“I love this place. I stopped here because it piqued my interest. I got the vegetable chaufa with added chicken and a choco bread pudding to go.

Absolutely fresh and delicious. I loved the pink sauce added into the chaufa, it was so sweet and added a nice touch of a different flavor. One employee and asked me how it was and explained how the pink sauce was made.

The place is so warm and cozy and the people that work there are so friendly. One of the workers had given a postal worker a drink for free while they were dropping off the mail. It was such a nice act of kindness that warmed my heart.

“This place is an absolute hidden gem. The front door is literally located between 2 service bay doors at Sansone Toyota. Don't let the hard to find and unusual location sway you, the journey of discovery is just part of the fun. Once through the door, you take the stairs up to a beautifully maintained cafe oasis. We were going for breakfast and left sad that we had no room left to stay all day and enjoy the lunch buffet. They have a beautiful open kitchen concept where you can see all the fresh food being prepared. The breakfast was excellent with wonderful fresh ingredients and satisfying portion sizes. Don't miss the pupusas, a house specialty. The owner, Rosa, is as sweet as can be and runs the restaurant with various family members. We were staying at the nearby Fairfield Inn due to a flight cancellation at Newark Airport and made the walk over. Not the easiest walk due to a lack of sidewalks in the area, but there is a crosswalk to get across the busy highway. We were able to successfully use our airline food vouchers (come as virtual visa cash cards), so we were pleased with that as well. Rosa's should not be missed if you are in the area!“

“Came in for lunch and our server Paola was the sweetest. She made me the most delicious Coconut Mojito. Food was delicious, fresh and perfectly seasoned.
I highly recommend if you want Colombian Food or soup this place will suffice.

So I had the Mangu con los 3 golpes, which is fried salami fried,cheese, and eggs with smashed plantain . All delicious. The coffee had a home feel to it and the beef and steak empanadas to accompany it were good. Definitely coming back to taste all the other dishes here.“

“I think the azúcar buffet is great. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The food is amazing I love the service and the people who work here. Angelina and the other staff members are great. I love how they are always greeting me and everyone else saying good morning and good evening and make my day. I think the drinks are great. The buffet is really clean and neat. It’s one of my favorite buffets to go to. I would definitely recommend to go with family members it’s child friendly and there is no problems at all. I was started with Complimentary Chips and Salsa and it was very fresh and tasty, as I placed my order with a well spoken server by the name of Bri she suggested that I should try the Wild Caught Shrimp Soup and she was spot on. The Soup was flavorful and it didn’t disappoint. I absolutely recommend The Patio On Sussex for all to try. My Compliments to the Chef and Owners.
