“My first time trying them was amazing, my aunt, cousins along with myself did a coffee tasting there and everything was great!! I had the FFF (Triple F) with a HEC on brioche 🔥! Service was exceptional as well, definitely a comeback whenever I’m in NJ again“

“The coffee is just mediocre—nothing to write home about. It’s fine, but definitely not something I’d go out of my way for.
The woman making the food was so sweet, and the barista was also very kind, which made the experience better. Unfortunately, the man taking the order could definitely use some work on customer service. He seemed completely uninterested in being there. When I asked for 2% milk, he said “sure,” but when we got our drink there was no milk in it at all—and then we found out they don’t even serve 2%. If that’s the case, just say that.
Overall, the service inconsistency really took away from the experience.“

“My office is in downtown Ridgewood so I have tried all the coffee shops and this one is the best. To start, the coffee is amazing and for my taste is the perfect amount of caffeine. Doesn't leave me jittery like Starbucks.

The owners are dog lovers and it's super convenient for me that I can bring my dog Walter and everyone loves him. I'm extremely grateful they even gave me a great recommendation for changing his diet that has drastically improved his health.

Audrey and Natalya work the weekends and they are the absolute best baristas. They are not only courteous, but also they engage in real conversations. The complete opposite vibe of some commercial chains I've been where it almost feels they just want to give you the order and get you out. Great service, great coffee, this place is the highlight of my mornings.“

“This is such a clean and nice cafe. It is so cozy and the pastries are very tasty. I bought the almond croissant, pistachio croissant, morning bun, monkey bread and scones. I brought them home to my family and they devoured the whole box in a day. They were that good.“

“White maple isn’t just a restaurant. It is an experience that you do not want to miss out on. The food is extraordinary and extremely delicious and the service is even better. “Overall restaurant was excellent. Food was prepared well and was delicious. Especially liked the rice balls and the pistachio ricotta cheesecake! Waitstaff was attentive, but not intrusive. Prices were in line with today's restaurant prices. Would've been nice to have Italian background music or something soft rather than rock which was a little loud at first.“

“Came here by accident as my husband and I were about to goto Hmart right across the street and boy did we find a hidden gem! It’s funny because we were craving a sandwich and was about to shop for the ingredients to make at home and it was just meant to be!

We ordered a turkey cold cut sandwich and a chicken cutlet sandwich with a large coffee to share. The sandwiches were off the hook!!! The bread itself was so good and it just blew our expectations! It was so good that we had to order another breakfast sandwich to try and even that was really good. The place is very cozy and the ambience was just perfect. Prices are very reasonable for the tasty and fresh sandwiches they make. They did a great job with everything! Def highly recommend this place as I know we will be returning more often.“

So we decided to visit this Cafe28 and we loved it right when we walked in
We fell in love with the atmosphere

The cuban sandwiches and empanada are awesome
The expresso and coffee are amazing
The prices is very good as well
Juan, & his wife are very attentive to the customers needs and very warm hearted
If anyone is like us and love cafés who are in the area we definitely recommend that you stop in and give Cafe 28 a visit.

He also rents for special occasions- I've even seen small weddings here! Highly highly recommended. Kosher ice cream and snacks as well. Take your wife or date here! In winter, roaring fire inside. I just love it here. Sitting outside and seeing the beauty around me right now. Tranquil....just awesome. Great place to work from as well.“

“We have been to Made in Italy many times during all of the ownership changes. We have been for dinner, had graduation parties and gone for dessert only. We were so happy to hear that it was open at night again. My husband recently had knee replacement and was itching to get out. We decided to go for coffee/dessert at Made in Italy. He struggled to get in the car and out when we arrived. It was 8:30 Saturday night when they close at 10. There were over 15 tables open - we asked to be seated for coffee and dessert only to be told they don’t do that. They wouldn’t seat us - they gave us their card and told us to check the menu when we got home- which we did. The second paragraph of the website says - stop by just to have a cup of our gourmet coffee. They had many tables open and preferred to turn us away. Needless to say - we will not be going back.“

Ended up ordering a lox bagel and peanut butter jelly turkey bacon bagel with a biscoff latte and Oreo latte.
