“Gao Kitchen is hands down some of the best food in Bergen County. Everything is authentic, flavorful, and delicious, and the prices are great for the quality and portions. Their Thai tea is the BEST, and I’ve genuinely stopped in before just to get a tea. Every curry I’ve tried has been amazing, and there’s always something I’m excited to order. My family normally doesn’t like eating out very often, but we eat at Gao Kitchen at least twice a month, and we get takeout even more than that. It’s become one of our go-to spots, and I recommend it to everyone!“

I have been to a lot of sushi restaurants over the years, and this place consistently delivers some of the freshest, most delicious food and friendliest service around. Every time I walk through the door, I feel welcomed and appreciated, and that kind of experience is hard to find these days.

The quality of the sushi is outstanding. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and you can tell that a lot of care goes into every roll and every dish that comes out of the kitchen. The specialty rolls are creative, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. No matter what I order, I am always impressed. The fish is fresh, the rice is perfectly prepared, and the portions are generous.

What really makes Raku stand out is the consistency. Whether you’re dining in, picking up takeout, or ordering for a family dinner, the food is always excellent. There are very few places where you know exactly what you’re getting every single time, and Raku has maintained that high standard year after year.

“The food here is very good, one of our favorite places for takeout Chinese Food.
Only thing we could possibly critique is the pork fried rice, wish it had some peas, egg, onion like traditionally made. Kind of plain but flavor is still good.“

“I had a really great experience here and would definitely recommend this place. The restaurant was very clean, the seating wait time was super quick, and the menu prices were affordable and accessible.
I also really appreciated the variety of vegetarian sushi options. As someone who doesn't eat seafood or raw fish, it can sometimes be hard to find good options at sushi restaurants, but here there were plenty of rolls with different vegetables and ingredients to choose from.
The drinks were great as well, and we even received dessert included with part of the menu, which was a really nice touch. Overall, the experience felt enjoyable, comfortable, and worth the visit.
There's also plenty of parking nearby, which made everything much more convenient. I'II definitely be coming back!“
