Aside from my milkshake heartbreak, I have to give major props to the staff and management at the Garden State Plaza location. These people? They're running a well-oiled chicken empire. They’re fast, friendly, and honestly, too pleasant for people working in the middle of a crowded mall. I've seen them handle lunch rushes with the kind of efficiency that would make NASA jealous. And they do it all while still delivering their signature, 'My pleasure,' which somehow makes me feel like I’m at a five-star restaurant rather than a mall food court.

Bottom line: whether you're after perfectly crispy chicken, or service that’s basically a therapy session in a paper bag, this Chick-fil-A delivers every time. Now, if only they'd grant my one simple wish and make that peach milkshake a permanent resident on the menu. ?“

“This place is decently clean (except a few tables) and I appreciate it, ESPECIALLY the bathroom.

I bought a 2 piece individual meal with a side of coleslaw. The girl behind the register was patient and accommodating after I asked for a leg instead of a wing.

The food was really great - the chicken was well seasoned while not being salty and I thought how rare it is to not crave a sauce for once.

I thought the coleslaw had a decent flavor and consistency but a bit too sweet for my liking.

If I am ever in town, I will definitely return.“

“It’s the best chicken around BY FAR. I get a bucket of chicken and the chicken strips combo (w/ fries) and they are fantastic. The hot sauce is a must. When I’m in the area I always have to stop and I usually over order so I have late night leftovers.“

“We went to Don Chicken today for the first time and are we glad to have found this place! We got the plain wings and snow (cheese) wings, as well as the tonkatsu and ramen. Everything was amazing - the pickled radish was beautiful and crunchy, the accompanying soup and slaw were spot on. The ramen was ok (I personally don't like chicken ramen but it was mind-blowing). The chicken wings were crispy and full of flavor. This is a well hidden gem of a restaurant!!! Must go.EDIT April 2022: We've been regulars of this establishment for well over a year at this point and the quality is still as good as the first time we went. Absolutely honorable and very well done to the staff and owners here. We've stopped getting the snow/cheese wings just because our personal tastes changed - but we are absolutely in love with the soy garlic wings (and of course, the plain wings). “I ordered by the drive thru. The original chicken was delicious. The only thing was that I didn't receive the right order. Just check your side orders before you drive away.

Parking: Small parking. It could be a bit difficult. Because of the drive thru. Plus there's a new gas station. So it changed.“

The special consisted of items that were worth it. I was impressed by how quick the service was and I have a lot of respect for Tom. This Popeyes has been one of the best I’ve ever seen around the country. 5/5 stars.“
