“My wife and myself were at Latin American Restaurant in Boonton, NJ. We are from out of town looking for home cooking, let me tell you, this was the most delicious food we've had since we've been here. The restaurant is clean and the owner stayed and talked to us for a long while. I had the steak smothered with onions, salad, white rice, black beans and maduros(sweet plantains). You get large portions, my wife took her left overs to the hotel for later. My wife is a very picky eater and she loved everything that was served. The staff was great and we felt very comfortable taking our time with our dinner. We surely will be back before we go home and will recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.“

“I was looking for a specific type of soup, called a lot of the Spanish restaurants no one made it. Found this restaurant and from the first phone call they are truly amazing. They were very attentive to what I wanted. Quick and efficient. Another time I went to the place to place my order, even better the young lady was super sweet and the man there was so attentive to my order. Will definitely keep on ordering. They have a great variety of options, from sushi to gyros, and everything I’ve tried has been really good. I also love that the food is Halal. “Authentic Dominican food, you get a lot of food for the value, and the staff is lovely and very helpful. There is a big selection of food options. We liked everything we had, I especially liked the avocado salad.

They have all the available food on display, cafeteria style, but they serve at the tables and the food is hot when it arrives. They have plenty of tables and free parking in front.“

The person who served me was kind & friendly. I had the picadillo with white rice, sweet plantains, a fried yuca fritter, & a side of beans. It all was very tasty, with the exception of the fritter. My only qualm was the pricing for what I ordered. It came to $29, including 2 bags of cheese doodles.Would I go back... Yes. Everything looked vibrant & fresh... I wanted to try EVERYTHING.“

“It was my first time trying a chimi sandwich and I was impressed it is basically a Dominican burger with coleslaw. The chimi is well seasoned and toasted to perfection. The chicharron Mofongo was really bad however. It was dry and greasy. I really liked the chimi but the Mofongo is not good at all.“

“Walked in and was greeted by very polite staff. Ordered the baked pernil and it was fantastic with plenty of meat to rice ratio (I am big on places having enough meat for my rice). The price was not bad at all for the amount of food I was given. Additionally I got a complimentary slice of flan even as a first timer. I would recommend this to any and all who are fans of Peruvian food or are looking to try something new. Y esta muy cara por unos pocos pedazos de pollo y carne!! They have good food and drinks at any time. However la picada is over price for some pieces of meat and chicken and lots of French fries. It’s missing pork (chicharrón) and Colombian sushi (rellena).“

“The food is very good, the lady Natasha who served us was excellent, her attention and service was excellent, the only thing I didn't like is that it is only cash payment and the facilities are somewhat old but the place is clean. There is no parking or wheelchair access.
