender, and seems to be carefully selected, pairing perfectly with the pickled vegetables. The balance between the freshness of the fish and the tangy crispness of the pickled vegetables is just right, complementing each other beautifully. The broth is rich but not greasy, with a moderate level of spiciness that even those who aren't keen on spicy food can enjoy. Additionally, the restaurant offers a variety of spice levels to satisfy different taste preferences. The portions in Edison, NJ, are generous, offering great value for money. The thoughtful service and delicious dishes have won me over time and again, leaving a lasting impression and a strong desire to return. If you're a fan of high-quality BJ Fish Soup, Edison, NJ, is definitely a place you don't want to miss.“
“We arrived early and were able to be seated. I made reservations for their new room, the “Cove” advertised as more intimate. Thinking quiet, perfect for date night. There were 2 large tables of 8 or more. Tables close together so noise level was at a high. Food was good. Lobster bisque, prawns, sea bass, pappardelle.“
“We had a wonderful time at Hot Space. The food was fresh, flavorful, and the spice level was perfect. This is our first time here, and we will definitely be back. Our server, Fiona was great. She was very knowledgeable and extremely attentive. Great place!“
“This was my first time here I enjoyed my time here my server’s name was vi she did a great job in making sure my experience delightfully and also had a great sense of humor would definitely come back and ask for the same serverParking: Parking was fine it was finding the place that was difficult but called and they helped“
“This place serves the best hotpot I have every eaten. The chicken flavor in their popular pot has grrat taste. Service is excellent, the servers comes to you fast and food is served quickly too! They have been upgrading their restaurant by adding many more foods and even vending machines.“
“We had an absolutely amazing dinner on Sunday! All of our food was delicious as always, brought to our table piping hot and seasoned to perfection. We’ve been there before but what, (or who), made everything extra special this time was our server, Donya. She was very attentive to our needs and made great recommendations on both food and drinks. Thank you Donya, we’ll be back!!“
“You can sense that you're going to have fun as soon as you step through the door. If you ask me, the ugly crab is a better alternative than the others. It's delicious and fresh to boil. Without a doubt, I would return to this place. Also get the Shirley temple. ☺️“
“We’ve taken food out a few times from here but sat for dinner with a group of friends for the first time tonight. The food is always on point! There’s a great menu full of many options. We always come for their shish kebob. Our friends never been here before really enjoyed all the dishes and appetizers as well. The owner Raffy is a doll. He introduced himself to our group, and was very friendly and made great conversation. Highly recommend Old City Café!“
“First time visit to this restaurant. Our server Alina was exceptional - made great recommendations. The service was on point. The staff is very efficient. I loved my drink "Pineapple Jalapeno Mockarita". The crab cake, the best we have ever had - no fillers, just fresh crab meat. It's even better than the ones you get in Alaska. Other dishes we ordered including Branzino, Halibut were delicious as well. Portions are big. Next time, we are going to try the salads, we have heard they are great. Memorable experience. Would love to go back.“
“Nai Brother is definitely a hidden treasury. After several days authentic Chinese food hunting in Princeton, I visited Nai Brother Edison today. The pickled fish soup with snakehead fish fillet is absolutely the best!!! And the add-on veggies are super fresh and tasty.Highly recommend this place!!❤️“
“I gave it 4 stars because I got the all you can eat and the gratuities were already on the bill and I didn't notice until after I got home so I tipped extra. It would be nice if they told you 2 people are automatic gratuity or all you can eat is automatic gratuity. They might be doing this for one person in the union location for all I know!“
“The food was good, and the service was prompt, hence the 5 star rating. You guys are the best and my favorite place to dine with family and friends. Thank You!!!Dietary restrictions: If you tell the hostess about your dietary restrictions they give you options which is goodParking: Lots of parking“
“Current Review -Was in mood for Kabobs in this cold weather and stopped at this place late evening. Ordered Lamb Chops, Lamb Shank Pulao and Chicken Kofta Kabobs.Didn’t disappoint me. Amazing taste, flavorful and had authentic reflections of Mediterranean cuisine. Their Lamb items are the best among the list.Their complementary Bread and Salads with different sauces is noteworthy. My recommendation is Lamb Chops and Lamb Shank Pulao. Shank was so well cooked that the meat was falling off from the bone and literally melting in the mouth. It’s an open casual dining place. Plate portion is good, competitive price for excellent taste and food quality. Customer service was good this time and could be because of less traffic.A must visit is recommended if you crave for Mediterranean food. I will visit again.Review from 2 years ago -We family and friends visit for dinner and tried Chicken Chapli, Lamb Chop, Chicken Lentil Soup and Chicken Gyro. Undoubtedly, the Lentil Soup and Lamb Chop were best from the list. Customer service is not good for family dine-in.“
“Wonderful birthday dinner with family. The fois gras was amazing. Everyone had different first courses but each one was so enjoyed-including mussels and salad. Main courses were all a treat. Especially the Dover Sole cooked and deboned tableside. So buttery delicious. The evening special of red snapper was excellent. The steak was perfectly prepared as was the chicken with a delicious sauce. Dessert included chocolate mousse - almost as thick as a pot de crème - such an indulgence. The soufflé was a black raspberry which you could smell prior to its appearance at the table. Yum!!!! Always delicious with wonderful service in a pretty dining area.“
“Another wonderful and enjoyable meal at Limani. We had a late lunch on Easter and were seated right away. Our server came to our table immediately and asked what we needed while looking over both the regular and special holiday menus. Our wine was opened and poured and bread, olive oil and seasoning placed on the table. We were not rushed making our decisions even as a steady crowd filled up the restaurant. We all enjoyed our appetizers, entrees and dessert (we had to share because we were so full) and will definitely be back again soon.“
“Made a reservation through Resy app and had no issues getting a table for 4. Upon arrival, there was plenty of free parking in their parking lot. We were greeted and promptly taken care of by our hostesses after walking in. After our group had all arrived, we decided to order a bunch of small plates and a couple pizzas, so as not to completly engorge ourselves. We ordered the Bao Buns, Chicharron Arancini, Buffalo Cauliflower, Salmon Crudo, Truffle Friesm Goat Cheese & Bacon Pizza, and Broken Burrata Pizza. Each bite was super flavorful and delicious. Our favorites were the Buffalo Cauliflower and Arancini. Both pizzas were also super tasty. The crunch of the thin crust made it so enjoyable. We ended our night with a sliver of Tiramisu. Just enough to finish off the meal without feeling overly stuffed. 10/10 would highly recommend.“
“Portions were big, which made me fill up a lot! Crust was a mixture of soft and crunchy, which just added to the delight. This has to be one of my personal favorites in Metuchen.Wheelchair accessibility: Able to access because in the plaza there are no elevations“
“Hisham, the host, was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. We sat in the bar area and our server who was also bartending was lovely. I took my niece out for a big girl day and fancy lunch. The server asked her questions directly and treated her like a guest not a child, which she loved. It was the best burger she's ever had! Thank you all for the great service.“
“their food has more flavor than halal guys ? the new owners are doing great. the food is well worth your money. i recommend the mixed platter & their crispy fried chicken. affordable & very delicious, it's a hidden gem! thank you, keep up the great work. ?Vegetarian options: falafels “
“this is Santorini in NJ. the food is amazing, fresh, & huge portions, and delicious as well. I ran across this and just coming back from Greece a few months earlier was very impressed both our dishes (Souvlaki and Moussaki) I highly recommend and feel like there should never be an open parking spot available!!!“
“Great food and energetic environment. Worth every penny if you want good seafood as well as other great pasta dishes! Try the calamari, crispy lobster dumplings and Italian sausage appetizers, you can't go wrong with either one! The pappardelle bolognese is amazing, my favorite dish thus far. The surf & turf is amazing as well, it will not disappoint!“
“First time at the Nauti Cajun crab, and all I can say is WOW had the boil up for 2 and it was amazingly delicious ?. Appetizer was so good and the house lemonade refreshing. Now let's talk about desert!! Had the Lava cake and son had the carrot cake, decadent doesn't begin to describe it. All and all the food, staff and location is a total vibe I can't recommend enough.“
“The atmosphere was beautiful. The food was exquisite. The chicken Jalfrezi and dhaba kadai curry tasted delicious. The highlight was the tindora 65 appetizer. The waiters pavani & jagan gave the best customer service and ensured we had a great experience. Deccan spice is a phenomenal restaurant“
“Definitely a five star experience!!! We arrived just before happy hour ended (4-5:30) and they were kind enough to place a quick order of oysters!!! They were super fresh and delicious... favs were west coast (sorry NJ). Next, came the Parker rolls!!! Probably my favorite part of the meal, but then again, who doesn't like homemade, freshly baked rolls with buttered top and a touch of salt!!! Because everything looked so good, we opted for a bunch of other appys to start! The New Zealand angus beef bites were served with horseradish aioli and a Parker roll, the halloumi cheese was accompanied by orange slices, prosciutto, radicchio and dehydrated olives. The octopus was spectacular... crispy with romanesco sauce, fried chickpeas, cilantro and paprika breadcrumbs. Of course, we had to also try the OHS mussel pot... with chorizo, saffron, garlic cream, sun dried tomatoes... and an herbed garlic roll on top!!! LOVED THEM ALL! It's not often that so many different, but complimentary flavors are presented in each dish!!! We could have stopped our meals there and would have been pleasantly satisfied and full! Next, we chose a couple of the sirloin sandwiches with fries, and the squid ink pasta with Calabrian chili and Meyer lemon breadcrumbs!!! All was very good. The evening was finished with 3 of their delicious desserts... the lemon meringue tart was the perfect sweet with a pucker. The molten dark chocolate cake was decadent. And the trio of gelatos were each so uniquely flavorful and delicious! Wow!!! Given that 100 steps is a BYOB, it makes everything even more affordable! We had spectacular service in this beautiful restaurant with amazing food! It was quite a special evening!“
“We cannot return to the equator but finding this delight in NJ Plainfield makes me remember the days of family reunions, the chips, the seasoning, the ajísito de pepa, something very delicious and recommended.Parking: Parking with free spaceKid-friendliness: Quiet atmosphere“
“The food is very good, the service is also very good because I thank the lady from Moños for being patient with me since I was a new customer and she very patiently attended to me and advised me on some dishes that I undoubtedly loved as well as me and everyone else. @ my family, I thank you very much for the attention of the ladies who are at the cash register, without a doubt it is a place where I would return for their service and attention“
“Excellent dishes, menu and service! The food and service are outstanding! Pam and Chen provide excellent and attentive service and are very accommodating about adjustments to their dishes. I meet friends for lunch here every week for over a year now, and we ALL consistently state this is our favorite restaurant for the reasons stated above.“
“Easter Sunday byob, sizeable menu.Best plate I've had in a long while. The appetizers ...mini works of art, done to perfection, just like the ones in the picture, lol.Chicken Murphy Xtra peppers, the cherry peppers kicking it up a couple notches, right where you want it in spiciness, makes you slowdown to catch your breath .The desserts? Forget it I was already stuffed.Old school casual Ironbound open dining area ,chill atmosphere, the kids were wonderful they earned their tips.l would definitely bring a date or good friend here . ByoB .“
“Found this spot by searching for diners near Somerset, NJ. What's a visit to NJ without s stop to a diner. This was a great decision. My meal consisted of French toast, bacon, home fries and scrambled eggs with cheese. Everything was delicious. Walk in seat yourself. Our server was very pleasant. Decor on the wall was beautiful. Looks small from the outside, but was the perfect spot!!“
“We enjoyed our food. The servers were very attentive. Our biggest complaint was that the website did not clearly stated that it was a restaurant that only sold full bottles of wine (not by the glass) with BYOB as an option. I was looking forward to a cocktail, but there was no bar. I could not find that information on the website or in the reviews anywhere.“
“I love this pizzeria restaurant. I have been going there since my teen years. The food is always fresh, delicious and made to order. The sauce is amazing in my opinion. Great portions hot and cold subs, mozz sticks, garlic knots and zeppoles. There is tons of parking and indoor seating.Parking: Large parking lotWheelchair accessibility: Ground level entrance“
“I came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. She made a reservation for a large round table by the window. When I arrived, I noticed they have two entrances in the front. The door on the right leads to the DiMaio’s Pizzeria section. This is where you can place an order for Pizza, Stromboli, Calzones, Hot and Cold Subs,Pasta Dishes and more for take out only. The door on the left leads to the actual restaurant where you can sit down and be served. This is a BYOB which I love.I was immediately greeted by an our server I believe her name is Paola. She was very friendly and attentive. DiMaio’s has a good amount of tables for dining in.The restaurant itself has a casual, subtle and warm vibe. I found it very relaxing. This place is family friendly, and Wheelchair Friendly. They can also accommodate vegetarians. When you arrive there’s a few spots in the front, 2 handicapped spots, and a few regular spots with remaining parking in the back around the side of building. This restaurant has been around for at least 45 years. It’s has been a staple in the Berkeley Ht’s area. For starters some of us chose their Tomato, Cucumber, and Feta Salad. The rest chose their House Salad with shaved Parmesan on it. Both salads were very good. Hot Rolls with Butter were also put on the table. For my Entree I chose their Rigatoni and Chicken Alla Serafino-Sundried tomato, broccoli, mushrooms, peas. It had a light flavor and subtle components. One of my friends chose their Chicken Valdostana- it was served with mushrooms, prosciutto & Asiago cheese. My friend ate every morsel.Another friend chose for her Entree Chicken Marsala-mushrooms and Marsala wine, she enjoyed it.Another friend chose for her Entree Seafood Marinara-shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, and calamari. Again, everyone enjoyed their meal. The food is good here. We found for the area the food was pricey. Their chicken Francese was $29. The Seafood Marinara was $39. The other thing I found interesting was there was a charge to serve our own birthday cake. $2 per person. We decided to let the birthday girl take it home and enjoy it with her family. We just ordered desserts we picked off their tray. They were delicious , but for the price they were small portions which ranged between $11-$13 apiece. That’s definitely pricey for dessert. They do catering and parties here. I’ve had their pizza, and it’s decent too. They make a good Grandma Pie.Vegetarian options: They do have offer vegetarian optionsParking: They have several handicapped spots in front along with a few regular spots. If full they have parking around the back of the buildingKid-friendliness: Kids mealsWheelchair accessibility: Two handicap spots out front and they’re located on the first floor. I believe you could get a wheelchair in this restaurant.“
“This is one of my favorite spots in cranford! Delicious food, attentive servers and the owner always make you feel so welcome✨ I recommend the mango juice is always so fresh, pizza is on point, salmon so good, and to start the mozzarella sticks ?“
“The service and atmosphere were excellent and the food was very good. The scallop and octopus appetizers were excellent. Duck entree was well above average. The bread pudding for dessert was also delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant.“
“Went to go eat for Valentines Day, pretty busy, Kevin was ready to serve us with a big smile on his face… full of positive vibes, very professional, im definitely looking forward to eat at Carrabbas and get a Great Service as our Server Kevin “
“As MiddleEasterner, I definitely suggest this high quality Turkish restaurant for Kebab lovers. The food was so delicious as you feel you are in Istanbul and the hospitality proves it.Don’t forget to order Ayran (yougurt drink) as drink and Keshkul as dessert.I will come back again !“
“Fast service and great size servings.Impressed on a Monday night all the tables were occupied in this small business.Food speaks for itself, and if you love Peruvian food you should try it out.Parking is tough, but what do you expect at Rahway.Staff was super friendly and for a speak easy restaurant the music playing in the background was delightful.“
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I recently dined at Brasa Wood Fire Grill and was blown away by the incredible flavors of their short ribs! Each bite was tender, juicy, and bursting with delicious smoky goodness. Some people may initially balk at the price, but let me tell you, it's worth every penny for the quality you get. The taste was beyond compare, and the steak? Absolutely heavenly! The ambiance was cozy, and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend Brasa to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. Can't wait to go back for more!“
“Delicious! Was looking for bbq food while my usual spot was closed and this may be my new go-to. The portions were great, everything was tasty, food prep was very quick, service was fantastic. The place itself is also nice, there's a cute little eating area inside so great for dine-in and take-out.“
“This place is wonderful!!!! All the workers are so nice and polite. All the food from appetizers to meals are absolutely THE BEST my family and I have had in a quite a while. The calamari is fantastic! We have tried it in many states over the past couple of years and it has never compared to this restaurant. You have to come here!!!! You will be so glad you did!!!“
“If I could give more stars, I would. The customer service is excellent. The ingredients are fresh and you definitely get what you pay for. A no frills quick-bite eatery that just gets straight to the point. No egg throwing, no choo choo train that leaves you smelling like the train itself.Stop it, you’ll like it.“
“Pass by this place a lot and finally went inside.Glad I did.Nice old fashioned bar with awesome food. With so many chain restaurants taking over the landscape, it’s refreshing to come to a place like this and actually eat freshly made food and sit back with a few drinks.I will def be coming back!BTW try the hot pastrami sandwich on rye. It was so delicious.“
“Been here for lunch many times and really enjoy it. First time for dinner, and while the food was spectacular, service was a little off. First the place was packed, so factor that, but still shouldn't wait 20 minutes to have your BYOB wine opened. Took another 20 before order was taken, and then entrees arrived 3 minutes after appetizers. Took another 20 after we were done to order coffee and dessert. They brought the coffee, then nothing until the waitress comes over with check. I asked about the desserts we ordered and she was clueless. They did try to make it right by giving us some sambuca and the desserts we ordered to go, no charge. So they tried. All in all I'll be back. The food is worth it and maybe this was just too much for a new waitress. But I may stick with lunchtime.“
“Authentic Colombian food worthy of 10 stars, incredible attention and we even asked about the cooks who taste better, homemade, good products, quality food, see the minced meat full of meats not like in other places that is just potatoes, a super congratulations This place and its administration are doing a great job, the theme of the afternoon was this and what a shame if they change chefs they would lose the flavor that this place offers. We are going to promote the experience and follow them on social networks, ahhhh and the place is very clean, organized and pleasant. My husband is not Colombian but he loved it and it was one of the best. He went for a tripe but hopefully later with that seasoning they have they can add it to the menu“
