“What a little hidden gem! From out of town, I needed a quick breakfast bite. Randomly found this place on Google. First off, their ice coffee uses ice coffee cubes?!? Good coffee with the same good coffee ice was such a pleasant surprise. For that alone, I will come back for their ice coffees when I'm back in the area.. Egg/potatoes were also good. Their potatoes were perfect with just the right amount amount green and red pepper accenting each bite. Next time when I'm not running off, I'd like to sit outside at their bistro table in front.“

“The vibe here is so cozy warm and friendly, but it's not the best for settling in and getting work done due to their 90 min policy.

The cafe is spacious and the drinks and pastries are delicious. I wanted to try the famous pistachio croissant but they were out at 2pm! So I got the pistachio muffin on my guy's rec. It's filled with pistachio butter. So delicious, pistachio lover's dream. Their hot chocolate is really rich and chocolatey too, not watery at all.

As for service, the reviews about wanting to be the baristas' best friend are accurate, they are very kind and caring people. The guy who took my order thoughtfully toasted my muffin without me even asking!“

“I've been to a lot of coffee shops in my life, and this is my favorite. The coffee is good, the service is super fast, and the employees are genuinely nice people.

But what really makes this place special is that it actually feels like a local community spot. There currently are only three people I've ever seen working behind the counter, and it was special to watch them expand from their tiny shop to a larger location.

So many coffee shops feel soulless, but this place is different...You can really tell they care about what they've built here. The design seems so thoughtful – there are these cute cartoon animals on the walls, and Tenz told me they put them there specifically so babies in strollers have something to look at while their parents wait in line. I feel lucky to live near a shop that so much care has been put into!“

“We were seated in the back at some corner which was pretty uncomfortable to me as I felt claustrophobic there. There was an available table in the front. I asked to be seated there but they couldn’t because “it’s a table for three” and it was two of us. Interestingly, they could seat one person at the table for two and they could seat three persons at the table for four.“

They have a lot of fun flavors like banana matcha and creative ones. If I were to get matcha from somewhere as someone who usually doesn’t like matcha because of the bitterness, I would go here for matcha and to try the different flavors.“

“I tried the Reuben and the strawberry rose iced matcha. The sandwich was fire, steaming hot and served within minutes, perfect ratio of meat to bread, and the bread itself was fresh and delicious. I could’ve used more sauerkraut but that’s a personal preference.“

“Love Healthy in Dyckman. It’s a gem in the Kingsbridge area where it’s possible to find good quality, healthy food. I particularly love their healthy egg wrap and chai latte. “What a delightful little breakfast/brunch place!!! We went here straight from the airport on our way into town, luggage and all, and it was perfect! We sat in the little outside area with the fans because the A/C was broken inside. My mom ordered the Grey Dog’s Breakfast with her eggs scrambled, French toast, and bacon, and it’s served with home fries. I ordered the egg and cheese croissant minus the parsley (not my fave) and added bacon. I’m picky about my home fries, so the server offered me french fries instead. We had exactly zero complaints about our meal. The portions are big, the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the French toast had this sweet butter with it that I can’t even compare to anything because it was so unique and delicious. The home fries ended up being DELICIOUS. The French fries were also good. I enjoyed the seasoning on them as well. I’m not a big fan of the thing shoe string fries, but these were good! The three employees we encountered were all very friendly and I would be more than happy to eat here again any time.“

“This is hands down the best coffee shop in Bushwick — and I’ve tried just about all of them. The espresso and coffee here are unmatched, which is why I find myself coming back every single morning. Personal fav is the pumpkin spice latte and the mocha latte with an extra espresso shot in each.

While I haven’t tried the food myself (I can’t have gluten), I often tell my friends about this place, and once they go they always rave about how good everything is — so much so that they go regularly on their own.

On top of the coffee, what really sets this place apart is the staff. There’s one girl who’s there every day, and she always brightens my morning with her kindness. “The tofu Bánh mì is delicious (get the jalapeños and sriracha!) and portion size is HUGE. 1/2 is basically the size of a normal full size sandwich. The green papaya salad was also bangin’ but I forgot to take a photo. The atmosphere of the place is extremely pleasant - so cozy and really a nice aesthetic. This is a different Bánh mì than any I’ve ever had before, and though it’s not quite authentic/traditional in taste or style, it’s unique and delicious anyway.“
