“Literally the BEST mexican restaurant in NYC. I have been here twice and everything i have ordered is absolutely incredible…the whole dining experience from cocktails to desserts.HUGE SHOUTOUT to Giselda, the manager.she is incredibly kind and polite. The service here is just as amazing as the food. I highly recommend everyone to try it. Also shoutout to DARWIN! Great waiter and wonderful positive attitude.“

“This is one of our FAVORITE restaurants. It’s just so delicious. I’ve brought my parents there, we’ve brought my boyfriend’s family there. We’ve been many times. The service sometimes is a bit lackluster (not checking up on you not updating you when food takes a while), but the food is so so so good you have to go.“

“I stopped by for drinks around 7pm on a Saturday with some friends. Thankfully there was a table available and we were seated right away. Bosco's has an extensive drink menu, and happy hour if you go during certain times on weekdays. The drinks were average NY prices, and were very good. I got the Sam Said So, while my friend got a Negroni. Both were very good! The service was great, and the decor was fun.“

“Great food! There was a long line we waited to get tacos. Intended to eat pastor & tripas but they were out of tripas. Instead, I tried the pastor & suadero; they were both amazingly good!! The workers there seem so noiiicee, songs at the place also slaps?! Not much place to sit tho cause the place is soo popular!!“

“Went for my husband's birthday the place was packed, no I didn't make a reservation, I should have, however, they accommodated us at the bar, the only issue was that since were placed at the bar the guy prepared the drinks weren't so happy with us, idk if it was because we are and look like Mexican and the place was packed with white ppl or because we were eating there (at the bar) or he was just distracted, he seems to forget about us but not the rest of the ppl there, maybe he thought we wouldn't tip him idk ,I did feel a different treat, we spend a 300 dollars in total I'm gonna say the food was amazing the drinks as well the desert at the end was so good, I tip the guy with the 20% just because I wanted to remember him that we Mexican ppl have money as well and we tip as well, yes I'll come back with a reservation and hope I have a better experience because the food is worth it.“

“So many people recommended we stop by Jajaja while we're in Nyc! The vibes were great, drinks amazing, food was delicious too.Started with the Beet & pumpkin empanadas (perfect savory and sweet), then the Hongos quesadilla (my personal fav), enchiladas mole, and chorizo burrito.A little sad they didn't have elotes, since we had seen them in previous reviews.“

“Came here this week for some tacos and drinks. The tacos were delicious and the drinks were really good with unique flavors that reminded me of Ghost Donkey (miss that place!). Mushroom Margarita and Adobada Bam Bam. Really nice place inside. The Happy Hour menu is a QR code on the menu. Plan on returning!“

“Glorious flight of guac to begin the evening and set it off right. I may have eaten too much but my tastebuds couldn't stop. Outstanding flavor on the tacos - juicy, and an explosion of taste. Skip the dessert- both options and calories were not needed. I'd rather have more tacos!“

“Sombrero was a perfect stop before catching a show! Guacamole was delicious and … ahem… $5 margaritas for happy hour. Nothing other worldly but pretty darn tasty and for the price you can’t beat it! It looked Ike their regular marg menu was pretty expansive if you prefer a fancier beverage. Great place and I’m glad stopped before the show.“

“Found this gem accidentally, the spot was both lively and cozy. Service was fast and staff was very attentive. Food was 10/10, I had the fish tacos and shrimp ceviche, amazing flavor and just enough of a spice kick(: easily one of my new favorite “

“I came here yesterday for a typical Monday lunch and I love how their bar is set up. The server was very nice. I had the Pollo Coco Tacos and they were really good with guacamole on the side. I also had Latte with Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies. Pretty convenient location next to a Subway station. Cool! After getting off the train, you can stop by here for a quick lunch.“

“My favorite Mexican seafood spot in town. Their camarones sarandeados were perfect. Their aguachile verde was from heaven with the perfect amount of heat. The fish tacos are great but everything else is much better.Kicker, I’m sober and love mocktails-the virgin michilada is by far the best I’ve ever had. All in all the staff is the cherry on top, they are attentive and friendly.Being from the Pacific Mexican community, you feel so far when in New York. For a mere moment you will find yourself on the beaches of Sinaloa. Honestly, I’m already plotting my next visit always.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp up to dining hall.“

“Currently $56 per person for tasting menu. Delicious, unique, amazing flavors!! All waiters were nice. They were transparent about adding 20% tip to the bill. My 1 year old baby ate guac, duck, bone marrow and more and loved it! One of the best restaurants I have EVER been to! I will come back!“

“An absolute gem of a vegan mexican inspired restaurant! Jajaja Mexicana has an amazing menu of so many classic and traditional Mexican dishes, while adding their own spin of modernism! They had so many options to choose from I had to try everything! Everything I had was absolutely delicious! The space was beautiful with plants and flowers! We got here around 6pm without a reservation and it was pretty empty then it quickly filled up around 7pm! The service was amazing; all staff was quick, tentative and overall great! I'd definitely come back whenever I visit the city! ??Vegetarian options: All vegan menu“

“Had a birthday celebration here and the food was so delicious. Staff super friendly. The place itself was LES style, seemingly cramped but as a native I know that’s just how things were built back then. Glad my sister made the reservation to eat here ✨“

“I was lucky to have received a recommendation for this amazing Mexican restaurant when we visited NYC. For us, this reunion was very important, friends that feel like family and who we wished to pamper. Rika, Chef Zack, and the whole team made us feel right at home. Excellent food and service. A place that, as a fellow Mexican, makes me proud of how our culture is showcased. Thank you all. Can't wait to come back, guys!“

“Nice vibes, service was fine but not great (kinda cold, no smiles or anything that will make you feel you welcome). Food was good but not great IMHO.We ate the Cubano, Corn and an Americano coffee. Coffee was great, corn was very good, I had better Cubanos, tasted kinda like a good tuna sandwich and not a Cubano.“

“Been coming here for years as I'm part of a monthly cosplay circus show, Cat's Eye Cabaret, which is venued here, and know the owners. It's really a mainstay of the neighborhood at this point. I always look forward to doing the show and getting fries, tacos and a drink after. You should definitely check it out!“

“I can not write enough good things about this Mexican restaurant. To begin with, this is the most authentic restaurant I have come across in Hell's Kitchen. It has been at its location for over 20 years! That alone says enough. I came in for happy hour and their deals were great. I was attended by a young gentleman, Eric. He was so attentive and made sure I was well taken care of. The food was great I had the Mole poblano platter with HOMEMADE tortillas and my god they were so amazing, every single bite. I had the most delicious mango margarita after several happy hour drinks. My last drink was a double with a Tajin rim. Eric informed me all of their drinks were made with natural fruit - so keep that in mind. They have the most amazing tequila and mezcal selection. Eric was very informative about their selections and recommended some Tequilas I have never even heard of in my life. Their prices are fair especially because everything is so perfectly made and super fresh. Thank you Eric and Tulcingo Del Valle for your attentiveness! I will definitely be returning!“

“Beautiful place with great service, fairly tasty food but not at all worth the price. It was $280 for 2 people with three drinks total. They talk you into ordering multiple small plates and the cost per dish is way too high. We ordered way too much. It's an outrageous price for what was served. I won't be back.“

“The food is delicious here ! I got the Birria deluxe. It came with a cup of consomé, a taco de birria, empanada de birria, and I want to say a quesadilla de birria but I’m not quite sure I think it’s their twist of it. Overall all three were so good my favorite was the empanada never had that with birria and my mind was completely blown away with how delicious that was. I will say it does get chaotic inside with many people ordering waiting and on top of delivery orders so the wait was on the 30-45 mins. Other than that 10/10. I did also try the agua de horchata. I won’t say it was my top suggestion for horchata I felt it more on a leche side like a smoothie almost not sure why it was made that way instead of being more on the water side like it normally is but maybe that’s just their twist to it. Other than that great food. This was all $19.. the food itself was $15 .. so I know that can be a little high for some. One taco is $5.. so I would take that into consideration for some“

“This place is a gem! Located in one of my favorite areas to visit in greenpoint. Panzons atmosphere is amazing even on a rainy day. I had to opportunity to try the new brunch menu. What a treat! Do not skip the Chilaquiles, so much flavor. The pollo torta was unique and tasty. Make sure you get the tres leches French toast for the table. Can’t wait to come back to try the tuna tostada and ceviche!“

“I had never been to a Mexican restaurant with a concept like this, the food was phenomenal and very authentic, I had a spectacular and very well balanced tuna aguachile, the octopus without any comparison, and I finished with a Valentine's week special that was a red snapper Delicious, very eager to return to try the rest of the dishes. Oh, I failed to mention the very pleasant service and the beautiful decoration, very cozy, highly recommended.“

“I'll keep this short and to the point: this is the best burrito I've had in the city hands down, and it's not close. Everything fresh and phenomenally seasoned, the lengua is succulent, the al pastor just the right spicy-sweet mix, I can't wait to try a few more meats. The staff is super friendly and the food comes out quick. As far as ambiance, getting in and out of there in record time is all you really want from a food truck. The best.“

“Ive been here a couple of times and as a LA native, this place definitely makes tacos that remind me of home. There is only outdoor seating so I would keep that in mind if you plan on visiting during colder weather. But The tacos were delicious and I got way more queso and chips than I was expecting. They were sold out the last time I stopped by so that should give you a good idea of the quality of the food.“

“We’ve come here a few times, and it gets better with every visit! The pickle pear margarita was outstanding and everything we ordered (guacamole, scallops, and rib eye) were all excellent. “Probably the best burrito in Manhattan and compared to what’s in SLC. We were visiting from SLC and came across this Mexican market. I wouldn’t say this is a full experience restaurant but a market with a handful of tables where you can enjoy the best burritos out there. Service was excellent. Very accommodating to our 4 people family. They even brought us some sweet bread on the house. Just amazing.“

“I was so happy when this place moved into the area, because there are very few good options for Mexican food, or at least there were. This place is really amazing there meat is fresh, their vegetables are fresh and their tacos are really great. The staff is super nice. The taco al Pastor here might be among the best in the city only because the pineapple is cooked on the grill and it’s really nice. That charred caramelized pineapple as a real beautiful flavor. Reasonable prices too.“

“When I say you should head to this place right away, I mean it! ?♀️?♀️?? Now, let me provide an honest review. The individuals in the kitchen truly know how to season tf out those birria tacos and the consommé was incredibly flavorful. It's definitely worth a visit for those items alone. However, there are a couple of downsides that I'd like to mention. Firstly, the elote lacked depth and had an excessive amount of mayo, which affected the overall taste. Additionally, it's important to note that the consommé is not included with the birria tacos and must be purchased separately, resulting in an additional cost. This is one of the reasons why I have given this restaurant a four-star rating. Nevertheless, the service was relaxed and enjoyable.“

“Solid Mexican food. For apps, we got the fried goat cheese with honey (standout), chips and guacamole (bad value) and the slow cooked pork app (very tasty). I got the divorced enchiladas for my entree and it was terrific. The horchata mezcal drink was interesting but just not a good combo imo. Will come back and try something else.“

“Great place for drinks and large parties, but recommend reserving tables ahead of time. We had about 12 people in our party for drinks so we hung by the bar which got crowded quick. We asked if we could have a couple of their long high top tables to order and drink at since it was empty and to help make room at the bar for other guests but the manager said no. They may have been short staffed on that Friday around 6pm, but overall a good fun place, just be patient with staffing!“

“Came here with a group of friends for brunch on a Saturday. The space is small, but luckily was not super crowded when we arrived. We did have a reservation coming in, but didn't seem like it was needed.I ordered the Chilaquiles Pollo ($20), consisted of tortilla casserole, tomatillo salsa, sunny side up eggs, queso fresco, avocado, and sour cream. The waiter somehow forgot my order, so my food came out last. Regardless, the food was tasty and filling.“
