“Nice place. All food is good. Quick service. Really small place, only has about 8 tables. Had 2 strawberry margaritas. 1st one in a highball glass with a very dry lime wedge, decent. The 2nd one was in a short glass with another dry lime wedge that tasted different and not as good as the 1st one. Bad lime season so not the bars fault.Parking: Very small parking lot. Few spots in the street. After hours you can park in the post office parking lot across the street.Wheelchair accessibility: None in the front of building. I don't know about the back.“
“My friends and I were meeting up for the first time in a while and our bartender was Aaron. He’s hands down the best bartender I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by! I had one of the best nights I’ve had in a long time big part thanks to him! I’ll definitely be back for such amazing “
“We came with a group to celebrate a great friends promotion…which was also a surprise wedding proposal for her. Marc was extremely accommodating and Kristina, who was our server as well as the manager was beyond amazing. She was on point and went well beyond to make our experience awesome…all while handling another large group. I cannot express enough how thankful we are and what a great experience we had! Thank you Blackjacks!!!“
“What a wonderful place. It just happens to be an Irish bar, though that part is not the main sellling point. If you are not doing anything today or tonight, please, please, please go. OK, we know about prices. 8 Bottle Beers, 4 shots ( and yes 2 were telly) French onion soup, Fish & chips (no bread, that's a positive) and nacho with the malt vinegar. Grand total $109 == Bargain. The food was great!, The Nacho's were a meal servered the good way, hard nachos loaded with meat, cheese and Guac (wont' even attempt to spell that word). I don't know how Dave the owner pulls this off. Excellent business owner and personable. I think has all all 3 things going on when you spend money. Best Product, Best Price, Best Business touch - meaning personable skills. The girl working the bar and tables was very good. I should have gotten her name. She left nothing for chance. There is one other thing to note when going out, Atmosphere. While this is no Colemans of Syracuse on Tipperary Hill, I challenge you to point out the differences. Pete Coleman would be proud to know folks can go to an authentic Irish bar in Hawthorne, NJ and have an awesome time. David my hat is off to you, Sir. - They call me Bruce“
“Talk about a lucky find. After a long day at working, traveling in an unfamiliar I stumbled upon this gem.Let’s just get to it - food was on point; I had the NY strip which was cooked perfectly, with carrots, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. The service was top notch, attentive and super friendly. It seemed this spot was a local favorite [Think Cheers] “Where everyone knows your name”If you are in the area, and looking for a casual place with delicious food and great service - make sure to stop by! ?“
“Tommy Fox's Public House in Bergenfield, New Jersey is a cool bar that has that cool Irish pub feel to it. The service was friendly and the customers were pretty friendly here, as well. I did not try any of the food, but it looked to be what you would expect from a bar. This is definitely a cool.place to gather with some friends and overall, I would recommend here.“
“We have been coming to Davey's for years. It is a great local spot to go for a few drinks and have some bar food. It is a causal Irish pub. All the bartenders are friendly. Their food has gone downhill in my opinion, because their menu has changed. For example, they no longer have the godfather sandwich on the menu. Their chicken fingers have recently changed, and are not as good as they used to be. However, I love the honey mustard and horseradish dipping sauce they come with. They do have some of the best bloody marys in the area.“
“Went here on St. Patrick's day. They were in full party mode as one would expect and hope for. It was memorable but the music was a bit to loud for me as it was almost impossible to have a conversation. I'm sure some others would disagree. The Irish food was pretty good, The beer was the best part. Had a Guinness of course.“
“Good food, Great Service! The bartender is always very talkative, the ambiance is great as well. Always a nice group of of people. I highly recommend. The only thing is if want to sit at the bar go early and don't move- the bar fills up fast, but the dining room is a great alternative.“
“Went here to celebrate my bday early with some friends, loved the neighborhood feel and live band. Played darts and had an absolutely AMAZING time! 1000% recommend.....the staff is amazing and the whole vibe of the place makes u feel welcomed !“
“Amazing Irish food - and the prices are fabulous. Beer is always cold, vibes are always good. Best bar for a night in sweats or a night out with friends. Karaoke, trivia, bands, everything you could want. Bangers & Mash, Shepard's Pie, chicken Caesar wrap, fish & chips, burger, Cajun wrap, all “
“I had a delicious meal here. The Brussels sprouts app was so good. We sat at the bar and saw the pizza oven in action. They all looked delish. We had the fig prosciutto was to die for. The fish and chips were so crispy. Some of the best I've ever had.“
“For a moment I wasn't sure if I arrived to the right place because GPS will take you to the Marriot Hotel but dont worry, the bar is inside the hotel on the lobby floor.Friendly staff who were attentive to everyone.I had the Onion soup which was okay but the real treat was the corned beef on Rye.A simple experience I enjoyed.“
“Ambience is so cozy. I felt like I could've been in Europe. Good pub food, although I wish there were some more Vegan options. Highly recommend nipping in for a drink or two, especially around led the holidays! Located in the cute and busy little town of Westwood, NJ.“
“For many years this has been the best Irish pub to grab lunch or dinner inside or outside. Always something going on and the atmosphere is always pleasant filled with good people as employees and patrons. You can't go wrong stopping here for a pint.“
