“I recently visited food street at Secaucus and had an amazing experience. Despite the menu being on smaller side, everything that we tried was delicious.I went with their signature Hangry beef Burger and it did not disappoint. The patty was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and tender.

Since I’ve moved to JC (which I know is only across the river, but the food scene really is different), I have yet to find my go-to halal spot… until now! I paid $10 for a chicken over rice. “If you want your halal food made quickly and with quality come here. You can get any platter over rice for 10 dollars with a canned soda and fries included. They have a big selection with fair prices and the employees are respectful / hard working. “The food was amazing, I ordered the falafel sandwich which was $8 and the chicken over rice which was also $8. Both were well made and the portions were generous. This is a bang for your buck considering how expensive meals are in this area. They even have a green sauce available that they make themselves.

Kazi himself despite a bit of a language barrier is an awesome person to speak to, he is generous in terms of helping his clients out both in pricing and with his sympathy. The service is awesome and overall I would recommend this halal cart/food to anyone out there!“

“THIS PLACE IS AWESOME !!!! I came from Canada and wanted to try something other than Halal Guys. This place blows them out of the water. Ordered:

1) Chicken Platter - AWESOME !!!! Portion was good and flavor was sooooooo good

2) Philly Cheese Steak - OMG !!!! The hero/sub was sooo good that it is a "must have"

3) Mixed Gyro - ALHUMDULLIAH !!!! The Sandwich / Pita was so packed that it took time to eat and I enjoyed every bite.

4) The Big Ash Chicken - MASHALLAH !!! The taste was sooo good that I wish I had more.

Anyone that follows me, this place has to be on your list of MUST TRY.

“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. The fried chicken is incredibly crispy, and the buldak chicken with cheese was absolutely delicious, though be warned—it’s quite spicy! The portion sizes are generous as well. The kimchi fried rice was decent, but it had a strong sesame oil flavor that might not be for everyone. The fries were a highlight—crispy and fresh. The iced tea, however, wasn't sweet enough for my taste. I also tried a sauce that was labeled as spicy, but it leaned more on the sweet side, which wasn’t what I was expecting. I tried their signature naanizza which is a fusion of naan and pizza. Both the chicken tikka and super supreme naanizzas were delicious. Even though I got stuck in traffic and had to reheat them at home, they still tasted great although I imagine they would be even better fresh out of the oven. So, quality was great. I ordered a mix platter/combo over rice for delivery. When I got the food, it was nice and hot, but it was just lamb over rice. No chicken to be found. Everyone makes mistakes, so it's fine. I really wasn't too upset because the lamb was delicious. The rice was great as well. Fries could be better. Overall quality is a 5 STAR in my opinion.

The QUANTITY, however, really needs to be addressed. I paid $14.14 for the food + taxes. This is without the delivery fee. And after I finished my meal, I was HUNGRY. This should not happen, like EVER. There was barely any meat, there was an OK amount of rice and maybe 10 pieces of fries. IDK maybe I'm the one with a big appetite, but I'm pretty sure this wouldn't fill up any adult.
Overall Quantity is a 2 STAR in my opinion.

“I usually visit Dave’s Hot Chicken at 7th Ave Brooklyn.
This time we went so late that it was just 40 minutes left in closing and they had put all the tables and chairs away (means the dine in was closed already) but the girl at the counter was so nice that she not only allowed us to take the chairs and sit but also suggested us to rate them on app to get a free drink (everyone loves free stuff..right??)
The food and atmosphere is always always so good. We love to go there at least twice a month (as far from our place). Highly recommended especially if you are looking for some good halal food.“

Then I became a fan of Adel's a little further down the street on 49th and 6th.

My new favorite is this cart in Williamsburg. Service is friendly and fun and most importantly, the platters are tasty, cooked to order, and priced at pre-Biden prices!

I had meat combo over spicy rice and my wife had meat combo over normal rice and for $10 each you really can't go wrong. Big portions that tasted delicious. Would definitely recommend.
